Thoughts on Necro

    So, I've been playing a little bit here and there and naturally I play some of Necro because its borderline addiction at this point. But either way, here is what I noticed. Its very hard to do anything rather then just sit in the middle of the map and try and kill people. Since the restrictions to spawning mobs and placing the beacon seem to be the same as Engineer you cant try and lock down any strategic points and hardly defend the flag. I just wanted to ask a question about what y'all thought about it.

    What do you think of the restrictions to Necro's ability to spawn mobs and place the mob beacon?

    Personally I don't think egg placement should have any restrictions, especially not as strict as Engineer's equipment. One or two zombie eggs have no where near the same lock down that a turret has.

    I also believe the beacon should be unrestricted. (Maybe like 3 blocks around the flag). You can get the zombies into a flag room regardless, but a beacon in the room makes them defensive rather then random zombies in the flag room.

    All in all, I don't believe removing the restrictions would do much other then give a more defined ability to preform a roll.

    Disclaimer-
    I understand that making separate permissions for Engi and Necro would be a pain in the ass
    Multiple Necros could be a problem then I guess?
    Not proposing a change, just want to see if you guys think this would have an impact/if anyone else feels this way

    So one more time, I just wanna know what y'all think. What do you think of the restrictions to Necro's ability to spawn mobs and place the mob beacon?

    In my opinion, the restrictions on the mob eggs are silly. I don't see a problem with being able to place the mobs in the flag room. If a Necro could do that, I feel like the mobs might have some use to them.

    Mobs tend to end up in the flag room anyways.

    what adam said. Remove the gay mob/spawner restrictions so it's actually possible to place mobs within 100 blocks of the flagroom.

    would much rather see a complete rework since the whole design of Necro is stupid but that's not going to happen

    Restricting mobs being placed in the flagroom is another way of saying "restricting necro from playing objectively".

    I agree with this alot actually. I do feel like restricting mobs around the flag room is silly and makes necro that more useless. Having it more able to defend especially with the mob beacon will make necro just a bit more of a viable class. +1
