I'm sorry it had to end this way Soulless, I really respect you as a player, never expected this to happen.

 

What you really mean is you were working on a project (I'm guessing another minecraft server) with an ex staff member which isn't stated as bannable nor demotable. A higher up then decided that they wanted to be show their dominance towards staff members and also decided they didn't like you so they demoted you. Happens to the worst of us.

+ @Lord_Roke if you seriously looked through TheMafias PM's isn't that invasion of privacy? I mean it was Putty that told me SS'ing someone upon their own will was invasive, but **** roke; going through someone's PRIVATE MESSAGES, damn you crossed the line on that ****.

I don't know, I think this was a significant demotion/resignation for everyone because of how active you were amongst the community. I don't really know you, as in never really held a conversation, but I knew you were very involved with the community because I saw you on a lot of posts. Again, it's a weird situation though because people are saying 'invasion of privacy' even though @SoCool21 had suspicion as well. Anyways best of luck from me, hope somehow this gets resolved and all a big rues.

I want the flame against the admins to stop. There is one thing you should be doing here and that's biding SoullessAngel_ farewell.

 

Yes, if you have complaints about the admins you can pm them, make a post in the negative post, or leave Brawl. You quite clearly don't understand anything that the admins do. They are there to ensure that current staff are doing their jobs. They each have their specialty that they work on. For example, Yinscape is in charge of coding, Canoodle is in charge of staff management, and Lord_Roke is in charge of forums. They are sort of like managers. Managers of stores do little work in front of people, but are there to ensure that the current employees/staff are doing their jobs. When a mod breaks a rule, they are demoted. Its the same as any job. If an employee breaks a rule, they are fired. I don't really get why you are so against the admins on this. They did nothing more than what should have happened. Souless knowingly broke a serious rule. Of course it resulted in his demotion. I liked soulless a lot, but rules are rules. He broke a major one, so I really can't complain about why he was demoted.

 

To clarify: Brawl's forum has never been "private". It is only private for other members, but never for the administrators - that you should all be aware of otherwise I'd be worried. You have to realize we have to go through available information on Brawl's property to find out what is going on, just like real life. And no, do not assume this is something we do for fun, this was an investigation whether you want it or not. Never assume before you know the facts.

Anyway sad to see you go, I didn't ecpect that hard consequences for leaking information, because I think everybody should know everything . But Roke knows why he calls himself the "Forums Watchdog". By the way, brave step by @SoCool21 , I am not sure if I would have dared it as a mod to post a resignation/outro of a retired/demoted staff member.

 

How ****ing invasive.

YinSkape looks after Brawl as a network and stops incoming traffic and also keeps the server online, so thanks for your incorrect advice. When you make a conversation of the forums no where does it say that admins can read the messages and use them as evidence against you meaning this demotion was invasive as ****.

Oh and thanks for the 3 options on what to do, the only higher up that ever listens is Cuddle and she barely has control over Roke so I'll be taking your 3rd one. Leave.

Honestly if you weren't trying to be a staff member yourself the comment you left on this post would be 200% different and you know it.

Besides, this was done solely for investigation purposes which in turn was made due to rumours.

Just want to say that nowhere does it state that conversations are private either. As I said, they are private for the members of the community but can never be for the administrators. Why? If a legal investigation by police would be carried out involving our forums, a property of Brawl (Evo Games Inc) we have to be able to give them all sorts of information they may need, which include conversations. That is one reason to why admins can see PMs.

To Soulless, I absolutely don't want to discuss things on your resignation but I also don't want false information to be spread either. :/
