False Bans Are A Serious Problem

This thread will be about both my problems with the brawl staff and the general issues with brawls ban and appeal systems. My motivation for writing this is mainly my reputation in the community as a cheater and the fact that I’m currently banned.

I’ll start out with this, over a period of about 9 months, (late 2016 - June 2017 ban wipe) I became one of the best pvpers on the server because I was autoclicking. I never used an actual client. After the ban wipe I knew I couldn’t keep autoclicking on brawl or I would be rebanned. I stopped autoclicking and have been working on pvping without one since then. I’m definitely better at the game today than I am back when I autoclicked. I think it’s important to note that now I play on servers with all the best anticheats (Badlion, Arcane, Velt, MMC, Zonix, Valux, Lounge) and I am only banned on brawl. On to more relevant information.

The appeal system does not work. If a player says that they are falsely banned, their appeal will be denied. Even if they included a video of them not hacking, the appeal could still get denied. A few months ago I was banned on the account Insult and my appeal was denied by @TheZombieKat, even with the video showing that I was not hacking. I had to send a group pm to all the smods to get the account unbanned. The main suggestion I have is not letting the mod that banned the player deal with their appeal. Mods don’t want false bans on their record and are much more likely to deny appeals for their own bans. Other than that, if there is a chance that the banned player is legit they have to be unbanned. Guilty until proven innocent is asking for false bans.

If a mod gets comboed by a player they do not know, that player will get banned. Chances are that player is not recording, and they will stay perm banned. I’m not far above average on a potpvp server. None of the thousands of players that are better than me can play on brawl without getting banned. Mods need to get their **** together and learn to tell the difference between a really good player and a cheater. More importantly, mods need to realize that at a certain point it is impossible to make a distinction between the two. It is impossible to tell if a player had good aim or is using aim assist by watching them fight. The only way to detect something like that is with a recording of their perspective, a strong anticheat, or a screenshare. Brawl Mods think they’re some gifted minecraft cheat detectors when they can’t tell the difference between an average potpvp player and a closet cheater.

And it’s finally time for the videos. 10 recorded false bans by multiple mods for a variety of reasons. Shout out to Kevshadowslayer for banning one of the accounts for Reach / Toggled after comboing me. Shout out to Jayog for banning me for Aimbot // KB Modifiers when my aim was painfully bad. Shout out to the idiot that banned me for speed hacking when I was not speed hacking. Last but not least Purest for the kill aura after a minute in the lobby.

I have accounts banned for KB Modifiers / AimAssist and Aim Assist / Reach. This is proof that I can reproduce those hits and movements when I am clearly not cheating.
