Appreciation Post... If you were leaving, what would you say?

So... If you were making an outro post and had one last good chance to leave some shout-outs on Brawl, what would they say? Leave some love for our fam below.


I started to draft my real outro for the server but realized midway through that I still enjoy stalking the forums too much to leave... But I would really still like to pass along some messages, just in case.

My list is miles long so I'm only posting chunks at a time.

I first joined MCPVP in 2014, was adopted by Defiance & the McBuild community. Somehow I went from merc to leader of Majestic, and with the MCPVP refugees in 2015 we reassembled on Brawl. The Brawl Build Team ascended. Staff, CTF teams, map waves, and game modes have come and gone and continue to cycle... And somehow I'm still here. Barely, but here.

@ak47theapple I know you're inactive on here, but thank you for adopting me into the ridiculous Defiance family, @bananapieHD, @dukeisawesome12, @Jul13n , @Z_Hobo , @tvisthebomb , @bananashoes, @gingurr, and the whole 2014 roster fam. Mad shout-out to @Mehgur and @BrandinoB for memeing it up in Skype calls.

@BrandinoB - you were one of the first people who I sat and had convos with online, you're a good listener and I'm glad you're still around.

@Signifies ... @Godman dragged me into a call with you, ohh myyyy looooord I remember the giggly ****fest that was our first call. Good times lol, you and godman were the unholiest assassin pair to reckon with. Glad we're friends tbh, you're a solid person when you're not busy raging at CTF crap. +1

@Miskey - thanks for putting up with my occasional fits, lmao... I remember you vividly when I first came to MCPVP. All I wanted to do was buy necro and level up my mobs, and you had a solid necro guide posted in the CTF guides section thank you. And then I got rejected from Anni because I was a nub randie and I resented annihilation for a while... But it's all good xdddd I was also jealous of the YTS clan and all that media hype. #bringbackclans. Thanks for all the times you've helped me, maps or otherwise. You're an MCPVP legend, memes and all.

@Mhrrrlin Ayy girl. Idk if you still play on here at all, but you and ES lured me into Majestic and I found out that the ping-impaired Aussie CTF late night community was the one for me Sorry I was a jerk when team things were going on, I love ya and hope real life things are going great for you.

@Legolover - did we meet on build or some other game mode? I miss seeing you around, and hope you're doing well. Good times on Build with @kazwolfe.

Also, @EddKrumbs, I still have all of the screenshots of the atrocities you and lego built. Lmao. Y'all need Jesus. Edd, thank you for teaching me //stack for mapbuilding. I think that was my first worldedit lesson. <3

@ikemulti I think you were the first build mod I met. Thanks for memeing around and showing us all the cool tips and tricks and whatnot. I remember the noise command blocks scaring the crap out of me, and command block buttons that teleported pacificfils around lol.

@xxMineSheepxx I think our first longer-term interaction was making pixel art on derpland. You've come so far since that pixel art panda :') I'm so proud. Thanks for being my partner in crime on a lot of projects. Even if it was just your floating afk mc body 70% of the time, you made me feel less lonely on projects xD
I wish you well on your continued work and projects here at Brawl.

Yeah, which is basically what I'm trying to avoid doing. Literally everyone does this. I just want to do the tagging and stories without the goodbye/eff-this-server fallout.


Yo, Majestic tho. My sleep schedule got so screwed up from an overnight job that 12p-7a EST were my main playing time.

@asplshofcitrus SPLSHY! You were and are still always a ray of sunshine whenever I see you online. As a player you were always helpful in game, and outside of the game you're a great listener and a beacon of positivity. Thank you for being this way.
(*And you still had a savage backhand that you would pull out when @Signifies needed to put in check. That was invaluable.)

@Jilin oh my LOOOOORD. I think young, unrestrained, heavy-accented earspam Jin was my first impression of Majestic. Lmao. You kind of fell into place as the team mascot, a Majestic without you would've just been too normal. Thank you for your dedication, your wonderful works of art, and your stories about meeting strange people on the street and epic battles at home and school. Deps, our second adopted MJT mascot. What the hell kind of 12 year old writes that kind of stuff? Lmao. I thought your rants and tangents were brilliant, you always have a wonderful way with worlds. Keep being you. Bring your cleverness and linguistic hilarity into adulthood for me. The world needs more of it.

