EDIT: nvm I was wrong about poison pots; they do not reduce healing.

 

no I think @Versions and @Admiral_Mas0n are just wrong. idk why they said poison reduces healing

 

Perhaps they were referring to an item from a class already in the game to fulfill this role. I wouldn't mind Chemist having the ability to do this btw

i didn't. as @Cardona360 said i was referring to chemist poison, which is a similar effect already in the game

 

Wither poison would be cool for something. Make it halve the healing potential of stuff, idk just spitballin

I think healing block is a good idea, and personally i think it could be used in an assassin rework idea where instead of instakilling people, it disables all healing (including steak) briefly, paired with a sort of true damage or damage boosting ability and its original speed abilities, it could perform all its current roles and become even better on stalemates and coordinated defenses.
