PacelikeAubameyang - 2-1 tnse- Close game overall. TBF with Ace is a very solid side that can beat teams like Unity and TC. Putting TNSE currently around that level I do think that TBF has a shot but I think TNSE and their offence will eventually prove to much for the TBF defense.

2-0 DF- Basically I can only see an upset if DF plays a different roster with some of the newer players or if they play a lot of the less active players. With a regular roster DF should be able to handle ADV, who can hold their own against the big fish. Especially on defense. But in my opinion DF has the strongest offence and should be able to 5-0 or 6-0.

2-1 BK- BK seems to have proved they can hold their own against the top 3 and are trying to emerge as an equal with them. I think they have the motivation to finally have a signature top 3-win coming off a morale boosting nail-biter loss to DF. While TT is no easy task they are missing many key players and It will be interesting to see how they set up. All 3 close games but I think the PvP edge of BK will show. For TT to win they will need to stay coordinated as always and they will need to really have an exceptional plan for defense after losing arguably 3 of their best defenders temporarily. That is the main reason I give a slight edge to BK.

    b0squet - My take/guesstimate would be:
TBF wins 2-0-1 (2 wins, 1 tie) over TNSE, could change depending on map selection and roster for TNSE. TBF has had fairly strong results of late, while TNSE trending in the other direction. If Trego shows to play pyro & maps tend to be more tunnel-oriented, that could tilt things in TNSE's favor, but neither rosters nor maps have been added to the thread yet.

DF wins 2-0 over ADV. Despite a scary-close game yesterday against BK, DF should still be able to handle ADV in 2. ADV hasn't had the strongest results of late (struggling at times with a TNSE roster that would fall short of what I'd call 'full strength'), and their map pick of Opposites Collide V, while favorable to ADV, is arguably DF's strongest map of late. However, DF may run into trouble if the majority of their roster skips to play League.

Unity wins 2-1 over ADV, assuming this match actually exists. I can't find the thread, and the match isn't on the spreadsheet (note for Unity/ADV people - get on that asap). This could go either way, really - Unity had a string of losses in the first couple months of the year (including their first matchup with ADV, as well as matches with TC, TBF, and BK2), but has since had strong showings against Water Taste & TC. ADV has looked shaky in recent matches (a narrow win against TNSE where they only looked solid on Lowrise, a stronger showing against Anni that ultimately resulted in a loss), but its offense poses a tougher challenge for Unity's defense in terms of melee than they faced in their recent wins. Map choice will also play an important role in the matchup - ADV should have a stronger archer on Unity's traditional map pick of Valley of Ruin (it favors defensive archers, which fits the playstyle of freerider well), while that advantage may be neutered on ADV's traditional pick of Opposites V. I eventually decided on Unity over ADV based on having seen considerably better offensive coordination from them in recent games, but this really could go either way,

    CoasterHamza - 2-0 TNSE
    2-0 DF
    2-1 TT

    dragoarg7 - 2-1 tbf
    2-0 df
    2-0 tt

    Snowleak14 - TNSE 2 vs 1 TBF
    ADV 1 vs 2 DF
    TT 2 vs 0 BK
    Unity 0 vs 2 ADV

BK vs DF by @CoasterHamza and @November
Since this match was planned only a few hours before it happened, and was official, I was sceptical on whether it would work out, or even happen. However it did happen as an official 7v7, although both teams were missing key players, like DF missing obi and thg and bk missing players like kriz and epic (although he was subbed in around halfway through map 3). Starting the game off with BK’s pick: Metro. BK’s 3 man offense, consisting of Jay, Uni, and Raging, seemed stronger than DF’s 2 person offense (tzig and link). Putting a 3rd person on offense in a 7v7 may be risky, but it can work out. DF realized that they needed a third person, so they added winter as medic. About 4 minutes in, Suntail got a nice steal as chemist and was out, but the BK offense made the right choice by turning around, and BK were able to surround Suntail, killing him and giving BK the recov. Nothing else major happens until at 11 minutes, link gets a steal as heavy and makes it all the way to mid, but doener is able to use frenzy and get the recov. At 9 minutes, link gets another steal as heavy, but this time he is fairly clean. He runs into BK as he is exiting the train, but he turned into the mid tunnel and luckily gets hit forward into his support and medic, giving DF the first cap of the game. Around the 3:30 mark, winter and jay both steal as medic. They run into each other once winter gets out of the tunnel and both get their support after running into each other. After some questionable medic teaming from winter and suntail, winter passes the flag to gamren as heavy, and jay passes the flag to lewka as heavy. The stalemate continued until Suntail headshots Lewka and DF recovers. Gamren is on his way to cap, but Misplacement steals as chemist and gets a ninja to support, and the timer runs out.