@Forever_Artemis Majestic Mom. You were the glue that held the team in place when I first joined. I remember your love of cacti and your fantastic artistic skills. I really hope you're still creating artwork, you have a true talent there. That, and thanks for being a wonderful team leader. You invested your heart into it while you were there, and were dearly missed from the moment you stepped away.

@_SpookyAF khaycee... Baecee. You were such a cool/chill person to hang around, and i remember you being a great ninja as well.

I just remembered how female MJT was. I think our team might've had the highest concentration of chicks in comparison to other CTF teams. It was also super gay in there.

@Derpy_Jazz Ayy fam. Thanks for being a chill person and someone great to lean on. You're always a team player in and out of game and hella supportive of the people around you. Thanks for being so awesome. The vid calls were a blast, I'm glad to have met you in the Aussie crew.

@blackfurrykitty Hey girl. You were the first CTFer I met irl. Like, when I first met you in game my first impression was that you were kind of an ass in chat, but after getting into some Skype calls I found out you were friendly, always down to talk without hesitation, and one of the least shy people of the community. You're incredibly loyal to those around you and have a wonderful mind for game strategy. I'm so glad I met you. Your ability to push through tough times and pick yourself back up really inspires me. Keep doing what you're doing. P.s.- you were one hell of a chemist, chem+medic team kill sprees with you were ridiculously fun. Also I need to leave my apartment again eventually and hang out. I'm a horrible friend.

@wintergreen3 Hey! I've always really admired you. I think it might've been b0s that got me into a call with you the first time? It's been a long time, but you're fun to hang out with and when you're able to get online you've been a solid pillar of the community. I love your periodic posts reflecting on the passage of time. Thank you for your service 'round these parts, and for having more patience than 90% of people on this server. You keep being your awesome chill self, and keep murdering us with those archer skills.
Oh, I also still have vid somewhere of your arrows spazzing out and boomeranging back at you. That was hilarious.

@Birdgirl ... My hero. Like legit, when I first joined the you were the person I thought the highest of in the entire community. Great at building, could play the game, very kind to new people, and an honest/strong individual who could think for theirself <3 I remember you and Nom logging in together and just killing it in game as an offensive capping team. I'm so glad you let me pester you into friendship. Thank you for your guidance and the great times chatting and building and CTFing. You've left legacy behind, thank you for your service. I hope all is going well for you these days. If you ever wanna connect on irl social media hit me up.

@DeZilla Another legend. Seems like you've been around since the dawn of MCPVP. For a dank memes, youre freaking brilliant. I don't think I've met anyone who could punch holes into crappy coding as fast as you did. And your building concepts, though sometimes unorthodox, are so freaking creative and solid. You're so good at stuff. Like, even though you just pop up sporadically, you show up with straight up revolutionary things. "Oh hey guys btw I got bored and coded zones from scratch come play." "I figured out how to draw on everyone's plots in Brawl Creative servers lol, watch this kid get confused." "Here's a taco Bell resource pack." "Here, I made a command block that disables staff lol." Lmao dude. And you do this **** with an experimenting attitude with maybe a bit of mild trolling, not actually maliciously. Because you know better than to get your own ass banned lmao...
I learned about you because originally the only heads/enchanted objects on the Build server had to be obtained by a Mod... But somehow this "DeZ" person's name was on a "pooterfish" thing I got on the Build black market. "Who is DeZilla? He has CTF maps?!" Xddddddddd
You keep doing you. I hope you find a way to profit from your experimental brilliance someday.

@Ducksfan101 I'm blanking on how we actually started talking. Was it from you/us being mercs and just ending up in calls together? You were always a solid Soldier in game, and I think we ended up in calls and I would medic, and then you got interested in building map stuff and we ended spending more time bonding together on the Build server. And trolling the nubs. And trying to record our crappy vids together. Lol. I think this past map wave was the most time we've spent together on the server in a long time, and it brought me back. You've matured a whole lot over the past few years but still have some of your attitudinal spice, I like it. I'm glad we became friends, hanging out has been really fun, and a massive congrats on getting an original map into rotation! That's a tough accomplishment, great job! I hope yo continue seeing you around the server. Everyone gets busy with school and life and whatnot, but you're a solid Reg around these parts.
