Launch Pads

We have asked recently about having them be removed, made more rare, or less rare. The outcome was greatly different. Huge amounts of people wanted them to become MORE common. Which is the poll made ingame. Unless another is poll created, and people want them removed, they will stay as of right now.

 

Well if any acts were to be made, it isn't on what just people think is broken or not. If we used a logic like that, then many things would get nerfed. I prefer for the changes to WarZ be made public and let people have an opinion on what should, and should not be added, kept, or nerfed, etc. When making that pole, it was a huge split, we made a poll to remove them, and remove grapples and both were negative in results. Some of the community may dislike it but at the end of the day it was made off a preference that they wanted. Which was to make them more common/keep them. But what I can ask to do is have a limit. After 3 launches, possibly make it destroy itself? I think that can limit the amount of people flying and possibly stop abuse. As well as probably having a radius between where they can be placed. Depends though. But for the amount of times it can be used, that'll be one of the better options than just taking them out. Thanks for your input!

 

You can easily make a poll yes, but from many polls people vote for what they like. If someone is enjoying something you have put it, why edit it and take it out? Trust me, the votes were nowhere near 23, for the exact number of all the people who voted, it was 323 unique player ID's (accounts) that voted on the poll. The vast majority of them were individuals who ended up liking the boost pads. Yes there has been great talk about them but at the end of the day when a 1/3rd of all those (the rest were saying it was fine, making it rarer, or removing) votes wanting to keep it, stats talk. Specially when the majority did not want them gone. Removing them is something that most likely will not happen unless they are completely game breaking. You can also use their boost pads, you can use them escape fights, save your life, get into fights, or chase someone. There are countless possibilities on how to use them. Really I don't see the problem of just limiting the uses, instead of fully removing them which is the main point of the thread. If people want them removes, so be it. But that would take another ingame poll and about a week of waiting for a decent result sample size.

We get that amount of people new to our server weekly, just there is such a big learning gap that they do not stay because of the fact they cannot challenge the other players who have been playing the game for years.

#RemoveLaunchPads I don't play anymore but it I'm pretty sure launch pads should not be in a gamemode like WarZ. And I don't think flying men in a gamemode like WarZ sounds fun and I like it better when you actually have to travel to places and if you can go from one side of nether to the other in a couple of seconds that's broken for fights and just what's the point of the chest being in different locations.

And if I ever do come back I don't think it would be as fun.
