Dude you don't have to be intelligent to understand Rick and Morty. Anybody who thinks that probably doesn't know what real intelligence is. In the end Rick and Morty is an extremely smart funny show, but it's still just a show. You don't have to be some kind of philosopher to enjoy or understand it.

to be honest... Rick and Morty takes basic understanding to understand what happens in the show which is random, so as long as you have a bit of an imagination and like toes, you'll love the show.
