[Official] Delta Force vs The Crusaders [23/9]
d8c2c5b1-738b-4f15-a5e2-4fa4546f6482 Wrathburn_: 3-1 DF 5-0 DF - If DF brings a strong roster, consisting of some newer additions like Doggoes and Nvidia, this match will legit not even be close, I've seen some results from a scrimmage between those too and TC had some of their best players playing in it. Not just offense got an upgrade tho, Gam made his comeback and upgrades DF defense yet again, TC wont enjoy it at all. In short, DF stomp
620720cc-ffba-485d-aa24-992c42597213 Foodcourt: 2-1 DF, 5-1 TC, 1-0 DF - Matchup featuring two very good teams, TC’s strong communication and map choice will definitely help, but DF’s new additions will prove to be too much.
1e223501-fb25-4e1f-aec9-0fa4d1731794 Kashyyyk: 2-0 DF 4-1 DF - Although TC has recently beaten the blue flaggers, TBF are **** as **** at the moment but are supposedly making a comeback. DF lost to the blue flaggers recently, but that was before they went to ****. Along with this, DF has made strides in practice recently and recruitment, while on TC side puhdgy has become a defensive medic...In conclusion, it will be (i do not know the maps) 2-0 DF 4-1 DF. If gam shows up, i am looking forward to his comeback against the wall spam menaces.
    82cef86c-368e-4333-b004-67e92fb12fcc Netflikx: 3-2 TC, 5-4 TC
DF's new members are not efficient communicators and probably won't be able to properly perform their roles without someone someone telling them what to do, which is not how things role in df matches. TC's communication will give them an advantage that will make up for their inferior pvp skill.

[Official] Water Taste vs No Name Yet [6/10]
d8c2c5b1-738b-4f15-a5e2-4fa4546f6482 Wrathburn_: 2-3 NNY 1-0 WT 2-0 WT - WT benefits from Archer maps against NNY, NNY doesn't really have a good archer to compete against Deppucino/Chaos.
d41eb797-e87e-490a-9b77-c752a05a7517 Cardona360: 2-1 WT 2-0 WT - Both lack powerful offenses, the maps will likely last the full time
620720cc-ffba-485d-aa24-992c42597213 Foodcourt: 3-1 WT 2-1 NNY 1-0 NNY - Both teams will bring very strong defenses and will make this match very close. Due to a lack of offense players on Water Taste’s side, NNY should be able to win their first official match.
    5d3e5194-967d-4d18-ab50-d6793db5ea18 Keelb00: 3-1 WT 3-2 WT
These teams seem quite well matched skill-wise, but the collective experience of Water Taste from their various teams should mean they are well organised enough to beat NNY.

[Official] Annihilation vs The Blue Flaggers [6/10]
d8c2c5b1-738b-4f15-a5e2-4fa4546f6482 Wrathburn_: 2-1 TBF 3-2 Anni 2-0 TBF - Both teams are rusty in 1 way, with Anni lacking someone who can properly support and clear TBF defense and TBF not having matches for a long time. There's a chance that Brandino and Ace will 1v1 again and try to compete with each other, but Bran hasn't played in a while where as Ace has.
d41eb797-e87e-490a-9b77-c752a05a7517 Cardona360: 3-2 Anni 3-1 TBF 1-1 Tie (TBF Win) - Should TBF play 915 their offense will be able to counter Anni's defense well. Since Ace can fight Brandino very well, both teams will lack a significant advantage in archer besides Anni on recovery
5d3e5194-967d-4d18-ab50-d6793db5ea18 Keelb00: 3-1 Anni 1-0 TBF 3-0 Anni - I think the match will generally be close, but Anni has more flexibility and depth in their roster whereas TBF relies more on a few star players who Anni can find ways to counter.

