    Notice Board
Please do not ask MSW members for permission to spectate matches. We cannot speak for other reps and their wishes, so please ask both reps BEFORE matches. Referee consent will also be in play at all times if they wish. MSW can issue guest passes to those that wish to help out with things like commentating and related, but these passes are highly limited and will only be handed out to those that will add on to the quality of content covered by MSW. Passes are affected by the blacklist, referee preference, and refs/teams consent.

Team leaders/reps, you can always limit the amount of spectators that are in your matches if you wish. If you are bothered by the amount of spectators coming into your matches, then please feel free to pm your match referee and any concerns to gamren or MSW leaders/representatives. All we ask is that you may be thoughtful and fair if you do request to limit spectator numbers accordingly. Your match referee can also control the amount of spectators allowed.

If you have any questions, ideas, comments, or concerns, please feel free to message @gamren either in-game, on the forums, or on his skype/discord.

Our Analysts are making a great return for this weekends matches. Let's see how they play out!
[IMG] -BK vs TC: Considering BK hasn’t been that active, and TC always is active, I expect a very close match, and not exactly sure who will win. I am a bit biased, and hope BK wins, but I do expect to go to the third map. 2-1, 4-2, 2-1 BK

WT + ADV vs Defy + TBF: This looks like it will be a fun match, and I do hope it will be close. With these teams in the middle of the pack in terms of skill, I expect a good amount of turnarounds throughout the match. I would put up random numbers, but considering this is a co-op, it is hard to tell which side will get win maps and how. Overall, Defy + TBF win.

[IMG] - IN vs TR: 2-0 IN and DF vs TC: 2-1 TC

[IMG] - 2-1 DF to tc, I think tc will pick up blackout but that's it. 2-1 in vs tr, as much as I'd like to say otherwise, it is insurgence who beat tc and it is tr who is tr

[IMG] - BK 2-1 TC and WT + ADV 2-0 Defy + TBF

[IMG] - TC vs BK could go either way. 2-0 ADV + WT. 2-1 DF/TC and 2-1 IN/TRB

[IMG] - 2-0 df (DF vs TC). 2-0 INSG (INSG vs TRB)

Delta Force vs Annihilation by @Proterozoic
Annihilation haven't been too active as of late, and so I was pleasantly surprised when I first saw this match scheduled. The team never fails to deliver a truly entertaining game, just as Delta Force never fails to provide some incredible plays. However, even I was surprised about what happened in this match. The number of crazy and frankly fantastic plays was astounding. To all those reading this particular segment, I highly advise you to watch the match recording itself as it's well worth the time. Both teams brought some of their stronger and well known players, with @wintergreen3, @Miskey, @obikenobi21 and many more making appearances. This was also one of the first matches to make use of the newly allowed necro, and both teams decided to take advantage (though not for quite the reason you'd expect).

Map 1 was the choice of the Delta Force, whom chose Blackout. This map has a heavy offensive bias, suiting the Delta Force offensive powerhouses like @linkcookie. Link quickly made use of this, stealing using necro. Despite heavy resistance, this was passed through the bars to @wintergreen3 as an archer, who then proceeded to capture the first flag for Delta Force. This set the tone of the match, with multiple interesting steals from both sides, particularly Link with Necro (who continued on to capture as well). @Miskey, not wanting to be left out then decided to try his hand at Fashionista, to great success. Not only did he manage to kill @gamren multiple times using fireworks, but he did also manage to steal against the Delta Force defense. Unfortunately, he didn't quite manage to capture. With that said, being able to steal at all is still quite a feat. The ensuing hilarity almost began to distract the MSW team from the Delta Force domination. Despite a powerful defensive and offensive presence, Annihilation simply couldn't manage to hold off Delta Force. They quickly gained the upper and, and pressed this home to a 5-0 victory.

Map 2 was the choice of Annihilation, Airlock rework. This version had been reworked by the members of annihilation themselves, meaning they knew the map inside out and therebye had a considerable advantage. The casual atmosphere did however continue, this time with Annihilation choosing to bring 3 mages. This did slow Delta Force for a time, though it didn't completely stop them (this is why you impose mage limits against Annihilation!). Delta Force stayed strong (whilst of course using their own mage) and eventually overcome the disadvantage to convincingly win the second round 3-0 in their favour. Annihilation's offense played to the best of their ability but still ultimately couldn't crack the defense. This ended the map and the match solidly 2-0 in favour of Delta Force.

The player of the game had to go to @linkcookie for his fantastic necro steals and captures. With that said, everyone played a fantastic (and very entertaining) game. @Miskey deserves full credit for his fashionista skills, and you should definitely check them out (we got them all on video!)

