Being more efficient in Mc-War

This thread is a collection of ways I've found to increase survivability and take out more players than just learning to aim better, I hope you guys get some use out of it.

1. Prefire- Don't give them a chance.
One of my personal favorite things to do, this works with any headshot capable weapon (or the iso.)
Wait near a fairly high-traffic corner while shifted with your gun scoped at head level. When you see a name tag, time your shot so it hits them just as they turn the corner. Since the headshot box is pretty big, your shot should instakill them as long as your timing is right. The Python is especially good at this since it's firerate allows you to readjust your aim quickly if you miss.
On offense...
While not as risk-free, you can use your own nametag to lure enemies around corners, turning what they thought would be an ambush into a surprise attack of your own. Expect raging.

2. The Jumpshot- It's like taking cover and shooting at the same time.
See a convenient two block tall wall? Have a lot of enemies focused on you? Have a working spacebar and right click? Then this trick may work for you! Works with any gun that can kill in the time it takes to jump (More than you'd imagine.)
Easy to pull off, yet it can turn a bad situation around very quickly. Stand behind said two block wall, then jump and shoot at the nearest target. If your gun has a fast enough time-to-kill, you can repeat this process until your position is safe to leave. Since instinct says to shoot at an enemy, don't jump again immediately or you may end up high-fiving a bullet. keep an eye out for experienced players who may already know what you're doing, since they know to time their shot or flank you out.
On defense... (Yes all of them will have this.)
While trick no.1 is usually more effective, shifting behind an ideal wall could allow you to take out players without them ever knowing what hit them.

3. ADS Strafing- Sprint jumping, except while walking sideways, with slowness.
If your aim is good enough, try simply jumping to the side when you scope, headshots and just shots in general become much harder for the other team to land. However, if they aren't stupid, they'll adjust quickly and you'll be dead anyway, but this enhances early-game survivability greatly.
On defense...
If you aren't being shot at, moving around only makes your own aim worse. So if you have an unaware target who should be an easy kill, make sure you actually land the shot.

4. C4 for humans- Not just the Raygun counter.
Don't you just hate c4 in infect? Unless you suicide every round, in which case, don't you just love c4 in infect? Yes, this does require you to have c4.
For you pro survivors out there, you know the nightmare of trying to avoid being exploded through walls. While this trick will be pretty much useless when c4 is changed, we have no idea how far off that change is. Most players ignore their equipment outside of where it's vital to victory, this is a mistake. C4 can still be used through walls in other gamemodes, it's just that people don't anticipate it as much. This is the safest way to kill someone as long as they're in range.
Of note and in Infect...
C4 requires two hits to kill players outside of infect, zombies must have a damage-boost on them or something, this means you will have to place both charges for an instant kill, so you can only do this once per life.

5. Tacticals aren't useless- The forgotten donor item.
Oftentimes players will buy flashbangs and not really think about it, since the overall effect they have is usually small. Just remember that you're essentially carrying around two thrown mini-EMPs, doesn't sound so ineffective now, does it? Players hit by the effect give off "blood" particles, so target ones that don't first. Remember that using these against a group can help you to set off a full-sized EMP.
In infect...
Humans can use flashbangs to delay zombie charges and zombies can use them to get closer without being shot. Remember that name tags are still visible, but their outline can only be seen through walls, and that blinded survivors tend to freak out if they think a zombie is close, potentially wasting ammo or landing a lucky shot.

6. Spawncamping usually fails- I see people who should know better still making this mistake.
I know not all of you still do this, but every map has a certain area that you just can't enter, why? Because you're liable to run into invincible enemy players. Who are rather difficult to fight because of the whole invincibility thing, if you ever see somebody complain about "wow you took like 3 iso head shots you hacker!" You know that somebody's team pushed forward a little bit too far, don't be that person who loses a killstreak because you forgot where all of the enemies come from.
In FFA...
Most players know by now that kills in the first few seconds of FFA or GunGame don't count, generally, I find the timer lasts just long enough to let one person kill me, at no penalty to myself. This does not apply to OneIn, for ammo purposes.
Of note...
Don't complain about being spawncamped, typing wastes your invincibility period where you could fight back! Also, if the other team gets that far for a long enough time to consider it "camping", it's usually your team's fault.

