CTF Staff Teams

    Hello everyone!

    As you guys know, the CTF staff were working on something in the past few days, and we are now happy to share what it was to the community. We are finally implementing CTF Staff Teams!! For a while now, I wanted the CTF staff to be more proactive, so I've asked every CTF staff member to help me implement this, as I needed the participation of everyone to make this happen. We've had the idea of introducing specific roles into our CTF staff system, so that each of us knows what needs to be done and work on specific aspects of CTF. After some discussion, we've decided to create six different 'Staff Teams' that are listed here: Maps Team, Reworks Team, Feedback / Ideas Team, Events Team, Media Team and Team Scene Representatives.


    How will these Teams will work?

    Every CTF staff member has joined at least one Team, and we've designated a Leader for each Team. Each CTF staff member will still be able to participate in any discussions/meetings of each Team, but the participants of each Team will be mainly in charge and will plan what is upcoming in their specific areas.


    Presentation of the CTF Staff Teams

    Maps Team
    Description:
    • Plan the next map waves and anything related to maps for CTF
    • Regularly give feedback to map makers
    • Check the configuration of new maps
    • Commit / Activate new maps
    • Keep maps updated with new signs (similar to what we did with callouts)

    Reworks Team
    Description:
    • Plan the reworks of classes
    • Look for new class(es) we would like to implement in the game
    • Keep track of ideas/suggestions of the community (work with the Feedback Team for this point)
    • Help to organize testings of class reworks

    Feedback / Ideas Team
    Description:
    • Look through the feedback and suggestions of community members in the CTF Community discord (suggestions / complaints channels)
    • Keep track of the feedback in a separate document
    • Host hangouts with community members (work with the Reworks Team if needed)
    • Help to organize testings / take feedback of community members during testing sessions

    Events Team
    Description:
    • Plan events for CTF
    • Host events

    Media Team
    Description:
    • Create map wave or update trailers
    • Make videos on anything related to CTF (maps, classes, guides to help new players, etc.)

    Team Scene Representatives
    Description:
    • Help the CTF Committee to keep the Team Scene alive and plan the future of the Team Scene
    • Keep rules on the match server and threads updated (For example: MMR)

    Been wanting this for a while, happy it’s now been implemented. Hopefully this means that more stuff can happen at same time rather than the whole staff team just focusing on one thing at a time. Good job

    After producing scout, Nohox shouldn't be let anywhere NEAR class reworks or changes
