Sorry, I know you were looking for a map, but I have a suggestion. First off, I would like to say that I played the original CTF servers way back when it has separate ip's. (Not connected to Brawl) These times were the best. I played for hours upon end. The maps were fantastic, and I developed flanking routes, and strategies for each map. They were so unique and you could discover passages and routes you never found before. These maps were re-playable until the end of time it seemed. Please don't skim over/ignore this post. Players like me will be thrilled to see the classic maps return. You guys have 1/2 things down pat that will give back the old time memories: The classes, but you still don't have the maps.
Thank you for reading my post, I sincerely appreciate it!

All maps were removed for a reason. If you wish to rework old maps so they have a chance of being added back into rotation, contact Pavocado.

What's the reason? I personally don't see why they can't be added back in. (I could totally be wrong here, I am not trying to argue, just curious.)

There are tons of maps that have been removed. I have been playing CTF for a very long time, and have enjoyed several of the removed maps. However, they all had a legitimate reason they were removed. So you will have to ask about specific maps. Most likely, they were removed because of lots of down-voting.

Ah, ok. Thank you very much! I hope to see the future of CTF and I now realize that a lot of money went into this. I just hope remakes will appear.

The old maps were cool and all, but they were very simplistic. That's why I love em:stuck_out_tongue: it was a shame to see them go down. Sadly I did not take any ctf pics or remember any names ;(

Yeah, I agree with @Turmac. The maps were simple, yet super fun.

Umm... I'm pretty sure that you can discover more strategies with the current maps...
My only complaint is that they need to add more maps, not bring back the old ones

@ContagiousBubble It just brings a but of nostalgia and some memories back to me. I don't know why you need to be so mad. I just simply suggested that they bring back old maps. While yes, new maps add for new game play and strategies, but the original maps just never got old. Well in terms of time they did, but they never got boring to me. They were so simple, that's why they never died. Everything was so perfect. And frankly, if the majority of the community wants to discard the original maps, that's fine. But I will never forget the times I had with friends back in the old days of simple Minecraft. Plus, the new strategies you might be talking about just causes more chaotic game play, the maps are to crazy and complicated. Yes, someone can take the time to memorize the new maps, the old maps were fun and simpler to remember and memorize, causing less confusion, and more fun.

I get it. There's nonstgia. But really old classics such as Waterfall and Halo aren't around for a reason: the gameplay was incredibly broken. Both of those maps were Dwarf OP as hell.

@Sir_Inge I never said ALL of the maps should be added in. I totally agree with you there. (Although I loved the design of both the maps)

You could always visit the maps on MCBuild. The ID's are on Pavo's Map list. The only thing stopping you is that some of the maps may be private.

Many new maps are based off of old maps but revamped or improved. It's great because it feeds nostalgia whilst fixing the issues.

Reminded me that Islands Part 3: The Return was planned because of that scavanger hunt event, but it hasn't happened yet.

map preference is always pretty subjective so its unlikely that there will be an agreed choice on bringing some specific maps back. plus they were generally removed cuz they had gameplay issues

@ContagiousBubble So by you saying, "I'm just looking down at your idea," You are implying that my idea is bad, right? I don't know why you are so against me. You are trying to say that I'm stupid and my idea sucks, but in a nice way. You can't really do that. You could have just voted at the top that you want the revamped maps.

He never said you are stupid. But yes, he's saying your idea sucks. However, he said it in a nice manner, unlike you. He wanted to voice his opinion, nothing wrong with that. I'm not trying to start anything here so please don't start anything.
