Whew, I am very excited for this one. I would just like to thank @Proterozoic for the majority of this one. Not only did he write many articles, but he set up and planned out the document storing our information for each week, since my document was being used for last week's makeup post. Without further adieu, lets hop right into it.

    The Prophecy
We here at MSW like to pretend to be professionals, and what would fake professionals be without match predictions. Our analysts are locked in a basement and forced to calculate match results the best of the best, and try to offer predictions based off of rosters, map possibilities, recent matches, and more. Here are the predictions for next week!

    Proterozoic -
I’m predicting we see in each group:
    The Adventurers
    Defiance
    The Black Knights
    The Crusaders
As the finalists moving onto the next stage of the tournament

Predicting Unity vs TNSE Tourney Match
Maps- VoR, Blackout, Skyworlds 1, DV 1, River Crossing 1
CoasterHamza- Unity win. Tnse might win on blackout or tie it, but by the 4th map unity would have won

    Synthetic- Unity win.

JayOG- "But if they really wanted too, if they win this, they could stop Unity from advancing".

Gamren- I think it depends on the roster from TNSE. They could either have a great, S tier roster, or bring an average/decent roster. With recent additions of @Cardona360 , @hga , AiLuffYew, Deeg, and even more, I definitely think TNSE could overcome Unity only if they bring their best roster. If they do not, it will be a Unity win since Unity coordination is only going to get better with the return of @Daniellll .

[Tournament] The Crusaders vs Unity by @Proterozoic

I’ve personally been looking forward to proper tournament match between these 2 teams for quite some time now. Both teams tend to centre on defensive play with a soldier based offense, meaning that this match was always going to end up in the favour of the team that could pull off that strategy just a little better than the other. Both teams brought their strongest rosters to the game, with notable players like @8BitCyber and @Participated for unity, and @Quarrelt and @kevshadowslayer for the crusaders. Despite the advantage of experience going to the crusaders, the game could still have easily gone either way. The real test for both teams would be to overcome the strong defense posed by the opposition.

The first map choice went to the crusaders, who surprisingly chose blackout. A crusader staple, the map is offensively biased, especially for soldier offenses. Despite the map not being their choice, Unity battled hard, with @Azol managing to significantly damage the Crusader offense whilst @kevshadowslayer couldn’t distract. With that said, Unity’s offense simply couldn’t overcome the crusader defense for long enough to make a clean getaway, and so simply could not capture. The crusader offense through some intense effort did however manage to get out with the flag and capture twice, bringing the score for the first map to 2-0 to the Crusaders. Despite losing, Unity defense still proved to be formidable for only letting 2 captures through in 30 minutes, where many other teams have been less successful

Unity’s choice for map 2 was the original valley of ruin. This map is much more defensively favourable than blackout. This showed as despite successful steals by TC, Unity were much more successful in recovering efficiently. @Azol hindered TC offense considerably throughout the entire map. Despite this, Unity’s offense still couldn’t break through the crusader defense with @junebugulas, @kevshadowslayer and @Quarrelt. The Crusaders had more luck offensively and did eventually manage to capture, securing the map a 1-0 win for The Crusaders. This meant that Unity had to draw or win the next map to stay in the game.

Map 3, was agreed as Dragon valley I. This map, much like Valley of ruin is defensively biased with a small flagroom. This map was definitely where The Crusaders came into their own. Their offense was very highly coordinated, whilst Unity’s seemed to break down. Defensively, The crusaders also held strong, preventing Unity from stealing whilst their offense consistently captured. Contrasting with the slow paced maps before it, the game was over fast, with a strong 3-0 win to TC. This brought an end to the map and the match. Unity held defensively, particularly for the first 2 maps, but simply couldn’t bring their offense together to capture themselves. The Crusaders on the other hand managed to do both, which ultimately lead them to pull off the defensive strategy better than their opposition.

The player of the match for us definitely has to be @junebugulas. @kevshadowslayer and @Azol definitely managed to do some damage to the enemy offense, but @junebugulas stood out as being able to consistently deal extreme damage to Unity offense, as well as aiding to recover the flag constantly. A very strong defensive ninja, and I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of him in the competition. This win currently puts TC solidly into the top 2 spots in group B, meaning that we could be seeing a lot more of them in the tournament yet, and I for one am looking forward to it!
    Final Scores:
    Blackout: 2-0 TC
    Valley of Ruin: 1-0 TC
    Dragon valley I: 3-0 TC

    [Tourney] Anni vs Defy

Prematch Interview with @Miskey by @Godman

Godman: Defiance lost key players on their team that have made a significant impact, how does the team feel about this?