Aftermatch Interview with @pedruu by @Godman

Pedruu - It was really fun. I had to play pyro tho, which is not my main class, so it was kinda stressful, but it was fun overall.

LordImmaCap - How does the team feel about Suntail's performance?

Pedruu - I feel that the synergy tz adds with the rest of the team, especially the offense, greatly impacts us and he helps make us the team that we are today.

LordImmaCap - Was DF confident when facing BK?

Pedruu - We were kinda not too confident in the first game because we didn’t have our main roster, specially on the second map, but we were happy that it turned out well for us. Next time we will make sure not to do 7v7s anymore.

LordImmaCap - What could DF do to improve their chances of winning against BK?

Pedruu - Not doing 7v7s and having our actual roster (probably a 10v10 or 12v12).

LordImmaCap - Alright, thank you for the interview.

    Pedruu - Anytime! ^-^

    TC vs TNSE by @Proterozoic
With The Crusaders’ anniversary of becoming official occurring over the weekend, I knew that something big would be planned. With that said, even I wasn’t expecting roughly 12 hours worth of matches. The Crusaders went all out, planning matches with Water Taste, Radiance Reborn, Delta Force, The Blue Flaggers, Journey, The Adventurers, Annihilation, Unity and of course Totally Not Solar Eclipse! This was one of the earlier matches, but was no less entertaining! Both teams notably brought some interesting choices with The Crusaders not running their main pyro or @kevshadowslayer as an archer. Similarly, Totally Not Solar Eclipse did not bring their main defensive pyro @trego_777777. Both teams did however bring some key threats such as @junebugulas and @xashes for The Crusaders, and Totally Not Solar Eclipse bringing players like @Nlog_88 and @ForeverCool21. In the recent past, both Totally Not Solar Eclipse and The Crusaders have been fairly evenly matched, and without all of their usual players, this could have easily gone either way.

The first map was the choice of The Crusaders, who as usual chose to run blackout. This map did however benefit both teams as Totally Not Solar Eclipse also tends to favour a soldier dominated offense. This was demonstrated as both teams managed to successfully steal within 4 minutes, bringing the game to a solid stalemate. The Crusaders’ unusual lack of coordination on the map allowed @qerin to pick up a dropped flag, handing it off to @Cardona360, whilst @kingscrub successfully counter stole and handed to @Swit2427. This stalemate dominated much of the map, with it taking a full 17 minutes of the map before The Crusaders managed to successfully recover. This first successful capture fueled The Crusaders, and in the space of 5 minutes 2 more captures had been successfully pulled off. @Cardona360 managed to successfully steal, though The Crusaders continued to hold strong with @Swit2427 counter-stealing, bringing the game once again to a stalemate. This stalemate ultimately amounted to nothing, with neither team able to successfully recover within the last 7 minutes of the map. This ended the first round 3-0 solidly in favour of The Crusaders.

The second map, chosen by Totally Not Solar Eclipse, was metro. This map was an odd choice given the obvious limitations of soldier. With that said, Totally Not Solar Eclipse had in the past pulled off strong upsets including against The Black Knights. The Crusaders however not only defiantly held their ground but ultimately dominated. With @junebugulas as heavy offense, the team quickly dominated the enemy flagroom with a quick capture by @Swit2427 in the first 4 minutes. A second strong capture was made only 5 minutes later by @JokerNight as Totally Not Solar Eclipse were overwhelmed by the strong heavy offense. The Totally Not Solar Eclipse defense then massively stepped up their game, with @Nlog_88 saving the game numerous times with a number of impressive assassinations. @Cardona360 did also manage an impressive capture despite the powerful crusader defense. However, in the last 2 minutes of the game, @xashes skilfully used medic to capture and end the map in a solid 3-1 in favour of The Crusaders. This also meant the match overall was also won.

