    Okay, so playing some WarZ helped me think of this, interestingly enough.

    Armor:
    Leather cap (Renamed Scout Hood) (Dyed Black)
    Chain chest plate
    Chain leggings
    Iron boots
    (Substantial but not high armor)

    Inventory:
    Sharpness I Flame I Iron Sword (Renamed Scout Sword)
    2 steak
    Fishing rod (Renamed Scout Grappling Hook)

    Effects:
    Jump boot III

    Abilities:
    The grappling hook works a little differently than WarZ. In addition to the same pull forward mechanic, the hook also gives anyone who is hit with it Slowness 3 for 1 second. After 1 throw, the hook cools down for 2 seconds.

    Usages:
    -The Jump Boost III can be used to land fantastic critical hits on enemies
    -The Flame I wears down enemies heath and slows them too (Use with a pyro for maximum effect, although this rework will be implemented after pyro's instakill is removed, preventing camping in the flag room)
    -The grappling hook will effectively allow you to catch up with most people and stop enemies in their tracks.
    Balances:
    -The high damage output and high mobility is balanced with being a very low armor and health pool class- Scout dies easily to a strong melee attack, but melee battles slow flag holders down, so that's unlikely in a recovery situation. The low health pool also prevents this class from being practical for capping.
    -Soldier can escape this class pretty well
    -Medic is immune to the fire
    -Chemist may be able to outrun, if slowness isn't applied. Chemist may loose melee fight with low health pots though.

    Why don't you ever include meeee, includee mee always please :grinning:. Anyways, I like most of it, but the jump boost and the sword. Maybe get rid of sharpness and decrease it to jump boost 2?

    I am not a fan of fire swords, ughghghhghghg.
    I hate being on fire, make it inflict poison or even wither.

    I wanted it to be slightly more damage than soldier and about equal to heavy. The jump boost makes the class able to jump 2.5 blocks, also known as over most low walls.

    I like it, but I think the flame would make it stand out from the other classes, instead you should even it out by adding a two second stop/halt to whoever you shoot with the fishing pole, you could even add flame to whoever you grappled.

    Flame I it's Fire Aspect I... just saying and other grammar mistakes i'll overlook.....
    Anyways!

    Starting Items
    From what I can see, armor is balanced with the current abilities as you said.
    Weapon is an Iron Sword Fire Aspect and Sharpness 1, well, for starters a sharpness I iron sword is more powerful than a regular diamond sword, with the added fire aspect it's kind of overpowered even with the low health pool and armor.

    Passive Abilities
    Jump Boost III:
    Try running or sprinting with jump boost 3 using this command
    /effect (your player name) minecraft:jump_boost 30 2
    in creative mode singleplayer. I'll wait.
    Now, to the ones who are too lazy.... sprinting with jump boost 3 is slow.

    So many players might dislike this class and use another class. What I recommend is to add an item, that when activated, allows them to have jump boost 3 forever until deactivated.

    Active Abilities
    Grappling Hook:
    I'm not too sure how the Grappling Hook even works because I tried using it in Warz and it did nothing. So I usually ditch the grappling hook. Anyways the Slowness and everything seems fair to me. Except that the cooldown should be higher, maybe 5 seconds. Just to avoid some spamming.

    Add another ability because 1 ability is not enough in my opinion.
    Good job! Hopefully the staff will consider another a new class.

    Well,
    #1, sprinting is not affect by jump boost unless you jump.
    #2, the grappling hook allows you to pull yourself forwards on servers 1-5. Older servers, not.
    #3, I'll consider nerving the sword, but considering the low armor and tiny health pool , it's really quite balanced.
    #4, Only one ability will be added to this class because free classes need to be quite simple.

    I like that at the end you had the kinda "every payed class needs a free counter" thing with how solider can get away and medic cant be put on fire. I think maybe you could get rid of the sharpness on the sword and set a max distance for the grapple hook.

    The fishing rod already had a short maximum distance.

    I agree with what was stated earlier. The Jump Boost should be able to be toggled. Sprint jumping is impossible with Jump Boost. If this class needs to catch up to a flag carrier, it shouldn't be slowed down by the boost. I like it otherwise.

    I also think that some slight changes to the grappling hook would be good. In my experience, the fishing pole throws too slow to catch someone that is decently far away from you. Any quicker substitute would be good. I like most of this idea, a few tweaks would make it pretty good. Good luck! :grinning:
