Barret 50 Cal.'s Accuracy; Is it Really an Issue?

The fact that people barret-spas without aiming makes it so annoying. I mean, if you have VIP/MVP, you can get a barret in less then a minute. In my opinion, it should have a really bad hip-fire accuracy, but good damage and mobility.
unless u have no friends with barrets

 

I think that the accuracy isn't a problem to me, it's damage as already been nerfed and being so that you cannot one shot a full iron or a full dia is fine with me, as a long as is doesn't gets extremely accurate with the no scope then it is fine for me.

 

I don't think it should, it is a higher lvl gun. It should be powerful.

 

I just had a full d in a corner and when I was about to kill him, I got noscoped. Let me explain why this is a problem. I am destroying him and was making better plays and had him, but he just accidentally scrolled to barret while trying to go to food. This killed me from 15+ blocks because he is LUCKY, NOT SKULLFULL! If it was skill, my noscope would of hit and finished him, but it is luck because my noscopes miss so I ak him, but his luck saves him from someone elses skill. It is really annoying when you totally outplay someone when you have full leather and they have full d and they just get a lucky no scope. This also takes away some skill because instead of actually aiming, you just press right click and get someone else's loot, no matter how good they are. For all the people that say "but it saves you sometimes" it only saves you because the other person outplayed you to get you in a good position and you get a lucky noscope, not showing any skill on your part. This is why noscopes should be nerfed.

 

How do you know he accidentally scrolled to his barret while trying to get food? Many times I've been pinned in a corner or against a wall, turned and hotkeyed to my barret to get a shot off to save my life.. That IS skill. Being able to quickly switch to your gun while eating food/bones/bandages is only really effectively done with people that hotkey.

 

My man, hot keying ain't skill, almost everyone can hotkey perfectly (if they're good at typing). No aim= no skill

 

Hot keying isn't skill? Look at @LuckyPop He hot keys SO fast. Look where it gets him... You telling me that isn't skill? People who hot key, most of the time, can outplay someone who scrolls just due to the fact they can get more shots off faster. Being "good at typing" has nothing to do with whether you can hot key your guns fast or not. There's a big difference between typing words and hitting specific keys in a certain order (unless you're luckypop, then just mash keyboard ) while clicking/strafing/moving around.

 

Bro, hot keying isn't skill. As far as I know, most of my team hotkeys and the only reason why Luckypop was considered ''good'' was become he was glitch abusing, making him combo faster. Hot keying does not make u combo faster (for the last time :L)

Luckypop wasn't abusing a glitch, just the way he fired his guns was different to "normal" so his barret/spas after was a LITTLE faster.
You didn't understand what I meant by hot keying makes you shoot faster. Before the delay was recently added, hot keying & spam clicking WAS faster than just simply scrolling.
By saying hot keying lets you get more shots off faster, I mean that you don't have to scroll from barret-spas-ak-food, maybe even more if you have items in between them slots on your hot bar.. Instead, hot keying you can go straight to what you want, straight to food, right click and straight back to your guns.. Scrolling takes a little longer than that.
No need to give me negative ratings just because I have a different opinion to you. If everyone on the forums did that, everybody would have a lot more negatives.

Where to start.
You got pinned in a corner by being outplayed most likely.
You hotkeyed to your barret and shot to save your life which means you just noscoped someone who was outplaying you and killed them with a lucky shot.
The suggestion is that no scopes should be nerfed because people who outplay/smart others just get a lucky noscope to the head from a hotkey. (anyone can press '2' or wherever there barret is, not skill IMO)

Off topic: Also hot keying doesn't make you combo faster unless the two items you have are not next to each other in your hot bar. And IMO I don't think it is skill because pressing '2' then pressing right click is easier then strafing someone and cornering them while shooting and eating when they need to.

Being pinned in a corner, MOST of the time will not be because I've been "outplayed" Someone can just start spraying an ak as you run around a corner in close quarters and boom, you're pinned. Also, rushing a 1v2+ can likely lead to me getting cornered from them all firing at me.
I rarely get no scopes that save my life if I'm being sprayed at. I can squeeze a barret-spas combo before switching back to food which then causes the enemy to heal, which is one less person shooting at you so I can then move and fight properly again..

I was just saying that because we were all fighting. Next time, try to not reply when you realize there is a flame war starting. Staff will look down on you for trying to get the last word.

 

That proves the point that no-scopes are way too op because you were outplayed and cornered and got out because you no scoped your barret and spazed. This is unfair because that person actually should have won because he outsmarted you and got you pinned with his ak. But you won only because you no-scoped.

By the way xgen, why did you rate my post pointless? I just proved my point that no-scopes are too op, is there a problem? Did I suddenly lose my rights?

 

You guys just don't understand. A barret .50 cal is meant for destroying tanks and such. If anything, the barret should be buffed. The barret .50 cal would tear someone in half in a single shot. It's inhumane to even shoot someone with it.
