    I believe if you have an item that can be right clicked in your hand that the offhand item will be overridden.

    Minecraft has gone too far, im playing the pocket verson over the the PC verson because its just not right. Its not minecraft anymore.

    1: Talking about the main post, I agree steaking while fighting isn't very great, but here's the thing: I doubt you'll be able to coninue striking while eating steak. Which makes second-hand steak no worse than hotkey steak.

    2: Too lazy to get the post from the first page to reply to, but I saw something about soldier not working without blocking anymore. Not true, actually; right clicking to climb still works, however you don't see the blocking effect anymore.

    3: In my opinion it's be unfortunate to have to see Assassin like 90% reworked. Check out this thread full of Assassin strategies; even though I don't even play Assassin, it would be a shame to see everyone's learning of those strategies to go to waste.

    This is why we should make assassin a burst high damage class that ignores blocking.

    True... Imo a 3-hit KO on any class is the only thing I'd accept. 2 is OP, 4 is UP. 3 is enough for people to notice the damage and strike back, though it can still be dealt in a rapid enough succession to get the KO.

    The first 1.9 snapshot has been released, and I don't think we're going to have a problem. It seems the game of CTF will go mostly unchanged, as you can choose whether or not to dual-wield. This might potentially increase the viability of some classes (Ninja, Chemist, Pyro), but overall things won't really change, as far as I can see.

    As of now dual wielding is no worse than hotkeying.

    As far as I can tell, Pyro will be able to hold the Axe and either the Bow or Flint and Steel at the same time. Other classes as far as I can tell won't change (though the potion effect arrows might merit an Elf rework ;D).

    I played with the 1.9 update and I believe that you can't have flint in your main hand and use your offhand. You can with a bow (I think) but the offhand will always be attack. Honestly even with the offhand it's no faster than hotkeying.

    I mean, maybe it's a little faster, but not really. It more so affects WarZ. I think you'll be able to use the Uzi (because it's not a tool and has a item-use action) in your main hand and, say, a spas in your offhand. In War, high tier guns can be rapidly combined as well. It's only slightly faster than hotkeying but I think they have a comboing slowdown there.

    That'll likely be fixed with the pyro nerf- they're talking about making it fire charges (like only 3) and making them like medic cobwebs.

    Why not just make it a selectable choice: if players don't want duel welding then it's their choice. Besides players can edit their inventory.

    Well also the shield will be a thing so how do u think the kits will very...

    Considering the shields aren't in-game at the moment, and the game is okay as is, probably not at all. What I'm saying is regardless of the addition it's not very likely we'll see any classes change.
