Yes, yes, yes, and more yes. Damn, I didn't even hear this much "yes!" in Fifty Shades of Grey, the movie and that's saying something. But is it any suprise? Credit gifting - it's a very popular idea. @Daniellll's idea? Just as popular.

Credit gifting has a higher approval rating as an IDEA than Obama and Trump ever did as President. It's more popular than any of the current JMOD applicants by at least 10% and at least 20% more popular than Mia Khalifa for some f*ckin reason. No such overwhelming opinion has been seen on anything like this since the 90.9% of respondents to my Really Dank CTF Survey who wanted a Necro rework. Hell yeah.

However there are always those people, I know I've been one, who are like "ermagerd gift credits? That's like socialism and some sh*t." and then they're like "You know what letter SATAN starts with? S. What letter does socialism start with? S." and then they're like "What letter does sodomy start with? S. Is that a coincidence? I think not! Credit gifting is the work of SATAN!!!" Uh-huh. One of those people from a previous thread:

Yeah, sure. Sure. There's just a few problems with that. 1) You can't punch Brawl, it's a server, not your mum's new boyfriend. And 2) If anything was a "punch in the face for Brawl" it was the EULA. That sh*t penetrated Brawl's revenues harder than a sex comet from Neptune.

This is why we have things like a cap on how many credits you can gift instead of you giving some dude a load of 600,000 credits so he can run off and start the next Bubba-Gump Shrimpin' Company.

That's like saying the best possible option is too good so that we should, instead, collectively sh*t on ourselves and take another Obamacare. We know how that went down.

If you have more than one alt there's a 99% chance you're a flamer, a hacker, or lionafp. Since when did any of those people give a sh*t about actually playing CTF? A lot of people want credit gifting because they want to give credits to other people because they're such great people like that. Like @wintergreen3 except that one time she rejected my valentine #neverforgive #neverforget

I see. And what, exactly, are you going to use those credits for? You can't even buy a f*ckin Snickers (TM) with that sh*t. Believe me I've tried. They wouldn't even take an IOU. Stingy bastards.

Of course it's a question of kindness. And, I know this is gonna sound pretty controversial to all those "b-b-b-ut the CTF community is canzer!!!" kids, but I think people are generally pretty generous with a bunch of worthless stuff they don't need. Kinda like credits. How do I know this? Because of the 10+ quotes above from people with way too many credits screaming "LET US GIFT CREDITS!". That's how I know.

This isn't money we're talking about here. It's a currency even more worthless than the penny and less transact-able the bitcoin (TM). No one's going to sit with this stash of a million credits like f*ckin Smeagol and be like "IT'S MINE! MY CREDITS!". There is no "top 1%" of credit holders and there never will be. They're going to be like this:

So as part time archer and full time big f*cking guy @ACE_BLUE2 (I believe he's 6 ft. 9? I've seen him in a call. I swear he looks just like the Jolly Green Giant from that pea company) asks: "why can't we gift credits"?

This is why you have limits on how many credits you can get.

Gifting credits allows people to spend credits on whatever they want instead of what someone else decides to gift them (which may or may not be what they want).

No one is hoarding or is going to hoard credits. The only reason why people like @ACE_BLUE2 or @BrandinoB have the stupidly huge amount of credits that they do is because they can't get rid of them.

@gamren +1 Awesome idea. Additional voting would give Brawl more advertising, bringing in more players, and thereby lessening/eliminating any financial risk Brawl might take by allowing players to gift (a limited amount of) credits.
