    @Sir_Inge and @Rhoske make very interesting packs which are for playing CTF

    After I saw how many players use many different texturepacks I was thinking about a solution so that noone has to change the whole textures.
    You guys know that you can use more than 2 texturepacks at the same time.
    My solution is to make "modifications" which change some items for one class (for example the redstone of the assassin will be changed to a akull because it is instakill or the ninja has a flashbang (csgo guys know that grenade) instead of the normal egg because the egg of the ninja is a flashbomb).
    Each class has one modification.
    Sadly you have to change the modifications after each class switch :frowning:
    Maybe Sir_Inge and Rhoske can make the same thing and upload it or just let the important items in their packs and delete the rest (blocks, map, gui, sounds, ...)

    I'm not sure if I really understand what you mean, like it changes textures every time you die? or is it a cosmetic perk?

    I've only edited certain parts of my texture pack, which means that you can overlay it onto any other texture pack and only the items that I've edited will be changed.

    Same here. My edits are more extensive and cover GUI and Armor, but if you use, say, faithful, you can overlay my pack on faithful and have faithful blocks still show.
    My flash bombs are just kinda stink bomb looking. I'll be changing red stone glow stone and sugar soon, though I really like that skull idea...

    rhoske and inge have already done sth like that but not for every class one they combined it to a whole texturepack
    these modifications you can overlay on faithful or any other pack just change the items what i changed
    the rest will look like faithful
    reuben what i meaned is when you die and you switch class than you have to switch the modification
    for example you were solider with the solider modifcation now you want to play archer.
    so you do /archer and switch to the archermodification
    hope you understand now what i meant

    Do you mean a mod-like thingy that not only sends the command to the server, but also to said mod that then changes the textures according to the classes?

    If you don't, ok. If you do, I see a problem there - what if an assassin comes at you whilst you are ninja holding invisibility? x.x Ach ja - wenn du es auf deutsch schreibst, übersetze ich es gerne (PM, Skype)

    You mean individual textures for each class? Hmm. It would take extra time if you switch often, but it doesn't sound like a bad idea.

    thats what i mean :smile:

    u mean that you install a mod which sees what class you use and switches automatically to the modification for the class
    (for example you have ninja and you have the archermodification on than the mod changes the modification to the ninjamodification automatically)

    Please for the love of god call them "Texturepacks" instead of "Modifications"
    A modification changes the way the game works while a texture pack changes the way the game LOOKS.

    Wouldn't be terribly difficult to code. It just needs to switch a resourcepack.

    Then if you're using more than a 100x100 texture pack, wouldn't it take so long to load?

    100x100 is an odd size, and anything under 128x shouldn't take more than 1-3 seconds.

    Oh whoops. Because when I used flows, I forgot the size of it and it took forever to download the maze texture pack.