[Official] Annihilation vs The Templars [7/10]
d8c2c5b1-738b-4f15-a5e2-4fa4546f6482 Wrathburn_: 3-0 TT 5-2 TT - TT can flex pretty well regardless of who plays for them, Anni has set roles/positions.
    d41eb797-e87e-490a-9b77-c752a05a7517 Cardona360: 3-0 TT 1-0 Anni 2-0 TT
    620720cc-ffba-485d-aa24-992c42597213 Foodcourt: 3-0 TT 3-1 TT
TT always performs well, and should get the job done regardless of their roster.
    5d3e5194-967d-4d18-ab50-d6793db5ea18 Keelb00: 3-1 TT 3-1 TT
Perhaps with more practice on Anni's side, this match could be closer but at the moment Anni is much more inexperienced than TT, who is always solid

[Official] Annihilation vs The Blue Flaggers

Prematch Interview with @Miskey and @ningeek212 by @Cardona350

Cardona - Today we've got a dual interview between Miskey and ningeek212, both being council members of Annihilation (Miskey leading the team). First off I hope you both are having a swell day! Getting right to the interview, this upcoming Saturday would be the very first time The Blue Flaggers (v4) and Annihilation have a 1on1 official match. Previously co-op partners in an excellent match against TC/Galvanize, you both have players that clash well with each other, but now you're put against them. The match size will likely be an 8vs8, how does Annihilation personally feel about this size/class limits, being a format they do not participate in often?

Miskey - I think 8v8 generally restricts gameplay and forces you into a fairly strict meta of class picks, however we don't plan to let that stop us. Many players on the team such as myself and stq can play many roles and aren't afraid to do so if necessary. At the moment I believe we have an extremely strong roster, the smaller the match size the more one of those players can potentially carry the game.

Ningeek - From my experience we actually do best with 8v8s since we have multiple players that can play multiple roles, as Miskey stated. As for the class limits that's never been a worry of mine, annihilation likes to try out various tactics, like our TJ match using engineer.

Cardona - Those are both very valid points. Speaking of stq and strong rosters, both teams have had some new additions to their rosters lately, many of which provided more power behind specific roles that these two teams were somewhat lacking respectively. How do you feel about these new recruits and their impact on Saturday's match?

Ningeek - I definitely think it'll impact the match, at least on annihilations side. We had a few people from our active roster leave, but at the same time many joined that active roster, specifically defensive pvp mains. I think that locks in our defense, and we're hoping to get some practice with that new roster at a scrim this Friday.

Miskey - We will be running our full starting roster against TBF aside from our pyro. With our new pickups there shouldn't be a class in the game that we can't play to the highest level. Two of our new players, Stq and Fridge, should have a major impact on defense, with one playing very aggressive and the other more calculated. We recently moved Pixel back onto our roster from seasonal member as well, so keep your eye out for him on multiple roles.

Cardona - Sounds solid, knowing TBF will run some of their best players as well will make this match-up intense and interesting to watch. Moving right along with TBF's best players, how are you feeling about some of their most potential individuals? The ones that may be a thorn in your side and threaten the victory the most ^

Ningeek - I'm personally worried about three specific players: Invidus, spades, and nlog. Of course this is coming from the medic, so those are the people I see most often. In general, I would only add 915 to that list for obvious reasons.

Miskey - I've heard some mention from players outside our team that 915 may be a potential problem for us, but I disagree. I think what we plan to run directly counters his playstyle and will make him a liability for the other team. Aside from that, their defense is generally strong, Ace/Spades/Invidus specifically, but that's where Brandino and Pixel come in.

Cardona - It's good to see you guys have a general idea of what threats to assess. Currently, it is unbeknownst to me which maps will be used for this match, although I have a general idea of which ones TBF and Anni will pick. Specifically, how do you guys feel about Anni's pick (Blackout or Airlock I) and the Agreed map?

Miskey - I wholeheartedly believe that we are the best team in the game on blackout, but that doesn't mean TBF is weak on the map. We're both teams that know how and when to ninja cap against good teams, so that's something we both have to look out for. The pace of the map will likely be determined by which archer takes top control first, and I think that Brandino will do so. Blackout is a map that Austin and I are extremely consistent on as well.

Ningeek - I'm pretty worried about divergent strike. I do think that map favors tbf, as they have more experience on it. I'm not overly worried about our defense, I think we can stop most caps, but my fear is our offense. I think we do best on open maps, but divergent strike is certainly not open.

Cardona - Interesting viewpoints. Finally I wanted to ask you guys about your opinion on potential stalemates against TBF, mainly on a map like Divergent Strike. How do you feel, in general, about stalemates in this situation? TBF have history of being able to play a stalemate well.

