    although i dont rlly play archer anymore, when i did play i found the best strafing pattern for me was moving more forward/back as opposed to right/left. as is evident by what a lot of ppl have said on this thread, lots of good archers over think things and try to shoot at where you are gonna be, expecting you to move right/left, so if you move forward/back it makes things harder and it often messes up their aim a bit more cuz they have to keep adjusting.

    That is a good idea, but I believe that would come down to knowing your opponent. If your opponent is a very accurate shot and almost always expects you to move, then that should work fairly often. But if your opponent either doesn't often expect you to move or is an unreliable shot, it tends to come down to luck much more than it would in other cases. That's just my opinion, anyway.

    About 14% of my shots come down to luck. I'm just lucky, and that's how I'm more than just decently good.

    But then that still gives you about 86% accuracy. Still gud.
