They didn't change it because people wanted an engineer rework instead, and we got an engineer rework. Then we wanted a pyro rework, and a pyro rework is supposed to be in progress.

I guess that what I'm trying to say here is that I liked McPVP more than I am liking Brawl right now. Even if McPVP didn't pay much attention to us and took a while to get things done, they didn't make a lot of changes that they knew would upset us.

LOLOLOLOL yes my theory is proven correct . Listen kid this is a business and people make a living off it , and trust me they will do more to feed their families and desires than you think , Brawl wants you to be happy and pay up to ! Explain to me why they would profit of your misery ????

Brawl CTF has been out only almost 3 weeks, and they've already fixed a lot of bugs, revamped chat to make it look more modern. Just wait until the official release (as it's still in Beta and even the Beta CTF is pretty good)

Trust me, Brawl's CTF is a lot better than McPvP's CTF when it was in beta.

I dont fully agree , both servers have their ups and downs . I think HG might have been better on MCPVP simply because of the players , the whole game there had alot of slang and culture around it

And that, my friend, is exactly my point. Look at how many people are upset with the new flags alone. At least 30%.

You would be looking at probably about 20k-40k to buy the server. Then you would have to pay about 40k-50k a year on coders to keep the server running smoothly. When you get that $ maybe you can buy it.

No. McPVP beta CTF had only heavy, and the map was a flat-land - the bases were a 24 high stone pillar with ladders on the side, and at the top was a chest with the wool in.

You disregard the fact that the server is worth what Brawl prices it at , they can sell for 1.000.000$ or 1$ , and in the long run assuming your numbers make any sense it more profitable to simply make a copycat gamemode , after all its not like Brawl has copyright over the gamemode principle . And 40k-50k a year on coders is quite accurate i feel although its the same concept , you pay what you want .

tbh, I actually liked that better than the current pyro. The current pyro encourages camping until you either get distracted or you let go of your bow. The old pyro, if you did that it was basically considered cheap, because you were camping and no one likes to be called cheap so they either stop doing it OR continue doing it, but no one likes that they do it. Eventually though, they nerfed pyro, as well as a lot of other classes. It's rare to see a buff anymore. I am not saying this because of nostalgia. Well actually I am, because in my opinion the old ctf > the current ctf. Even if I am using nostalgia it's only because I know it was when I felt ctf had more action. And nostalgia is actually a good thing, it means you had memories that were fun and happy moments that you cannot get anymore. I've seen some arguements where people say "You are purely basing off all your points from nostalgia". Even if I was basing all my points off the past of happy moments, most ctfers say they want the "golden age" back. The people that don't say it are scared all they will get in return is "You are purely basing off all your points from nostalgia" or maybe even say there's no golden age or something. The golden age can be what you want, but I purely see ctf going downhill in action and in community members. For me, the golden age was when it was extremely hard to capture the flag. Now, no one is really impressed when you get a capture, it's just average. It was when pyro had the bow that you could kill someone in .344 seconds or w/e and when assassin had 2 redstone and 3 sugar, when Soldier didn't die from flag poisoning, when ninjas could 414, instacap, and invis camp. The community complains not because they think you did a bad job, but simply because they want what they had back. It's your job to make sure that you listen to the community and their thoughts and get an understanding of what they want. That's how you impress your customers.

Anyways, back to the main topic, no you cannot buy ctf and you probably don't know how to handle it either. It's hard job don't take it so lightly.

Brawl is doing fine with what they have. As a semi-active player of CTF for like 2 or 3 years, I can honestly say that most of what people like/dislike are personal preferences, and usually not the majority opinion As an example, I'm one of the few people that wants all instakills removed completely, but that's never gonna happen. There's no reason to complain on this scale because there are a few things you don't think are right. As someone who has run communities on and off of Minecraft, I can promise you that they put a lot of time and effort into what changes are or are not made. Keep in mind that CTF is still in Beta, things are bound to happen that you don't like/think should be different.

tl;dr Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it needs to be changed right now this instant. These things take time to evolve.

Never said I didn't like it x3 If I did, I wouldn't be here. Of course I still enjoy it, I'd just prefer it to have more action. I still think it's the best gamemode out there, but I think more people enjoy an action game, not a game where the experienced players destroy the newer players to the point they give up. Hm, that also brings up another point. Why isn't there a strong defensive based class for beginner free to play players? The only classes they have are really offense or midfield and the midfield one is hard to execute if you are a beginner.

Also, "There's no reason to complain on this scale because there are a few things you don't think are right. As someone who has run communities on and off of Minecraft, I can promise you that they put a lot of time and effort into what changes are or are not made." What did I complain about? The entire time I was just stating things that have happened in the past or said things that I enjoyed having, I didn't think it was going to change at all. xD

"Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it needs to be changed right now this instant" I wasn't asking for this to happen immediately, nor did I expect it to change. xD
