False Bans Are A Serious Problem

Miskey doesn't even play warz, don't understand why he has global smod considering he mainly plays PvP gamemodes. I'd be annoyed if an smod that doesn't even play the gamemode came and unbanned/banned a player from another gamemode.

 

What I said in that thread was stupid of me and really immature, every time its said I feel stupid and that I'm the dumbest of the staff team. But what I want you to understand is that I mostly ignore it and make a joke of it instead of flaming back. And I don't want to get on your bad side or upset you either meep. I just want people to forget about it and if it does come up ignore it. And also my bans are 99% legitimate so don't bring up my bans or justification

 

If they were you then how would you get banned for any of these reasons as I have fought you and know for a fact that you are really bad :/

all higher ups need to do is quit being wimps and implement a screen share protocol. "but but IT INVADES PRIVACY" shut the hell up nobody has a stash of hentai that they don't want people to see (except for maybe @Yorei). literally all these problems could be solved so much faster and more efficiently if you would quit treating somebody's minecraft folder like an FBI case Jesus Christ

 

It was completely and totally false I didn't even have a hacked client on my computer lol and my ping was spiking which you failed to flash my connection in the video.

I'm not global Smod, I'm just not server specific due to most of the stuff I do not being server specific. I don't unban or ban players from WarZ often at all, and when I do there's usually a long discussion with a WarZ staff member before any conclusion is made.

Main issue with this imo is that I'd only trust like 5 staff members to screenshare me correctly. A ****ty screenshare from someone who doesn't really care about being thorough can 'confirm' an illegitimate player or false ban a legitimate player.

 

if you guys made it to where staff are REQUIRED to record all screenshares and upload them privately this would stop people from doing poor jobs. if they record themselves doing a bad job screen sharing then revoke their right to do it

 

Great arguments! Pointless though, @chickenputty doesn't stoop as low as to actually participate in discussions with the community.
(unless he wants to swoop in and insult someone who calls him out on something to basically farm funny ratings)

 

What do you mean, like miskey said there are only a few mods that actually know how to screenshare. There's no point in getting tons of mods doing something they don't know how to do.

 

Simple solution to that too lol.
Make them take a screen sharing test. They have to pass the hack test in order to ban players and keep/gain the MOD rank, why not have a screen sharing test? Would very easily weed out the ones who don't have any idea what they are doing.

 

Can't mods just go to spectator mode and possess the players as a form of screensharing?

In spectator mode, if you right click a player or mob, you get to see the game from their perspective
