    I gonna tell you how great this, if you ask me.
    I have playd CTF since it started.

    It's good as it is!
    You onehit from more then 30 blocks... What's wrong with that?
    And remove the puch? No way! That's the best with the kit. If they are too close, then you shot them away and have a better chanse to one hit them.

    What's wrong wit it? Only look at this:

    Okay, so, CTF's instakill is getting removed, you don't have any say in that.
    The punch is just OP.. it makes it very hard to counter an archer..
    And your video.. yeah, stop advertising yourself without a reason, aaaaand an OP class doesn't make it a good class.

    I think the 1 heart of true damage over 2 seconds of time after the first 22.5+ block shot is no different than a normal headshot... Remove the DoT and I think that would be fair. 9 hearts is almost half of each class's health pool, so if you manage a headshot, that player will be useless to cap unless healed by a medic.

    BUTt in order to still give the satisfaction of pulling off a headshot... ASSISTS!!!! <<–––YES!
    ASsists should become a thing where if you deal 9 hearts of damage on a player, then you would get half of the kill when the player is finally (if ever) killed afterwards (0.5 for your kill/streak stats).

    And I think giving your target slowness I after pulling back your bow all the way is vital, but if punch II were to be removed, then I completely agree with:
    • "Gives Archer a feather if they land 2 shots in a row from 22 1/2 blocks or less. Feathers (OR SUGAR?!) are stack-able up to 2 and each one gives Speed I for 3 seconds."

    Has the same problem with the archer now, 22 blocks is nothing special, anybody that can right click a mouse can hit a shot 22 blocks away and 9 hearts of true damage is too much. If you really wanna fix archer remove damage over distance unless it is an actual distance like 40 blocks+ and just give it power 1 or 2 no punch.

    Impossible if you still want to call it an "archer" and otherwise not destroy its crucial role in the game.

    Okay, but doesn't solve much, especially if you're talking about applying that to this new archer. I do agree, 30 blocks (or 35 or whatever it is) is pretty short a lot of the time, but ten blocks does not make much of a difference when it comes to long-ranged instant kill. With this rework, sometimes you're going to need the clutch shots to be as effective as possible, so shorter distance is okay because it isn't an instant kill.

    That is literally four times worse than elf. And I am not one to go around abusing the term 'literally.'

    Honestly, Archer is fine with its instant kills. Delayed instant tho, I feel like this makes it so that it's very rare to get kills with archer anymore, instead of being able to headshot anything, you're simply a scavenger waiting for those heavies to finish fighting, let the enemy win, then pick him off

    It's not realistic to survive a now shot. You can kill a bear easy with a bow. Then it it not realistic that a little pixel person survive that.

    because falling down a 100+ castle and not taking falldmg as soldier is realistic, as if its realistic that someone can respawn an unlimited amount of times, as if its realistic to have round objects to teleport threw a world.

    Sprinting with speed 1 is the same speed as sprinting while jumping. Kinda useless for getting away. The only reason why you would want to have speed 1 is
    1. Helps with straffing (archer should not do this).
    2. Less hunger used (not a problem in ctf)
    3. Debatably helps with combos (ninja fills this role)

    Ever tried outrunning a chemist without a speed boost? They have speed 1.

    But I must say--
    --this is a pretty good note. It would give archer a fair pvp advantage for those who can already strafe fairly well, even if it's just a maximum of 6 seconds of it (2 feathers of 3 seconds of speed). Coming from the elf expert, I know landing two power-shots at close range is not very difficult, so some quick pvp advantage quite achievable.

    @Admiral_Munson not sure if you've already thought of this or not, or perhaps you don't even mind it being possible because it makes archer that much more pvp-oriented and killable. Your choice.

    I believe that it is a custom speed for chemist, but it appears as speed 1 because that is the default for Minecraft. Hard to tell though since 90% when you are fighting a chemist they give you slowness/posion, which slow you down.