Both @xashes and @Nlog_88 played extremely well this game, @xashes for her impressive medic recovery combined with excellent offensive support throughout the match. @Nlog_88 once again proved herself to be an extremely strong assassin, stopping captures numerous times on both maps, particularly metro (as already mentioned). It’ll be interesting to see what happens next time when both teams bring some of their even stronger players (and in the case of TC, aren’t tired from fighting so many teams in a row)!

    Final Scores:
    3-0 TC
    3-1 TC

    TC vs U by @Proterozoic

The 12 hour Crusader extravaganza on the weekend brought us many good matches last weekend, with the fight with Unity being predicted to be one of the closest. Both teams are considerably skilled, and with The Crusaders having fought several matches on the day already, they would be considerably more tired than usual! Both teams brought some powerful players, with The Crusaders bringing players like @Laraa_ and Unity bringing @eeyore6.

The first map of the match was the choice of The Crusaders, naturally going for their usual pick of blackout. This however also suited Unity, as the team also prefers to run a soldier dominated offense. Despite this advantage for both sides however, the vast majority of the time spent on the map was in stalemate. @eeyore6 and @Swit2427 successfully during the opening minutes of the map, and no successful recovery was made for the entire match. At times the recovery squads were close, but still ended up being unsuccessful. The map ended in a 0-0 tie, though this was ultimately to the benefit of Unity as they had successfully stalled TC out of their map choice without losing captures. TC were remarkably unsuccessful despite it being their map, though this was probably due to consistent games they had been playing for hours before this match.

The second map, Opposites collide V, was chosen by Unity. This map is known for being relatively unfriendly to soldiers, which would definitely hamper The Crusader offense. At first however, this backfired as the strong Crusader offense quickly landed a capture in their favour. This resolve quickly weakened, leading to another stalemate between @Swit2427 and @eeyore6. Unlike last time, this stalemate ended quickly in favour of Unity, who quickly equalised. This momentum was kept up, with a second and third capture happening in only 4 minutes after the first, leading to a dominating 3-1 win for Unity. This meant The Crusaders had to 3-0 Unity on the next map to successfully win the match.

The agreed pick was valley of ruin, another soldier map to the benefit of both teams. The timer was set to 15 minutes immediately due to time of The Crusaders next match. Unity kept up their dominance here as well, with @Insomniac__ capturing in 4 minutes, making sure The Crusaders could only tie at best. A follow up was made in another 4 meaning Unity had won the game. From this point, The Crusaders gave up, allowing @GoToBed to end the game uncontested as a 3-0 for Unity, a surprisingly strong victory in their favour!

@Participated was selected as player of the game due to his impressive offensive abilities throughout the match. Several captures were successful due to his plays, particularly on Opposites collide. Not only that, but on the same map he broke the stalemate by recovering the flag from @Swit2427, leading to another capture from @eeyore6. Being instrumental in so many important moments in the match definitely earns him that spot as MVP.

    Final Scores:
    0-0
    3-1 U
    3-0 U

    TC vs WT by @Deppuccino

April 1st: TC’s anniversary. And they decided to celebrate it with 12 hours straight of matches. Was it for the best? Debatable, but there were certainly some entertaining matches. The first one, against Water Taste, was fairly one-sided, but TC still stood their ground, even on their worst enemy of a map. Let’s see what map I’m talking about, shall we?