Miskey - Divergent strike is a map that favors pvp advantage in a stalemate. I think it's fair to say that we have slightly better pvpers than TBF, which should give us a slight advantage there. TBF also has a history of having low armor classes steal the flag on that map, elf and medic to be specific. I wouldn't expect either of those classes to last long with the flag against our ninjas. I'll likely be the one holding the flag in a stalemate on our side and I'm very confident that I can outlast my opposition, regardless of who on TBF it is.

Ningeek - Stalemates on a map like divergent strike are quite hard to recover on. To be honest, if it comes to a stalemate. it'll be at a stalemate for a good chunk of the match. However, I don't believe there will be a stalemate.

Cardona - That would mark the end of my questions, would you both have anything else to add before this concludes?

Miskey - I was told that every analyst that has weighed in on the match so far has voted in favor of TBF winning the match. I don't agree in the slightest. I expect a clean 8-0 in favor of Annihilation.

Ningeek - To address the same thing, I don't think it will be a 8-0, however, I do think with blackout as our map pick, that'll help us very much. I'm personally thinking 8-4 in favor of us (something like 5-2 1-2 2-0)

Cardona - Alrighty, good luck in your match!

    [Official] Annihilation vs The Templars
    By @Keelb00

Prematch Interview with @Miskey and @Enchhillada by @Cardona360

Cardona - Hello stq, Miskey, thank you for this dual interview opportunity. You both being members of Annihilation will be playing in a match against The Templars this weekend. TT has always been known for being a top-notch team, having good power and coordination, even when they are inactive. Going into this match, The Templars will obviously be less rusty than normal due to their recent activity; how confident are you both coming in to this matchup?

    STQ - Pretty confident.

Miskey - Out of every current team I think we have the best shot at taking down TT.

Cardona - I can agree, Anni definitely has the composition to give TT a run for their money. This match happens to be a rematch between the teams, as Annihilation had to leave early for the previous match. I have no doubts that you'll be coming into this rematch under maximum circumstances; however, Pagodas and TT are a scary combination. Is there anything you guys plan to improve on compared to last time?

STQ - I can't really speak for improvements given I wasn't there for the last TT v Anni match, however this one we'll try not to leave (': We have a better roster for this match, should be more competitive.

Miskey - We're having a scrim tomorrow where the main focus will be strategy development on pagodas. I'm extremely confident in our own map pick and I'm certain we can take this match 2-0 if we upset them on pagodas.

Cardona - Ah yes, the extra practice can surely help the outcome sway in your favor. While TT has good members all around, which ones do you feel will be the most threatening? Which matchups (player v player) will you plan on making to counter these specific players?

Miskey - Imo the two players we need to shut down for us to take the match are going to be Participated and November. Matt offers so much to TT and shutting him down early will stem their communication. Participated is by far their best capper in recent matches and is an all around solid player, pressuring him correctly will be key. In regard to specific matchups the one I'm most interested in seeing is myself vs. LeDoener. I think people give him too much credit as a Pyro and I'm more than ready to show that he's the weakest link in TT's starting roster.

STQ - Fridge and I will do what we do best, kill the medic, move on from there. If the medic dies, that makes everybody else's job on the offense harder. Even if they protect the medic with a heavy or a soldier, we'll deal with it. I don't think him and I are worried about any particular player.

Cardona - Interesting and valid viewpoints indeed. This also brings up another point, Annihilation's historical tendency to use unorthodox strategies during their matches. This style often throws off teams who stick to the hardcore basics such as PVP and heavies/soldiers, but TT has shown strength regardless in past scenarios such as the 2018 MCCTF Teams Tournament. Do you plan to deviate from these strategies, and on that note will you plan on using the "1 ninja cap per map" rule to its fullest?

Miskey - One of the unorthodox strategies we use is having a Mage almost permanently. This strategy has only been countered once, and that was by Scorch, with fridge being the player to do it. He is now on our roster. We don't plan on dropping the Mage until teams figure out how to counter it, which at this pace won't be for a while. Secondly, from what I can recall a good number of the caps we've gotten against TT in the past were ninja caps. We have no shortage of ninja players and that's something we definitely plan to utilize when necessary. We have some pretty interesting start of the map ninja strats that we've only showed vs one team before, and they seemed to have gone unnoticed, just keep your eye out for some cheese.

