The Brawl News - February 2019

4,000,000 Unique Players
During February 2019, Brawl has hit a huge milestone - we passed 4,000,000 unique players to have logged on to the server. It's insane to think how far Brawl has come over the years and this wouldn't be possible without you guys - thank you for the ongoing support.

1.13 Support Added
This month, we have finally started supporting 1.13, the latest version of Minecraft. This is important because a large amount of new players use 1.13, and supporting this version will allow more and more players to play and enjoy Brawl.

New Cosmetics - Sprays and Tags
We've added new cosmetics to the shop, including 16 new tags and over 120 sprays for you to enjoy. Sprays are a new type of cosmetic that allows you to place an item frame showing a picture - this could be food, an emoji, or even your own skin!



Updates like these will allow us to fund future updates and advertisement for the server, so we really appreciate everyone who has supported us by buying these new cosmetics. For more information, see this thread.

New Party System
We have added a way to create in-game parties! Parties allow you to create a group of people who you can talk to at the same time. When the party leader goes to a new gamemode, everyone in the party will follow. This makes it very convenient for you to play together with your friends. For more information, see this thread.

Build Backend Update
A very self-explanatory update: build is now working on our new backend. This will allow developers to create new updates to Build more easily, and will dramatically improve performance on the gamemode. You will likely not notice any changes yet, but from a technical standpoint, this is a very big and important update. Let us know if you encounter any issues.

Raid Minor Update
You are now able to put XP bottles in the shop to sell.

War Black Clan-Tag
We've added a new colour for you to set your clan tag to - hope you enjoy!




Featured Brawler
This month's Featured Brawler is one of the few community members who has been around for longer than I can remember, and still frequently plays and contributes to Brawl. He is more often than not the richest Raid player during most maps, and is well respected by everyone in the Raid community. This month's Featured Brawler is @Colonel_Graff, congratulations!

Trivia Question
Last month's question was: excluding owners, admins and devs, which staff member currently staff has been on the team for longest?
The answer is @Nohox. He became a staff member all the way on McPvP on August 10, 2014, and became a staff member on Brawl when we merged. @Carsonn answered it first and earned a forums trophy!