The first map was Opposites Collide, a map that’s OP for every class that TC doesn’t focus on, such as Heavy, Ninja, Medic and Pyro. Water Taste’s dominance started showing not even a minute into the game, when Hai5e stole the flag as Heavy for WT and made it out on bottom, and earned the team’s first cap only a few dozen seconds later. That was followed by a failed attempt by Swit to steal. About a minute later, Plautius stole for WT, but was killed by junebugulas’s frenzy. A minute and 5 seconds after that, xMhr stole for TC, but didn’t make it out the flagroom. 54 seconds later, TC had another failed attempt at capping. A while later, WT gone for another cap, but failed as _1D got cornered in the flagroom as Medic. xAshes tried stealing for TC, and she got out on top in fact, but was quickly killed by DTJ. After a while, Hai5e once again stole for WT, but was shut down by the Crusader defense, but Hai5e quickly got his honour back, as with the help of _1D and Plautius, he successfully got out the flagroom via the bottom route as Heavy, quickly resulting in a capture. Afterwards, he attempted another Heavy cap, but with his Medic dead, he was quickly overwhelmed by the TC defense. Later, _1D stole as Medic, but was once again cornered by junebugulas and Laraa_. WT made another attempt at stealing, but Hai5e and Plautius were quickly killed. _1D stole as Medic, but when he realized that a capture was impossible in that situation, he dropped the flag and ran off. A few minutes later, after some complications, Hai5e stole once again, but was frenzied by junebugulas. 13 minutes and a half into the game, _1D stole as Medic once again, but failed to get very far. TC decided to try a comeback, but Swit died of frenzy right after grabbing the flag. With 5 minutes and a bit remaining, Hai5e stole the flag and got out bottom as Heavy with minimal support. Swit tried creating a stalemate, but the WT defense quickly killed her, leading Hai5e to gain WT’s 3rd capture, winning the map with 3-0.

The 2nd map was The Crusaders’ traditional pick, Blackout. They usually did very good on this map, but would this be the case against Water Taste? They started off strong, easily defending a stealing attempt by Hai5e, and Swit managed to get out as Soldier, but was frenzied by DTJ. Hai5e once again tried to steal, but was killed by junebugulas’s frenzy right after getting the flag, and Swit got the recovery. 3 minutes into the game, Hai5e got out as Soldier, and after some harassment from the ninja and the soldier, got the restore, and eventually got WT’s 1st capture on the flag. Hai5e tried stealing again, but got assassinated. _1D then picked it up, and got fairly far, before getting backed to the wall and killed by TC’s defense. Right afterwards, xMhr stole, but was killed and recoved off of by Forever_Artemis. Hai5e once again stole, but was quickly shut down. A few minutes later, xAshes stole but rapidly died. Hai5e tried stealing, but once again died. He stole again and this time got out and quite far, but was killed and recoved off of. xAshes once again stole but was assassinated by LordImmaCap. xMhr nearly got out, but was killed by DTJ’s frenzy, and Forever_Artemis finished off xAshes. Half way into the game, Hai5e stole and got out as Soldier, and with 2 ninjas on support, the recovery was quickly killed, but not before Hai5e got the medic restore, leading to WT’s 2nd capture. A few dozen seconds later, Hai5e once again got out as Soldier, which got WT’s 3rd cap, whilst Xelia_ striked me for insulting her puns. Well anyway, xAshes tried to steal as Soldier, but was frenzied by DTJ once again, followed by xMhr stealing and then suffering the same fate. Hai5e tried to get a 4th cap, but Swit killed him before he could even get to mid. Hai5e once again stole, but was once again slain by Swit. LordImmaCap tried to steal, but couldn’t get out the flagroom. _1D stole as Medic and got quite far, but Laraa_ made easy work of him as Ninja. After the WT defense receiving some harassment from redboo, xMhr stole, but unfortunately for her, died on the flagpost. Hai5e tried stealing once again, but junebugulas took his life with a frenzy. But what they didn’t realize is that that was a distraction, as LordImmaCap afterwards made a clean steal as Soldier, but was typekilled by Swit on top of TC’s spawn. But that steal gave Hai5e enough time to return to TC’s flagroom and steal, getting out after some trouble from the opposing defense. xAshes then stole for TC, but was killed by Plautius. After Hai5e getting frenzied, _1D tried to cap, but was backed against a wall again by TC’s def. LordImmaCap stole and got out as soldier, but died to fire damage, and TC’s ninja unfortunately got to the dropped flag before Hai5e could, earning the recov. But Hai5e didn’t give up, as he stole and got out, getting the Medic, but being victim to an assassination by AlexisRose. A bit later, Hai5e did another steal, getting out and reaching mid, and a few seconds before getting the 4th capture, with a lot of WT on support, Laraa_ pulled off an impressive recovery as Ninja. Swit took the opportunity to steal, but unfortunately died to fire damage right after getting out the flagroom. xAshes also tried to steal, but didn’t get very far either. Both teams then stole the flag, but both got frenzied by the opposing pyros, dying in the process. Hai5e stole and then was frenzied by junebugulas, and _1D stole but was Ninja’d by Laraa_. LordImmaCap managed to assassinate the entire TC defense and steal as Assassin, but Laraa_ caught up to him and got the recovery right before Hai5e reached the dropped flag. The remaining 10 seconds passed, and Blackout ended on a 3-0 win for Water Taste, thus ending the match, with WT winning 6-0. This was not a very good day on Blackout for TC…

