the issue in brawl

Saves having to go through a bunch of appeals from friends of 1 person that has possibly violated the rules or been punished falsely for. When the person that actually violated the rules or has been given a false punishment could appeal it themselves go into full detail and actually make an appeal with some evidence against their punishment.

somebody hacked into my account and they're saying it was my fault lmao. you're not the only one in this boat. goes to show how ****ing corrupt the staff is. when they get hacked, i don't see them serving 6+ month bans. massive oof

 

That ban reason is bs. I don't get how smods can deny that. I always ask smods to unban for this, but for some reason they don't. Never got a valid reason.

Snail got hacked and wasn't banned.

We used to ban for "Compromised account".
I don't get why we don't do that anymore.

Unless it is physically impossible to prove that it wasn't hacked, they should unban. I think Smods can not prove that it was really hacked.

 

The funny thing is that I could prove it(or provide as much proof as possible). After recovering the email by contacting GMail, I looked through the mail log-in history and saw log-ins from an IP 1000+ miles where I lived, multiple emails from mojang prompting for a password change, and timestamps that proved I haven't logged in to the email months before the day I recovered it. I don't even mind contacting Mojang for their verification. But, of course, Brawl SMods known for their ability to communicate with the people they banned. Not even going to bother dealing with that **** because the rank on it pretty much already expired, lol. It's kind of funny how Brawl staff don't understand how easy it is for an account to get broken in to.

only problem I see with having people write your appeals for you is that it a lot of times shows that the banned player doesn't really care enough to try and get unbanned on his own.

however, if you're referring to the kasra situation in which he got false banned for nkb + a denied appeal, appealing for that player should be allowed especially if it shows further evidence regarding his ban. kasra did make an appeal and it ended up getting denied, so it shows he does care about getting unbanned and that he is dedicated. he couldn't make another appeal, and (assuming you're speaking about this situation) we all gathered more evidence, another appeal was made under a different account.

so yes whoever denied that appeal needs to stop being a bick right this instant and unban kasra (even if you aren't talking about kasra unban him still)

last time I got banned in game I assumed the banner in particular was @JAYGT and I bullied him over the forums so he would unban me even though my appeal was denied

I'm good at assuming so I assume the person that banned this player in question was none other than @Eil so eil please accept this appeal or you will be cyber-bullied

Thank you for clarifying, it looks a tad bit more extreme than "Please unban me bick" when you use those terms.

 

Keep in mind Snail was specifically told to change his password and keep his account safe, which he failed to do. Sounds like his fault entirely if you ask me.