    Final Scores:
    5-0 DF
    3-0 DF
    Overall: Delta Force Win!

The Crusaders vs Water Taste by @Cardona360

We start this match off with Water Taste's pick of Opposites Collide (original). The original version of this map is even more defense orientated than Opposites V, which could be good for WT. TC starts down a player; they must adapt to this and send a two man offense for the time being. Both offenses consist of the standard heavy-medic that is seen on Opposites V the majority of the time. The first 5 minutes go by with occasional steals and getting out of the flagroom, but flag carriers don't get much further than that. TC's 8th player, junebugulas, arrives a few minutes later; however, Dareos manages to escape the flagroom and head underground. With nobody ahead of him and the map being Opposites, he manages to get the first capture. TC switches up their offense (soldier/medic/chemist); although the lack of any heavies on offense is troubling, Arctic is boosted underground and is able to stall for the medic via wall climb. After receiving the full heal, she runs it across the map and TC gets their first capture. The rest of the game goes on with steals that don't end up getting anywhere. The map ends with 1-1.

The next map is TC's pick, Blackout. A few substitutions are made as the game begins. Arctic steals after a couple of minutes, managing to outrun WT defense. She was about to get the medic, but kamil manages to headshot. Unfortunately for WT, choco picks up and eventually gets the medic capture. 4 more minutes go by, and Arctic has a good steal going down mid. Opposition from the pyro and ninja does slow arc down, but she's able to run to spawn and get assistance to secure a second capture. Kevshadowslayer moves up to duel the defensive archer kamil. He secures a headshot, allowing Arctic to get very far. She is stopped by arkham and fire damage from the pyro. WT has been stealing, but to no avail. One offensive wave later, Arctic steals and gets out of kamil's range. She's able to obtain a full heal and grab another capture for TC. Avetis switches from soldier to elf offense, allowing him to get further due to reflecting kev's arrows. He is still stopped by TC's defense, however. Arctic manages another steal (thanks to pyro elimination from ninja); she gets past a ninja gauntlet on the bridge and receives the full heal. Kamil gets headshot by kev, leading to the 4th TC capture. Not too long after, Arctic steals again and gets boosted up mid. With little to nothing on her across the map, she gets to TC spawn and gets the medic. Avetis steals as assassin and darts towards the sponge. He gets rather far, but is soon confronted by a ninja. Arctic captures the flag, leading to a 5-0 for TC. The game ends, as there is no way for WT to obtain enough captures at this point.

    Final Scores:
    1-1 Tie
    5-0 TC
    Overall: The Crusaders Win!

The Blue Flaggers vs Totally Not Solar Eclipse

Prematch Interview with @Snowbreak by @Godman
[IMG] - So, TNSE is known for their use of soldier offense, how will TBF counter that since they also are known for being good with soldier?

[IMG] -We tend to be able to counter soldier in multiple ways, from roaming defense to archer headshots and so forth, like most teams tend to be able to do. A sturdy pyro can handle 1-2 soldiers in the flagroom if they are decent enough. If it really gets to be an issue we can always earth spam the living daylights out of them... with our multiple players that play elf

[IMG] - Who is TBF most worried about on both the offensive and defensive side?

[IMG] -I'd say if we're looking out for any players on the TNSE side it would be Dan's offense and Trego and Crazy's defense, if they show up. The three of them came to TNSE from Supernova, a very powerful team at its peak and it shows with their abilities. Trego as pyro was able to withstand a team like RR's offense, and Crazy can destroy as ninja on a good day. Dan has some unpredictable capping routes on offense too.

[IMG] - Since both teams know Blackout well, will there be any change in strategy?

[IMG] - I doubt it, we'll just play blackout how we normally do. We do have some interesting plans for future matches though, unused before, I'm unsure if we'll bring them out against TNSE or not, you'll have to watch to see if we do.

[IMG] - Alrighty so last question, is there any teams TBF is hoping to face in the future?

    [IMG] - BK.

[IMG] - Thanks for the interview, good luck on the match against TNSE.

[IMG] - Thank you Godman156, it was a pleasure being here.

Both sides played well, but ultimately TBF was victorious over TNSE. Unfortunately, this was the last match before TNSE sadly disbanded. Most of these players have now found new homes in some of our existing and new teams. We wish them all the best ~Proterozoic

    0-0 Tie

    MSW Staffer of the week(?)
This week's MSW staff is @hamzacx. One of our staff that works heavily behind the scenes, you won't always see the effort that he puts into making sure recorders, writers and commentators are able to perform their roles correctly. It's a big job to put out a thread like this, and he makes the job a lot easier by performing roles which would otherwise distract us from getting the job done. Thanks @hamzacx, your work hasn't gone unnoticed!