    Final scores:
    Opposites Collide: 3-0 WT
    Blackout: 3-0 WT

    TC vs RR by @JayOG
RR vs TC was an interesting match to watch. It was just one out of the 9 or 10 matches that were played in the TC matches marathon! The game quickly started with RR’s offense dashing towards TC’s base on Canadian Fort. Patriq is able to get a quick steal but shortly falls due to the great amount of damage dealt to him by the pyro and ninja. Shortly after Patriq dies, RR’s soldiers come in, one of them dying rather quick, but Hamza is able to steal perfectly fine after surviving a pyro frenzy, but shortly dies to KingScrub as an assassin. TC was struggling throughout the match to get to RR’s flagroom due to being held back by BrandinoB. TC tried to adjust their defense to one heavy roaming to try and target Pudgy. Once RR gets to TC’s flagroom, Hamza dies pretty quick but is followed by Ducksfan101. Ducks gets a clean steal but shortly dies while trying to reach the sponge because of another great assassination by KingScrub. But, it shortly backfires because Patriq is able to get a clean steal with little damage done by Ghenry that tried to stall him inside the flagroom. He is able to slide past the defense of TC that tried to recover with help of Pudgy, he gets away. He shortly meets up with the rest of their recovery, and tries to stall for a medic, which he doesn’t get due to the fact he got frenzied. Once Patriq dies, Hamza steals the flag untouched. He takes the sponge and is basically half way across the map. He find Laraa_ shortly, and is stalled but has support so he is able to pass through. The TC archer gets headshotted by Brandino. Hamza then hurries and caps. Right after the cap, RR is able to steal once again. Ducksfan is able to get to the sponge without much trouble, then he finds support from RR’s offense leading to a 2-0 16 minutes into the match. RR is able to get 2 captures in the span of a minute and 30 seconds. After, TC is able to steal but Swit shortly dies to damage, and Ash picks it up but it killed due to the fact that she webbed herself. As soon as the flag was recovered Junebugulas is able to steal the flag without trouble and goes out the back side. But then is headshotted before reaching the sponge. Patriq comes in the flag, steals, but it killed before he can get out. Keeler sets off fastbow! Hacker! (Jkjk) RR comes into the flagroom almost clearing everyone but a pyro and a medic. Hamza is able to steal without trouble, and reaches the sponge. After he uses the sponge, Pudgy shortly finds him and is able to fully restore him. He gets stuck in a web though - _- but if fine due to his support. The TC archer wasn’t able to find Hamza. Swit is able to steal before Hamza is able to cap, but is assassinated by Flu_. RR was able to 3-0 TC in 8 minutes.

