Which class do you think is the most overpowered?

Mage is SO easy to kill if you have the right technique.

 

Yeah the right technique which includes not getting hit or trying to corner the mage into a close spot. Which only works if the mage sucks or if he's stupid.

When I play mage its easy as hell to take on 3 heavies at once, as you have so many escape options. You're not playing a hard class kiddo, its easy and hard to counter, especially with free classes.

Pyro. It's so easy to master. Also, why did you put mage there and not soldier? Mage may be annoying, but it is easy to kill.
Soldier however takes forever to kill. If you get close to them they'll just wall-climb to a spot you can't reach.

 

You do realize that it's SO easy to get killed by ONE skilled heavy like tysonyoshi? He knows how to deal with mage. The 3 heavies you're talking about barely know how to strafe.

 

Also, ninja and assassin are good counters to mage.

Its only easy if you're stupid. I've killed skilled heavies such as tysonyoshi and webmant in the past with ease. Your argument doesn't hold water against me, I've been here longer, you can't use the 'you're fighting unskilled people' argument with me.

Its interesting, all the heavies I know despise mages because they have a built in reset button known as the healing pot, and 4 other spells that help the opponent stay back and not get close to the mage.

You're not really arguing against me considering you just mentioned two premium classes. But I guess I'll talk anyways. According to several top tier mages I've talked to, and my own opinion, assassin and ninja differ from person to person. I find ninjas easy, others find assassins easy. Because at the end of the day, if you're assassin, you're depending on the mage to be bad in order to kill the mage. If the mage isn't bad, you're dead, because you can never actually get close to the mage. Ninja its even easier, if they tp to you, you just throw them off with the lightning, then the pew pew spells, and gg. Or, just tank the ninja hits with your heal, throw em off, pew pew, rip. Now, I agree ninja is still one of the better counters, but, even that can be countered by mage.

Anyways, if you want raw data:
As a skilled mage:
Damage spell misses about 25% of the time
Flame spell misses about 40% of the time
Freeze spell misses about 50% of the time
Lightning spell misses 25% of the time and when it hits it launches them towards you 50% of the time
Heal spell misses 20% of the time
What does all this mean?
25% of the time, any given class gains ground on a mage (DMG).
A mage can only momentarily stop a fight 50% of the time(Freeze).
20% of the time, a mage will not be healed properly(Heal).
So, if you do the odds, 1/40 of the time all 3 of these will occur and the mage will die. Each of the spells are fired off about 10-20 times in a long fight. So, a mage will almost always loose 1/2 to 1/4 of their fights. This would be for an endless 1v1. There are other players too, which makes it more like 1/2 to 1/3.

 

Come on Pyro is for sure the strongest ! With some luck and some skill its a great class , i guess Chemist can also be good ...

Chemist, pyro, and soldier occupy a balanced high tier of classes. These classes go with each other perfectly. However, when other classes are added in, this balance is upset because those classes are of the low tier. Pyro can wreck anything not soldier or chemist, chemist can wreck anything not pyro and not escaping like soldier, and soldier can get away from both pyro and chemist with ease.
Chemist counters Pyro and vice versa
Soldier counters Pyro and vice versa
Soldier can escape Chemist and vice versa (Speed, wall climb)
When fighting: Soldier and Chemist are about even.
There you have it.

They're not made up; those are my experience and they're approximate figures.

 

Why are you whining about me talking about mage? You're the only one whining here. Stop talking and get out if you can't even argue. Made up stats. If those stats are for you, then you must suck at mage. If you cant argue without making up numbers, I don't even know why you're here.

If you agree its so hard to cap with it, and only okay to recover, you must agree with me when I say it doesn't belong in ctf. Its here only to annoy the hell out of players, and should be changed to better fit the game.
