    I play chemist mainly and to be serious, chemist is perfect, strong if someone is abled to play it and very weak if you cant handle it. potspam is also not possible anymore, but by setting down the time that is required to rethrow potions, would very decrease chemists capture function and his chances to surviva a battle against a ninja e.g. So in my opinion soldier needs something similar, but chemist absolutely doesnt need a nerf (maybe the buff potions could last the same time and only 2:00 instead of 3:00 and 2:13)

    Chemi needs a nerf. It's an absolute beast in the hands of anyone skilled.

    Even if you don't lose hunger CTF has an incomplete hunger bar which can make players think steak as food and not health. And yeah kitbrawl does use soup which is why that's another option.
    That's not a reason

    Changing steak to something more known to heal like potions or soup is important because it can take a while for people to learn that steak heals because of its bad telegraphing.

    If people cannot figure out that Steak is a meat that most people eat... And if they cannot figure out if Steak is a healing item. They have more problems then knowing how to play on a minecraft server.

    @obikenobi21 I know it's a visual change, I was explaining as to if (God forbid) people wanted it changed to potions and changed the amount it heals for different classes what it would take to make that work.

    While we're in the subject of steak, is there a way to make it so that eating a steak does not stop your momentum when you're running?

    like seriously i think i would cap 99% of the time i stole if they weren't in the game >_>

    For example: When i did select mage or another class then i had not a compass....

    I see Chemist and Heavy as the "beast" classes. Both are made for some rough fights (Heavy being more noob friendly, while more skilled players prefer Chemist). Neither need a major nerf, if any at all. To help the potential abuse of potspamming, I would decrease the total #of pots thrown by 2, in order to lose all your magic. That on its own would be a major nerf, making it almost impossible for a Chemist to survive any mob (esp. that guarding the flag room) for very long. Buffed Heavy is very strong, but could be handled by a Pyro or good Chemist–making it fine as it stands for the time being.
    As a last change- I hope Brawl can fix the Soldier wall-spam!

    Chemist was aimed towards support, and needs major nerfing because it's factually op.

    I could not agree more about the nerf, @Tenshirox. However, chemist has flourished as a capping class, and I don't necessarily think that we need to suppress that, more like make it less resilient (possible armor nerf could really benefit chemi)

    Concerning things,

    Instakills: Honestly, pyro instakills are relatively OP and my most hated one. There are only 2 classes that cannot be instakilled. I would prefer a massive damaging hit, rather than an instakill, that is dependent on armor. Assassin instakills on the other hand aren't really OP. All classes except few can make sure it doesn't happen, and all classes can stop one in its tracks by just hitting him. Archer heads headshotting also some skill, but, if this was to be nerfed, I would give it the same mechanic as I mentioned for the pyro axe. A massively damaging hit that is dependent on armor.

    Chemists: On this issue of chemists, I see only little problem. It is really a skill dependent class with extremely powerful weapons if used correctly. Perhaps a slight decrease in potion time, number, or cooldown may be needed.

    Steak v. Stew: On the issue of steak to stew, I personally dislike the thought of soup being the health item. Steaks are just the classic healing item of CTF, and I don't want that to be changed. That being said, potions are more noob friendly and make it easier to do it, so I have to remain indifferent on this matter.

    Wall spam: Soldier wall climb (even though I love soldier) should be nerfed. I would simply give claiming an "overheat" function that slowly goes up and quickly regenerates; however, I think that flag poisoning for soldier should either be reduced or removed to balance out.

    I honestly think that all the things we hate (Soldier wall climb, instakills, chemist) are the things that make CTF so challenging and fun to play. It gives a sort of adrenaline boost to me when I headshot, assassinate, and wall climb, and also when I try and avoid headshots, block, and try and kill wall climbing soldiers. That's just my opinion though.

    I agree, to an extent. However, these do lead to an unbalanced game, and they are not very noob-friendly.

    id say just as long as the soups are not in multiple slots idc. I think health pots will make more sense if you really have to change them.

    No one understands that potspam isn't actually viable.
    I don't know if I've ranted about this before, but I may as well start.
    While annoying, potspam actually doesn't work very well because of vanilla mechanics.
    When a damage potion is thrown, it knocks someone back. It is unique in this aspect.
    All potions have an area of effect.
    Put two and two together, people! If you spam potions, you get less damage. And with the current nerf, medic refill doesn't change your cooldown timer. Potspam is just a bad strategy.

    Another thing: yes, Chemist is aimed at support. And it is very much still a support class, despite not being used as one.
    Strength Ninja? Really OP.
    Speed and Fire Resistance Soldier? Best capper there is.
    Speed and Strength Heavy? Wow. Just wow.

    And I don't remember who posted about this, but @ whoever, don't complain that Chemist isn't support while complaining about buffed Heavy being too strong. You just contradicted yourself.
