I've said time and time again that I don't want to make an update that you don't like, stop pretending otherwise. I promised to revive HG and that's exactly what I'm trying to do - not please the old HG community that doesn't even play anymore.
I support the changes because I promised to revive HG. If I'm not mistaken, you promised the same.
When was said "peak time game"?
I'm sorry but you're not even in-game at the moment - how can I trust someone who doesn't play BrawlHG on a regular basis with this kind of thing?
Peak time is in a few hours. I literally just said that.
I have a list of the amount of any players on the whole network. I don't even need to be at a computer to tell you that there's 31 players on WarZ 2. Or 8 players on the CTF match server. Or that a HG game just started with 2 players. (Dead).
The only reason why I'm not playing Brawl HG regularly at the moment is because I have these things called exams, and apparently they're pretty important. My gut instinct says that something which will determine if I go straight from school into my dream career or not is more important than a block game. Terribly sorry.
The change won't appeal to the old community that doesn't even play the game anymore, yet it will appeal to new players, who do still play the game (for like, 5 minutes, before quitting).
The gamemode hasn't dropped in players for a while, because its practically as low as it can get. We either update HG and change the way the game is played considerably, or we shut down HG. Those are the two best decisions Brawl can make at the moment, regarding the future of HG and how it'll influence Brawl.
Also, about your comment that you're finding time to play Minecraft despite getting good grades: I'm expected to get the highest possible grade in most of my exams. If I do that, I'll be going into an apprenticeship in my dream career, and won't have to worry about student debt or anything like that.
That's more important to me than Minecraft. If I'm expected to value that over Minecraft, I'm resigning (I said something similar to this to Canoodle when I asked if I could go inactive for longer than we're usually supposed to). I'm not expected to value Minecraft more than that, hence why I'm still mod.
I don't exactly want people to lose respect for me, but you haven't told me exactly why. If you tell me exactly why you don't like the way we're handling HG, I'll discuss it with you until we get to a conclusion and change my ways if necessary. But, if you're unwilling to do that or expect that you're *definitely* right and that I will *definitely* change because of your opinion, that simply will not work.
I'm *literally* trying to ignore Brawl as much as I can over the next month and a half, and that's exactly what I am doing. I've made ONE exception and am doing ONE single thing instead of revising for exams that'll change my life, and that is read and respond to everything you're saying directly to me (i.e in a conversation, on my profile post).
I've made my points - instead of pulling a Gordon Brown and continously road-blocking me, look at what I actually said.
I'll discuss this over voice or something since this is taking too long.
This is getting painfully aggravating now. Despite wanting to focus on Brawl as little as possible, I'm checking the forums daily just to respond to your conversations and posts regarding the discussed HG updates. And, apart from anything I may have missed (I did have like, 80 notifications), I've read and responded to all of them.
Your arguments are making absolutely no sense whatsoever. You're being a hypocrite and its making it impossible to come to any valid, worthwhile conclusion after a discussion due to it.
Once of your arguments earlier was: "how can I trust someone who doesn't play BrawlHG on a regular basis with this kind of thing?" And yet, now, you're complaining that I'm not looking over what you said. Make up your bloody mind.
As well as this, I've been responding with long, detailed posts that you could almost call essays to the conversation I'm in with you. One of the responses was one of the longest post I've made on the entire forums, ever (excluding, perhaps, threads I've made). And yet, your response to that post was: "So this has actually been implemented?"
Your attitude and blind incompetence at pertaining valid points in discussions about what should happen to HG is making any conclusions drawn from said discussions irrelevant and pointless. Returning to the forums just to hear your opinions is a futile effort considering that, and the fact that you're clearly not appreciating what I'm trying to attempt to keep you satisfied.
As such, I'll no longer be putting the effort in to read the forums daily just to see and respond to what you're saying, as focusing away from Brawl is in my best interest at the moment. Me listening to everything you're saying and responding, at times, with essay-length posts is something you're clearly not appreciating, so I won't even bother at all.
Perhaps this makes me a bad mod in your eyes; I don't really care. I'm stressed out due to exams and a few other things that I haven't mentioned here yet, and its not worth my time anymore. If you want me to respond to any posts you make over the next month before I'm back, save the links and PM me them and, when I return, I will spend time responding and considering everything you have to say.
You clearly think nothing of me responding to all your threads and trying to adapt the discussed update as much as I can to something you'll enjoy, even though the main demographic for HG is new players. I'm not going to bother trying to keep you satisfied, as its clear you don't give a damn about my efforts. That's fine by me.
You should chill out. I never said I don't give a damn about your efforts - however, I have to be honest, I've not seen many that emanate from you.
Chill out a bit.
And I'm trying to be accomodating to suggestions - have I heard any decent ones?
