I'm disappointed by how this new revamp has turned out

What? There is certainly a way to find a balance using WarZ mechanics and Wild West strategy. For example: making guns do less damage, but adding combos (makes fight take more time, emphasizes team play as you should be working together to kill one person, lets WarZ players use a familiar mechanic).

Of course it doesn't guarantee 30. But when WarZ has been on a steady decline along with Wild West there clearly needs a change, and Wild West had the most potential out of the two gamemodes, and this is coming from a WarZ player.

 

But this doesn't mean that merging them is the right decision. Yes, change was needed for sure, but cutting and pasting two different servers like a collage is something that doesn't make much sense to me.

Like I said in my original post here, you can kind of apply the zero produce property to this. Putting 2 servers that are hurting together doesn't mean that they will be better now. There are clear distinctions between each server, and people play them for different reasons. As verlyn stated you'd be lucky to see half of the playerbase carry over.

 

And no one wants to wait for you to find that "balance". The gamemode will be dead well before you can come up with an applicable solution. You should have found a way to balance the gamemode well before you even contemplated putting the project into motion. If there was actual preparation for the gamemode, I'd be willing to bet you'd be getting less than half of the complaints you're currently getting.

Yeah, add combos so the majority of the Wild West players will lose all of their gear and quit before they get good enough to fight competitively. Furthermore, you'd basically be forcing Wild West players to play WarZ.

That's not an excuse to ditch WarZ. The new gamemode is basically Wild West with a WarZ map and food (which is apparently obsolete compared to potions). You've pissed off your biggest source of income, great job.

Combos weren't the reason new WarZ players were getting trashed on. The reason was because there was no apt tutorial system that taught combos to new players. By 2018 it was far too late to add one.

I don't understand all of you. You never played WarZ nor understood its situation. The WarZ players hated the merge at first, then a lot of us adapted and started suggesting ways to make the new gamemode better. We still would prefer old WarZ back, but that gamemode was going nowhere.

Besides, the WarZ community only created problems for the network. Honestly, killing it off is probably healthier for the server in general. And before you say, "BUT MUH INCOME HURR," WarZ was not making nearly as much revenue as it was before. I really don't know why you're talking about the funds as if you have access to them.

Last post on this discussion, it's like talking to a brick wall.

Same could be said for you, because you incessantly whine about things you don't understand.

 

Wild West received 1+ year(s) worth of feedback and there was still never any balance. What you've done is force WarZ players to play Wild West, while giving Wild West a new map and some random **** from WarZ. We've tried to balance Wild West, but nothing happened, which caused many players (including myself) to lose interest. In time, players from both communities will lose interest and Wild West will be a deadzone again.

And there are plenty of people dissatisfied with the server, including the ~85 people listed by the OG. Even worse, there's still an existing sense of hype to the gamemode. It's only been three days and you're barely exceeding Wild West's player-count before the merge. The hype will die down, and people will leave with it. I don't see this "gamemode" going anywhere either.

You’re lying. Player history for your original account says your first login on the entire network was mid-2014, not to mention you were nowhere near relevant until 2016.

You do realize that just because it says 2014 does not mean they did not join before. The date that you see (it could be a different date but it's around that time) is the first date that the database started recording people's activity.

I'm not looking to get into the arugment, but I just want to state that everytime I have gotten on the server since it was updated, WarZ has had more players then Wild West and old WarZ did combined before the elite giveaway.

 

No, the server starting tracking logins in late 2013 which is why most old players have the same starting date. I wouldn’t have called him out if I wasn’t sure I was correct.

 

You weren't correct when you said he started playing WarZ in 2016.

The dates are irrelevant anyways. I have the data that says WarZ was the biggest source of income after global perks/ranks. You've pissed off the WarZ community. I don't have to be a genius to figure out that there will be a net loss in revenue. You can choose to ignore unvarnished facts if you want, it really doesn't concern me.