STQ - I'm sure the community knows Anni isn't particularly lacking ninja mains that can ninja cap if and when we need, so if we need it, we'll get it done. As for strategy, who knows. Mage is one of our unique strengths with Austin. I've yet to see somebody other than fridge take care of Austin properly so until then, we'll run mage all we want.

Cardona - Hmmm, sounds neat. On a final note, piercing TT's defense has never been an easy task for any team; it is very rare a team can end maps on TT with the full 3/5 caps on the board. Annihilation's offense is pretty strong, but it will still be a difficult task regardless, especially during stalemates. Should TT's defense be a tough nut to crack, do you guys have a backup plan? How about during stalemates against powerful roaming ninjas and soldier recovery?

STQ - We should win the stalemates, as pvp-wise I think we're better. Our support will be able to deal with the ninjas, if need be somebody on recovery can go to support or deal with the soldiers/ninjas coming in on the carrier.

Miskey - As an offense we have a lot more depth than I think people realize, and we're comfortable with any of us on almost any of the offensive roles. I'll list a few classes some of us are comfortable on that people probably don't realize. Ningeek is still a solid soldier player, Pixel is one of the best chemist players in the game, Squan is an old ninja main, and I can flex to any class we need and play it to at least a pretty high level. In the last two matches I've played soldier, heavy, chemist, ninja, elf, and medic. Expect constant offensive swaps from us.(edited)

Cardona - Sounds like you guys have this all planned out very well. Any final notes before we wrap this up?

Miskey - I'd like to take a moment to publicly challenge DF to a match. After TC beat them last week I threw some banter their way. I was told by a few people not to talk trash until we beat them. They've turned the last 2 officials we've had into scrims and don't seem to want to schedule a match with us at any time despite me asking every week. If you're a member of DF and you're reading this, we'd love to have a match with you .

Cardona - Alrighty then, thank you for your time and good luck this weekend!

Annihilation versus The Templars (TT) promised to be an exciting match and certainly delivered on that promise, with the match being much closer than many had predicted. TT just manage to edge out Annihilation in the final minutes of the match, but promise is shown by Annihilation with perhaps a hint of instability on the side of TT.

The match started with a bang on Blackout, with TT having a strong offensive push leaving Raging_ (Soldier) with the flag and Annihilation having a few failed attempts before Magnificent (Ninja) was able to steal amidst the chaos and pass to Sprae (Soldier), resulting in an early stalemate which lasted for a fair while before Annihilation were able to recover. However, before Annihilation were able to capture, Participated (Soldier) stole the flag and died just in time for Raging_ to pick it up and continue the stalemate.

There are a few close attempts to a recovery, with both teams having very strong archers, but ultimately the teams are just too well rehearsed on such a common map that they know how to counter all recovery attempts. Blackout finishes without either team capturing.

Raging_ gets another strong steal on Pagodas at the beginning but unfortunately eeyore6 (Medic) dies just before the restore would have come and he is eventually chipped down. A few minutes later Miskey (Soldier) gets a steal with a lot of support and makes it quite far, but his support is killed as he tries not to be knocked off the map and he is then overwhelmed.

Although many would have expected Pagodas to be quite favourable to TT, considering it has been their staple pick for many years, Annihilation perform quite well and potentially even look stronger than TT for a lot of the map. One noticeable difference was that TT were frequently able to keep their medic alive all the way to the flagroom, whereas Annihilation had a lot of steals where the flagcarrier would have little support. It was this difference in offence that allowed Raging_ to get the first and only capture on this map, while Miskey was unable to make it on to his team’s side of the map, despite impressive steals. Pagodas finishes 1-0 in TT’s favour.

The agreed map is Airlock I after a lengthy pause due to technical issues. Both teams consistently steal, but fail to make it out of the flagroom for the first 5 minutes of the map. Miskey (Ninja) manages to get out and pearl down the side tunnel before handing off to ningeek212(Medic), who completes the capture. Annihilation maintains the 1 cap lead until there is less than 10 minutes remaining, and it feels as if they will close out the map; TT are losing co-ordination and seem out of sorts.

