Lets stop the hate in CTF

Ha. It's very ironic how you 'correct' others for making obvious hate jokes on this topic, while at the same time you are hating on the community by calling it a mess. Tell me, who appointed you overlord of the CTF community to make sure that we are all politically correct?

I think its a great idea to hate less in CTF but let's accept the fact that there will be conflict and try to manage it better, as that seems both realistic and reasonable for a community of people ages 12-19 (for the most part).

 

Lmao, I actually posted a really preachy speech on the thread to see how you guys would react. In return, I was given a really good laugh so thanks for that. Also, I never intended to hate on your community but you have some people who need to shut up for 5 minutes.

The only people who are promoting hate are those "victim-players" who immediatly /a (scream/yell) and cause drama everytime when something happens what they don't like.

 

I'm willing to bet that about 90-95 percent of "hate" (as you describe it Duck) would be solved if CTF had a proper ignore command that did more than just PMs.

 

Has anyone ever realized that you don't need a /ignore to ignore somebody?

Like, seriously, if somebody's hating on you for whatever reason, just agree with them non-stop, be friendly, and realize that they're just some guy typing words on a keyboard and you're the one putting meaning into them.

If somebody calls you an asshat, just say 'yep, yep I am' and move on. It confuses people.

Have you ever realized that if you're not careful about how you satirize something you end up actually doing what you're making fun of?

Also it's not chap's fault we're flaming you guys, although telling us to hate on somebody innocent instead of someone who might have instigated a flame war is hypocritical, and hilarious as a result.

So sure, you were just trying to get a laugh. You came across as an idiot though so I hope you laughed hard and made it worth it.

You hit the nail on the head regarding this issue ponyguy. I'm getting so tired of those people who immediatly yell in /a "I'm hated and targetted!" Whenever you kill them...