Miskey: Well, regardless of the circumstances that caused them to lose the players, it does make them a weaker team than they were before from my perspective. Honestly it didn't make us change up preparation or anything. I was confident we could beat them before and I'm confident we can beat them now.

Godman: Has Annihilation been preparing to go up against a good team who has proven that they can beat good teams such as The Crusaders?

Miskey: We hold weekly practices to get ready for our weekend matches, so we're always prepared in that sense. We've been able to beat a good amount of the middle of the pack teams fairly consistently, TC included as well

Godman: Is the team prepared for any unexpected roles that Defiance might offer?

Miskey: As far as team comps go, Defiance is pretty standard so we aren't really expecting anything too crazy.

    Final Scores:
    Opposites Collide V: 3-0 Defy
    Coresteel Station: 3-0 Defy
    Blackout: 2-2 Tie
Giant Chests I: 1-0 Defy (cut due to request)
    Player of the match: @elmocookie

    [Official] Anni vs DF

Pre match interview with @Miskey by @Godman

    Godman
: How is the team feeling about going against Delta Force since they are a very experienced team and can likely predict the expected?

Miskey: We obviously don't expect to crush Delta Force, however if our best roster shows we're hoping to surprise some people. Whether or not we win isn't our main priority in this match. We'd just like to put up a strong showing while having some fun.

Godman: alright last question, Any particular players that can be a challenge on DF?

Miskey: Their roster is pretty solid, but I'd say obi and link are there key players on defense and offense respectively due to their experience and individual skill sets

    Article by @Proterozoic

With all the tournament matches going on at the moment it’s easy to forget that there are incredibly strong teams, Delta Force, The Templars and Radiance reborn which aren’t involved. Thankfully Delta Force decided to demonstrate they were still around with a regular official match vs Annihilation. Delta Force as usual brought a powerhouse team with all the regular staples like @wintergreen3 and @linkcookie. Annihilation also brought strong players like @Miskey and @aefrogdog, which set the scene for an excellent match.

Map 1 was the choice of Delta Force, who opted for Opposites collide V, a defensively biased map known for close quarter pvp. Delta Force demonstrated this with incredible offensive and defensive power. Annihilation managed to hold up relatively well against strong offensive pushes but were unable to crack the Delta Force Defense. This was not the case for Delta who twice managed to crack Annihilation defense and successfully capture twice. This brought the final map score to 2-0 but Annihilation definitely deserve credit for holding up so well against Delta Force on their map pick.

Things did however begin to fall apart for Annihilation on their map pick, Airlock. Delta force opted for a highly roaming defense where at times there was not a single person near to their flag. The surprise defense prove incredibly challenging to Annihilation who could not steal and safely get out without being killed by the highly roaming players. Delta force’s offense managed to crack Annihilation defense much more successfully, and end the game 3-0 in their favour on Anihilations map pick! This brought a swift end to the match, with 2-0 maps in favour of Delta Force!

Our player of the match has to be @Suntail, as he consistently proved to be a powerful pvp force and even at one point clearing up most of Annihilations defense single handedly! I for one am definitely looking forward to seeing more matches from both Delta Force and Annihilation in the near future!

    Final Scores:
    Opposites Collide V: 2-0 DF
    Airlock: 3-0 DF
    Player of the Match @Suntail

[Official]Radiance Reborn vs Annihilation by @Proterozoic

Radiance Reborn, another team not involved in the tournament, also wanted to demonstrate that they were still a powerful team, and so also decided to have 2 matches this week. One of these was against Annihilation. Radiance reborn brought some of their best, including @BrandinoB and @nahzoo. Annihilation brought some good players like @Miskey but interestingly @aefrogdog, a staple of Annihilation defense, was not present.

First map was the choice of Radiance Reborn, who decided on Kill Creek IV. A map suited for more roaming defense, and with a lot of room to move unnoticed. Radiance Reborn chose a highly roaming defense, with little based in the flagroom itself. Annihilation fought hard to try and break this offensively, but with little success. Radiance Reborn also dominated offensively, with captures from @Ducksfan101 and even @BrandinoB. Annihilation definitely felt the pressure without @aefrogdog distracting enemy offense, and so despite a valiant effort, the map ended solidly 3-0 in favour of Radiance Reborn

The second map, chosen by Annihilation, was the staple Airlock, a map definitely known for close quarter battles. Radiance Reborn definitely kept up their heavy advantage both offensively and defensively. Annihilation fought hard, but were simply unable to crack Radiance Reborn defense. The latter definitely had more success, with @BrandinoB consistently stealing and capturing all three times to end the map 3-0 in Radiance Reborn’s favour again. This meant a 2 map win for Radiance Reborn, bringing an end to the match!