With only 5 minutes left TT decides to switch up their offence, running double heavies and double medics, with occasional support from November (Ninja). This is perhaps where we see the flexibility of TT begin to outclass Anni; the tanky offence is not intimidated by aefrogdog’s Mage or fridge’s Ninja, and Anni has little time or ability to adjust as their players do not have the ability to play multiple classes like TT’s do. Raging_ (Heavy) captures with plenty of support to tie up the map and put Anni on the back foot.

This offence proves too strong for Annihilation’s defence and steals cleanly again, with pixelmonlover (Soldier) managing a counter-steal. A brief stalemate ensues before Pizze (Archer) headshots 3 members of Annihilation and Azol (Assassin) claims the recovery. TT’s deathball offence claims a third cap in the dying minutes of the map, sealing Airlock 3-1 and claiming the match 2-0.

Player of the game went to Raging_ for being incredibly solid as TT’s main capper, but an honourable mention should also be given to Miskey here. Recently, all teams but one have struggled with having a lack of genuine cappers, so it has fallen to players like Raging_ and Miskey to serve this purpose despite both players traditionally playing a variety of classes. In this match however, both of these players made exceptional steals and survived incredibly long faced against some very skilled defence.

The match was considerably closer than the scoreline might suggest and it could definitely be argued that Annihilation looked to be the stronger team until just 5 minutes remaining on the final map. Annihilation looked considerably stronger than many expected them to and are definitely looking like a top-tier team despite some recent roster changes. TT looked less well-oiled than usual, but their versatility gave them the victory in the end.

Final Scores: 0-0 Tie 1-0 TT 3-1 TT
    Overall: TT Win! PotG @Raging_

[Official] Delta Force vs The Crusaders
Article written by @auromelt (FIRST EVER ARTICLE)

Coming into this official match, both teams were looking really strong. DF was showing off a new and improved roster, with pickups such as Kayrex, IBuySocks and Doggies. TC had their usual roster, with players such as ghenry, Swit2427 and RaZeragon.

This meant that there was possibly a slight advantage on TC’s side, as the new members on DF were not expected to be particularly coordinated with the rest of the team.

On Valley of Ruin original, DF’s pick, a heavily defensive-based map, we were expecting to see few captures (if any) from either side. We saw DF running a strong roaming defense, with one ninja (occasionally two when gamren came to help) and a soldier, which proved to be effective as they were consistently able to break up TC’s offense and effectively target and pick off the medic or one of the soldiers. DF’s core defense saw Mhurdock as pyro and IBuySocks as heavy, both playing high damage output classes. This defense coupled with wintergreen3 on archer meant that DF had an extremely solid defense. On TC’s side, we saw a similar defense, but instead of a heavy there was a medic, inposed, in the flagroom, along with the addition of an assassin, Cardona360. TC’s defense also proved to be extremely effective and solid.

The game continues with DF running a 3-man offense of a heavy, chemist, medic, and occasionally a ninja, of which some are continuously getting picked off by RaZeragon. DF notices this, and gamren moves up on offense, this time as soldier, and he helps to distract the archer while his teammates get across.

On the other hand, TC has to deal with another problem — keeping their medic and soldiers alive against DF’s strong roaming defense — and they decide to switch one of their soldiers, Swit, on to heavy to tank more damage from the roaming defense and the pyro and heavy in the flagroom.

TC’s tactic works, and 10 minutes in, Swit steals as heavy and goes out top, but she has no support. Even though Hamza is there as medic, he gets knocked away into the water by Recovs, and so Swit, having taken a lot of damage, quickly goes down to DF’s defense. TC, spurred on by this mini victory, chooses to move up Cardona360 onto offense as ninja and later soldier to open up more opportunities for steals and captures.

The first big steal on VOR original happens when Cardona is able to steal and get out of the flagroom as soldier with medic regen. As Cardona carefully makes his way across the map, wintergreen3 tries to land a few headshots on him, but Cardona manages to closely avoid her shots. One of TC’s members targets wintergreen3 and she goes down, allowing Cardona to make his way across the map with greater ease. However, Cardona still has to deal with a big problem — DF’s ninjas, heavys and soldiers — and with Hamza continually getting knocked away from Cardona, this makes it even harder for him to survive. Due to the stalling of the flag carrier by the DF defense, winter is able to run back and find a suitable position to headshot. Cardona, being low on health, and having not received a medic restore, decides to pass the flag to Swit before he dies to flag poison or to a headshot. However, Swit is just a bit too far away and Recovs manages to recover, with a well-timed ender pearl.

