Okay this is my place. I'm surprised I haven't posted here 50 times already.
99% of the community has probably already seen my cat, it's basically all of what I talk about in skype chats...

Bumped again? Oh well, time to show off again because there has been quite a lot of time since my last visit here.

Goldfinch:

And then breeding season happened, so tons of young birds.
Cuckoo:

We don't know if this one was hatched on the island or if it migrated here, since of course you don't have adults hanging around feeding the nestlings when you're talking cuckoos.

Oystercatcher:
As long as the ground-breeding birds' nestlings are still flightless, they're relatively easy to catch.

Lesser black-backed gull:

These don't just get metal rings, but also colour rings in addition, so you can identify the individuals only with the use of binoculars. Look at that ring, it's so easy to read it as opposed to engraved steel or aluminium.

Common murre:
Common murre nestlings jump off the breeding cliffs at the age of about three weeks, when they can't fly yet. Most make it to the water, but we pick up those who don't and ring them before we put them on the other side of the wall protecting the cliff.

Just a very exquisite selection of birds from May to July, I don't even know how many species I've had in my hands in the last year, but it's somewhere between 50 and 100. If you want a wider selection, it's probably best to contact me on Skype or Discord or somewhere else outside this thread.