The player of the match definitely has to be @BrandinoB. 4 of the 6 captures on the Radiance Reborn side belonged to him, and he even had to time to demonstrate his impressive abilities as an archer!
    Final scores:

    Kill Creek IV: 3-0 RR

    Airlock: 3-0 RR
    Player of the Match: @BrandinoB

    Tourney Watch
With the tournament being live, we will be posting Tournament Match results and standings here.
The official tournament rankings can be found at this Website

    Win = 2 Points, Tie = 1.

    Match Log
    Group A
Defiance now has a confirmed spot as either A1 or A2. If they beat ADV in their final match, they will be confirmed the winners of group A, and gain the position of A1. That will set Anni/ADV in a tie position, which a tie breaker will occur if that does happen. If Defy is beaten by ADV, ADV will gain A1, and Defiance A2.

    Group B
BK/TC are now tied, but BK still has a match left against Unity, and Unity still has two matches. If Unity can beat TNSE and BK, that will set us at a three way tie. If Unity loses a single match, their dreams of group stage will be over. If they beat BK though, a tie breaker will have to happen between TC and BK. If BK beats Unity, then BK will gain B1, and TC B2.

    MSW Invitational
MSW has created and set in motion a tournament for the community. The tournament leaves out the top 3 teams, allowing for a more fair and competitive/even ground competition. We will be planning a tournament for the other teams later. Meanwhile, the tournament will take place in January, and end around February/March. Read more Here!

Interview with @5ive_Head involving TNSE vs Unity, conducted by gamren.
Gamren- First of all, thank you for letting me interview you! First question, how are you feeling about this upcoming tournament match? After a very close run against TC in the tourney, I know you guys must be feeling confident going into this match.

5ive_Head- I think it could definitely go either way. We did lose to TC in the tourney. However, recently, we had a scrimmage with majority members. We won last two maps with scores 2-0 discovery TC win, 3-0 Skyworlds TNSE win, and 5-4 TNSE win on blackout. A very close match. I wouldn't say either team pulled out their best rosters. We didn't have Exo, rachel, or noah. But also TC did not have kev, quar, or arc from what I remember. But even though we didn't have our best roster on both sides doesn't mean both roster were not strong. For example, TC had TheWolf__, merlin, xAsh,jackfrost, and keeler which were the main threats on their defense. We had Amber, Nlog, 2 mercs on defense, and short which were the main threats on our defense. In fact, someday, I would definitely interested in a rematch. However we are not facing TC. We are facing Unity. I've noticed pretty much all my teams play slow. We have a solution to that issue AiLuffYew gave some really good input that will probably put into practice this match. I think by playing the game in a faster paced practice will be beneficial to our gameplan. We also have lost to Unity a few other times in the past, but the thing we didn't have that we have now is hope. After you win a match, you hold onto those wins and treasure those wins and over time they will push you to harder and higher limits. There should always be a balance to those limits. Winning every map and getting over confident is something that can cause a loss. The thing with TNSE is we haven't had any match until we beat TC in the scrim, we have hope and that's what pushes competitive ctf teams to keep striving to be the best they can. Even with family based teams, like TNSE, hope is what we can hold onto for future matches.

G- Awesome to hear, you guys are definitely improving from when we first saw TNSE peak into teams, and TNSE shouldn't be underestimated. How do you feel with recent new roster additions of not only Cardona and Hga, but even Deeg, AiLuffYew, and more?

5- I feel like they are all amazing additions to the team. I try not to think too much about it or make any conclusions about our team even with all these amazing players joining our team. Reason for that, I get too competitive when that happens. I also over hype my team quite often as well. I want us to go in confident but not cocky. I don't want people to go into a match thinking they should've done better than they did. Back a super long time ago in a galaxy a long time ago, SE (not TNSE) faced Defy. We almost lost to defy. We won, but i was frustrated with the outcome because I felt we should've done better with the new additions to the team and several other factors. I dont want me or my team to feel that way. I want them to go in confident while making mistakes but improve from the mistakes they've made. We are improving slowly but surely. Whatever happens in the tourney match, I want them to know they played their hardest and that's all I can ask from them. I love you TNSE <3

G- Impressive leadership, amazed at your mindset on the time and I can only agree and support that. After the tourney, how do you guys think you will deal up against some of the newly formed teams, like TBF and Water Taste?

5- I think the best thing we can do is simply to not expect much but try our best while having faith and confidence in our team and ourselves. Regardless what happens we know we can all be friends and we can all be cool, fun, and amazing people. We have nothing to lose. All we have is our bonds and relationships to keep us going.

G- Thanks for the interview, I wish best of luck to you and TNSE in not only your remaining tournament, but in future matches as well!

5- Thanks gamren! Thanks for the opportunities you give the community.