The next map that was played was Blackout. These two teams are known for having a very well coordinated offense, so this map was expected to go either way. But by now, after playing so many matches, TC must have been exhausted. They were missing key players like ArticGalaxy, and Kevshadowslayer. To start of the map, RR’s defense was looking as strong as ever! They were able to hold off the TC offense. Lisapham99 and DoodleBerry7 were able to stall their soldiers. Ducksfan quickly gets a steal but is low due to a large amount of damage dealth by the TC defense. He shortly then gets headshot by JokerNight. As soon as he dies, Hamza is able to steal but dies to Keeler’s frenzy. TC is able to hold out on defense. RR offense shortly dives inside the TC flagroom and nearly clears it. Hamza with a very nice steal, he is out clean. KingScrub the assassin was right behind him but was not able to reach him before he climbed up. He then finds Pudgy to get restored. He gets support from Pudgy and DoodleBerry7. First capture by RR in 3 minutes. Right after Hamza caps, Ash is able to steal the flag but dies to an assassination by Flu_. Ducks is then stalled outside the flagroom, but is able to slide inside and steal the flag. He gets out with no steak but then dies to flag poison. Brandino seems to be controlling the way the match was going due to the fact JokerNight was playing more defensively due to losing the archer battles. Swit then steals the flag but is killed, right after she dies Ducksfan is able to steal TC’s flag. He was able to get out fairly healthy, Joker misses the HS. Ash is able to steal the flag but then dies. Letting Ducksfan get the second cap 6 minutes into Blackout. Hamza a minute later steals the flag very clean and reaches mid in no time. He got more than halfway across the map, and Joker wasn’t able to catch up to him. He gets the cap, then Ash tries to steal but is killed by the massive damage that RR’s defense dealt to her.Hamza then gets out again, but is headshot before he can climb ontop to mid. Ducksfan is able to steal the flag as soon as Hamza dies, and a lot pressure was put onto him, but he got out. Brandino is able to headshot the assassin coming up from the ladders. Ducks was clean out, and got the cap. 4-0 8 minutes into the match. Hamza then is able to steal again, and then Hamza is able to get to mid with no trouble. He then gets the cap. Very well played by both teams. RR showing it is still a great team, and TC showed that they are able to put a lot of effort into these matches. It was a fun one to watch!

    Final Scores:
    3-0 RR
    5-0 RR

    TC vs TBF

After Match Interview with @JokerNight by @Nlog_88

Nlog_88 - Alright! Thanks for letting me interview you! First off, I would like to ask you about TC’s confidence overall. How confident were you guys doing the TBF Match?

JokerNight - Pretty much all of yesterdays matches were just for fun so we did not try as hard as we could have. Also a MAJOR disadvantage JokerNight was not playing :frowning:(. Yesterday’s sole purpose was to have fun for TC’s 3rd year anniversary, not to go for the win.

Nlog_88 - I understand. It’s nice to just have some matches for fun. Congratulations on the anniversary! Even though the matches was for fun, was there anybody in particular you guys were looking out for?

JokerNight - Thank you. Codebastian’s mere presence struck fear into the crusaders hearts.

Nlog_88 - I got yeah. Next, How was TC feeling heading into the match?

JokerNight - Tired, didn’t really care, just wanted to end the day after a lot of members playing 6 hours plus of continuous matches. There was also a lack of moral due to the absence to heavy weights JokerNight and Redboo123.

Nlog_88 - Understandable. I’m sure it was tired some. Would TC do another match marathon to celebrate or only a few matches?

JokerNight - “F * * k n o”-xAshes It was too tiring and turns out there’s a limit to how much ctf you can play.

Nlog_88 - I can understand that completely. Last Question, How well did you think your team worked together? I know you did mention you were tired and weren’t really trying since it was for fun.

JokerNight - There was no teamwork. The call was everyone screaming at each other. Junebugulas was killing us as pyro, xAshes was saying how much she hates us. It was a complete disaster, but it was great.

Nlog_88 - That’s good at you guys had fun during your marathon. Thanks again for letting me interview you Joker! <3

JokerNight - I would like to shout out xAshes- for being the most toxic TC member, Redboo123- for being the most kind, caring, and loveable and Kip01-because she asked me to :grinning:
