    Fixing pyro? Yes please, thank you, Quar. I think any of those ideas would be more balanced than the current pyro.

    What if flint was replaced with something similar to a mage flame spell, which shoots out a fireball. With a cooldown of 1-2 seconds it would be a non-spammable, close range alternative to FnS.

    I'm a total scumbag of a pyro so I'll probably sound bias but I'm gonna put my two cents in. I admit pyro is OP af (which is why I bought it) but some of the reworks seem really over complicated to me, but that might just be because I'm dumber than a rock.

    As of now a pyro can light someone on fire by shooting their bow, but they don't have to hit the opponent for them to be on fire as long as the explosion is in like a 2 or 3 block radius. You really don't have to aim much because of how many blocks the explosion covers. I'd get rid of the explosion and give pyros a Flame I bow, that way they'd actually have to aim and hit their opponent.

    Instead of a one hit kill it should take 2 or even 3. Lastly, maybe give pyros less steak. Idk just some ideas, bless your soul Quar.

    I'm not sure I understand fully; what is the problem with Pyro? I mean, can't you just use medic to counter them instead??

    The only reason I've avoided giving pyro only flame is because in a huge crowdeed defense full of people, that arrow isn't gonna go anywhere. We could lower the splash explosion but, I wouldn't remove it entirely. But for the rest of your point, about the complicated stuff, that why (for my opinion) I like the mobility instakill the best - because all the mechanics are the same, but pyro's can't camp as much. If you're a good pyro, it wouldn't change much - but it begins showing the difference between a new pyro and an experienced pyro (one of the main things I, personally, want new pyro to be able to show). and hai sand<3

    It is very powerful in midfield, quite easy to become decent at on defence, and counters soldier and heavy very harshly. A good pyro can single handedly stop a group of soldiers, and this is an issue.

    Is this actually going to happen within the next year? Last time I heard that Pyro was supposedly going to get some change or rework was 1-1.5 years ago (guess how that went). Can we actually make this ****ing happen this time? I'll give you guys 6 months. :smile:

    As a person who plays pyro I suggest to main factors you guys should definitely add
    1) Decrease amount of arrows by half (therefore 10 arrows only)
    2) Add an experience bar to limit how many times you can set the floor on fire

    That should make it a bit more balanced out :smile:

    I haven't read many of the comments, but
    Imagine multiple pyros in the flagroom like there usually are. What if frenzy modes couldn't stack? So you catching fire would only be applied once for a few seconds (you can only imagine the amount of times cappers would be re-set on fire, making it nearly impossible to cap, due to the crowd control effects of fire). The fact that it's anyone on fire might make it a little too powerful, making pyro a great offensive class as well. What if anyone on fire within a radius of the pyro would take damage from the fire? (Maybe a 6-9 block radius?)

    Those are just my ideas thrown out in a comment. I like Frenzy mode more than any other rework, though.​