7. Zombie Evasion- The best plan is sometimes the least expected. (Suggested by @ZMan_2300)
We've all been there, you're the last or almost last survivor in Infect, maybe you owe your survival to scavenger, or all your buddies who were protecting you got zombiesploded. The point is, you're cornered and it's only a matter of seconds until someone pushes into melee distance, my recommendation? Well, standing still won't work, so run the other direction! (Ideally slightly to the left or right.)
With any luck, the zombie you run at will miss their punch, and you can spin around and kill the confused zombie. The success rate is relatively low, but it's a last resort and makes you look like a champion among men if it works.
In GunGame...
If you're out of ammo, never run straight at an enemy, sidestep just before you reach sword range (may take some practice) to secure more reliable "recovery" kills.

8. Don't look! I'm committing genocide!- Ignorance is bliss.
Being about to set off an EMP or a nuke is one of the most stressful things about Mc-War, also, being stressed or angry generally leads to playing worse, not the best way to be playing when trying to get that crucial last kill. My advice? Don't check to see how your killstreak is going, while this is second nature to many players, if you don't know a killstreak is about to go off, you won't get nervous and that last kill becomes just another easy takedown.
In FFA/GunGame...
As opposed to every other gametype (minus OneIn, but that's special,) I'd recommend checking the scoreboard every chance you get, being angry and taking risks often leads to more kills, even if you die. Since killstreaks usually aren't anybody's goal in these two modes, the more kills the merrier!
In OneIn...
You'll want to switch strategies mid-game for Onein, first, be aggressive and shoot as many players as possible, if you always shoot first, you'll always kill first (unless you miss, but if you care about winning you should have the executioner anyway.) Don't look at the scoreboard to see who's winning until the next phase.
Once most of the players are eliminated, shift into caution mode, use the other strategies listed above to get the lowest risk kills possible, use the scoreboard and target whoever is winning, they're three deaths maximum from being out of your way for the rest of the game.

I disagree with #7 in that, staying in one place, might just be the thing that keeps you alive. Moving can sway your aim, and quickscoping a zombie is a much better alternative to sidestepping something that may not work to evade the punch.
I prefer to calmly quickscope. But i usually use the minifun so screw my opinion
(i wasn't saying you were wrong BTW, it's a great thing, I just prefer quickscoping).

Also: Here's my proven onein strategy:

Exectuioner, scavenger, tomahawk, molotovs (though I don't own tovs)

Hide at the beginning.
Not because you are a chicken, but because at the beginning bullets are everywhere random noobs losing their heads swinging swords randomly. Sit back in a corner and cover the entrances. After about half of the people have died out, you have full lives and maybe a few kills and everyone else doesn't have full lives.
The tomahawk is essentially and extra bullet. The molotovs one hit people in a huge range (don't kill yourself with it, which you CAN do)
Use the tomahawk first, you will have 3 ammo for executioner. Go around and hunt for people, stay stealthy and always look where you're going. Every kill gets you +2 exe ammo because of scav.

If you don't have scav or tomahawk or molotovs or executioner, have a summary:
1) Hide
2) Hunt survivors, be careful!

I didn't mean you should try and juke every zombie who attacks you, I meant to react if you can tell if someone is about to get you, even the Minigun can't quite keep out everyone, except in a few really good chokepoints.
I wrote that with the Raygun in mind, with it's awkward hitbox, slowerish firerate, and lack of aim required at point blank range.

Whenever I try your OneIn strategy, the guy with the most kills shifts in a corner somewhere and I can't find him for the life of me, I basically adapted what those guys did to me to win via timer if anyone tries that.
Your plan is safer, but I like to take the upper hand and keep it.

What I do, is I just KILL KILL KILL then hunt after i hid. I don't hide until there are 4 people left. If a server has 40 people when half are dead, then hunt...