With only 2 minutes left, it seems unlikely that either team will capture. As the final pushes by either team goes down to the defense, there is just not enough time for any more attempts, and the map ends in a tie, the score 0-0.

After that exciting first map, we now find ourselves on Blackout, TC’s pick and the second map of the match. This map will decide which team wins, and whether both teams will proceed to play for the third map, Opposites Collide V. DF had two quick player swaps, subbing out Mhurdock and Kayrex for Rentokage (mage) and IrrelephantNews (assassin). This time, DF had Recovs on pyro, and also moved IBuySocks up on offense, with him playing either heavy or elf.

DF’s first offensive push consists of two heavys and a medic, it seems that DF is going to try to brute force their way into the flagroom and clear the defense while one heavy steals and gets out. On the other hand, TC is running a double soldier, ninja and medic on offense.

1 minute into the map, Doggies and IBuySocks manages to clear all of TC’s flagroom defense, even killing ghenry. Doggies steals as heavy and goes right, but he doesn’t have any medic or support. He still manages to make it considerably far until he goes down to the ninjas.

Doodleberry7 switches onto chemist to better deal with DF’s heavy offense.

On the other hand, for the archers, wintergreen3 is playing defensively, standing on xxdead, the right side of the map, choosing not to actively contest with RaZeragon for control over the middle. Therefore, with support from inposed as ninja, RaZeragon is able to move up and play much more aggressively, even dueling with winter and sniping DF’s defense. By maintaining control over the middle, kev helps to create space for his team, helping the defense by headshotting DF’s offense, but also providing support for his offense by picking off DF’s roaming defense. DF decides to pressure RaZeragon, forcing him back, while winter tries to regain her position on the high ground or find a better spot to pressure TC’s offense.

TC gets a lot of good steals, which all make it considerably far, but a few communication errors on TC’s side gives room for DF to recover.

Meanwhile, DF switches Doggies to soldier offense, and moves IBuySocks back on defense as ninja, and gamren moves up on offense, playing soldier or ninja.

5 minutes into the second map, Cardona manages to get a steal as Elf with the distraction of a soldier and a medic. Cardona gets out before the pyro can frenzy him, and he also gets the medic regen, and he goes by mid and then through the corridor on the right to avoid getting shot. wintergreen3 tries to land a shot on Cardona, but he narrowly dodges it. As winter quickly goes down to TC’s soldiers and ninjas, it seems unlikely that DF can recover, and Cardona gets the first capture of the match, putting the pressure on DF’s offense to capture.

Nothing much happens over the next few minutes, on TC’s side, mmich manages to steal as soldier but goes down to the ninja, Cardona360 gets a follow-up steal, but gets killed by the pyro. Meanwhile, IBuySocks gets a steal as Elf, and gets out of the flagroom somewhat clean, supported by a medic, soldier and ninja. As he makes his way to the right side of the map, he manages to reflect kev’s arrow, which ends up headshotting kev. The pyro, mmich and Doodleberry7 manage to stall IBuySocks at the DF spawn area, allowing RaZeragon to come back. He ends up headshotting IBuySocks, and cptcliff has to pick up the flag as medic. Under the pressure of TC’s recovery, cptcliff gets himself in an area vulnerable to archer headshots, of which kev takes advantage of. After cptcliff goes down to a headshot, Doodleberry7 pearls in and gets a excellent recovery.

In DF’s next offensive push, cptcliff is able to steal the flag as medic, but doesn’t go far and dies to the ninjas.

On the other hand, Cardona360 manages to get a steal, and even though he was taking a lot of damage from the DF defense, he manages to wind element out and survive with the help of Hamza’s medic regen. Cardona decides to go by the middle, then spawn-side, so he does not get headshot, and he makes it across the map with lots of support. IBuySocks ends up stealing the flag as elf and goes right, but he gets headshot by kev. This ends up being a second cap for TC.

13 minutes in, Cardona gets a steal but goes down, which gives Swit the opportunity for a follow-up steal. Swit is supported by a medic and a soldier, and Swit manages to get out, with the soldier knocking the pyro away and the medic healing her. Swit is able to get across the map, resulting in the third capture of the map.

The fourth capture happens when Cardona gets the flag and makes it out of the flagroom as soldier, with little of DF’s recovery on him. He is also accompanied by a lot of support. As DF’s offense goes down to TC’s defense, Cardona is able to capture with over 2 minutes left.

The match ended in 0-0, 4-0 in favor of TC. The player of the game went to RaZeragon (kev) as he was able to consistently pick off DF’s offense and also move up and play aggressively when the team was engaging in an offensive push.

All in all, the match was pretty close, Delta Force played well considering that they were testing out their new players. DF still managed to maintain a strong defense that didn’t allow TC to get 5 caps on Blackout, which is a good enough feat by itself. For TC, they played extremely well, even though there were a few minor communication errors, they still managed to get a strong 4 captures on their pick.

Final Scores: 0-0 Tie 4-0 TC
    Overall: TC Win! PotG @kevshadowslayer

You were competitive on Pagodas for sure. But to hold a practice for 1 map and banking on a 2-0? We capped 3 times in under 5 minutes on Airlock, a map you are familiar with.

How does killing someone in-game inhibit their ability to talk in a discord call? Lol makes no sense. How do you even shut down a defense ninja? Killing it?

He outperformed your pyro on all 3 maps, more damage dealt as well as kills. If our weakest link is better than your pyro (important position and best team to beat TT) I think we'll keep letting him play on the starting roster.

    They dealt with you

Austin launched raging out of the flagroom for our 2nd cap, he also saved gorbi from dying at a crucial moment by dropping a heal spell right on him which could have ended up in a capture.

Your only cap this match (and probably the past few years worth of matches vs us) was only 1 ninja cap. Unless you count austins cap on you guys.

    25 minute blackout stalemates suck

We've been avoiding picking airlock recently cause it doesn't favor our playstyle, we gave up so many caps at the end because we put an extra player on offense because we needed caps to have a chance at winning.

Doener was literally letting us out with free steals every map, the pvp classes you had on defense did way more than he did, watch pagodas back and look at how many times he doesn't even notice we steal.

We've capped against you guys before, it wasn't recently at all, but yh.

    Hard agree.

Now this is the spice I like.

You are right, i let you guys steal the flag too often. Above all I was not in the best condition and i kinda knew it. But still my team managed to win and compensate my lack of performance in that match. Everyone has a bad day and it is nothing devastating about it but calling me off the weakest link or generally calling someone out is a bit ignorance and in your position inappropriate.

Im proud to play and be on the active templars roaster for such a long time. If there wouldn't be the templars, i would left the server immediately because of boredom and repetitive gameplay.

As you mentioned, "people gave me to much credits as a pyro". I never asked for credit or consider to be the best. And everytime if someone called me the best pyro, i directed them to other people. There are better people then me in pyro. I'm playing CTF for fun with friends and team mates and not seen it as a challenge to prove someone that im the best.

Back to your quote about Pagodas. The flagroom of Pagodas is very poor designed and it is impossible to not steal as a solid soldier except you are running into a frenzy or something else. This fact alone is sufficient enough that your statement is pulled out of a hat. To that fact is your and your teammates ping on average way lower as mine. So that results way easier to punch me away, hit me from far distances and pick up the flag faster. Additional to that you guys was playing multiple soldiers and a buffed heavy. Our defense did a amazing job but it happend that someone gets killed or was distracted to kill someone and then its really difficult to protect the flag while someone hitting you from the back or something like that. I would like to see you or another pyro playing against that offense and not let them steal your flag once or playing on a server that is in the EU. Especially if buffed heavy do more damage on a pyro as a pyro on a burning enemy.

Maybe you noticed it or maybe not, but i stopped playing CTF actively back months ago.

Now i thank you for pointing out that im a bit rosty and i will train and do more practises with my team.

Wasn't trying to be toxic or anything, was just stating my personal opinion on the situation. I don't think calling someone the weakest link on a team is at all inappropriate, if anything it'll motivate that player. I was aware that you were fairly inactive, which was the main reason I made that statement, you used to be a super strong Pyro no doubt and I'd love to see you get back there since there aren't many solid players anymore.

Yeah, our roster was missing a lot since the brawl transfer up until recently. I look forward to future matches with you guys though, and I hope we can bring up that cap count quite a bit .

    Relevant.
