    Dwarf

    Hai nubs. Dwarf is currently a snowball class with no really interesting gameplay mechanics, and detracts from the game as a whole, so it needs a rework. Here is my attempt at one xd

    Armor:
    [IMG]

    Hotbar:
    [IMG]

    Abilities:
    [IMG][/IMG] [IMG] Ground Pound: Right clicking this causes anybody in a 4x4 radius around the dwarf to be knocked back 5 blocks and up 6, dealing 2.5 hearts of true damage in the process, but granting fall damage immunity for 2 seconds. Has a 5 second cooldown.

    [IMG] Fire Smash: Right clicking this lights anyone in a 4x4 radius (same as the Ground Pound) for 1 second, dealing 2.5 hearts of damage.

    [IMG] Dwarven Fury: Right clicking this gives the Dwarf Speed I, Night Vision, and Strength I for 3 seconds. Has a 10 second cooldown.

    Indicators: An item being enchanted shows it is off cooldown, once it is on cooldown after being used, it stops glowing

    Note: Radius for Ground Pound and Fire Smash

    [IMG]
    White=Dwarf
    Black=Area of Effect (Where people have to stand for dwarves ability to affect them)
    Purple: Area where people hit by Ground Pound will be knocked back too (5 blocks out)

    OP Explanation:

    So Dwarf as currently is a class that snowballs to have an OP sword at the cost of it's mobility. The first thing I wanted to do was fix the slowness, because I think it's a bad idea in a fast paced game like CTF for any class to have a permanent slow. The next thing I did was take the abilities the dwarf gained from leveling up (Sharpness, Knockback, and Fire Aspect), and put them on some abilities (Ground Pound, Fire Smash, and Overhead Swing). To compensate for the increased mobility, I nerfed the armor. I put Dwarven Fury on the give dwarf an option to deal more damage, but I'm not sure if it's needed, I'll need some feedback on that.

    All cooldown values are subject to change as well as armor points, and well, numbers in general. This is more to discuss the general concept of shifting dwarf's abilities that are on 1 sword to 3 other ones, and getting rid of the slowness.

    Discuss.

    Too complex. It should take about 2 minutes to fully understand the mechanics of a class.

    IMO elf was pretty simple, but not overly simple, kinda like Mage.

    I found it complicated, but dash just me. Imo dis rework is pretty simple, right click the brick to knock stuff back, right click the firey blaze powder to light stuff on fire, right click the redstone for a power boost (like assassin), and right click the enchanting bottle to get speed and stuff.

    I think this is a nice rework, except I think it should only have the ground pound and the fire smash.

    +1ed, because the nice thing about this rework is that is not limited to a role. In fact, it is arguably better for capping than defending, what with the ability to slow enemies and deal with large crowds. Overhead Swing is completely out of place and non-synergistic.

    When you mean 4x4 radius, do you mean 4 blocks in every direction from the dwarf, or a 4x4 square with the dwarf in the center? (I'm just a tad confused)

    Also, would this ability affect the Dwarf's own team?

    Maybe its like precaution or something in case the Dwarf gets friendzoned in game ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    Anyway yeah, I agree it'd be good to clarify whether Dwarf can destroy both allies and enemies or just enemies. As for the idea itself, I like it for the most part but there are some bits that seem a little unreasonable.

    For one thing, this Dwarf is encouraged to be active in combat but it is not given enough armor or health to last very long. Because of this I would buff the armor a little (maybe iron helmet and chain leggings instead of leather or something) and add a steak.

    Another issue I had with this idea is how it would empower Pyro even more than it currently does with the Fire Smash - for example Dwarf could fire smash in the middle of 4 enemies and a Pyro could almost immediately get a quadra kill from that.

    Finally, I'd say Dwarven fury is absolutely needed for two reasons - the name is awesome and it is easily the biggest source of damage this reworked Dwarf has. The only issue I have with this idea is that it makes Dwarf a bit of an armored Ninja so I'd reduce the Speed to Speed I and lower the duration to 3.5 seconds (or so) to keep it from being too OP.

    White=Dwarf
    Black=Area where people are effected
    Purple=Area where people (from the black area) get knocked back too.

    @Ironic_Gentleman No, this would only effect enemies (would be gr8 trolling method if it didn't doe xd)

    @Admiral_Munson

    Allright, so I took a look at yur feedback and changed a few things:

    [IMG]

    [IMG] Overhead Swing: Removed (I dun think this is needed anymore, as the "sharpness" concept from the sword leveling up is reflected in the strength boost of the Dwarven Rage).

    [IMG][/IMG] [IMG] Dwarven Battleaxe: Added Sharpness I

    [IMG] Dwarven Fury: Right clicking this gives the Dwarf Speed I, Night Vision, and Strength I for 3 seconds. Has a 10 second cooldown. (Lessened cooldown in exchange for speed debuff, as well as the removal of Overheard Swing, makes this a more viable ability. In addition, removed the armor penalty.)

    [IMG] Fire Smash: Right clicking this lights anyone in a 4x4 radius (same as the Ground Pound) for 1 second, dealing 2.5 hearts of damage. (This allows the dwarf to deal the same firey damage, but doesn't light it's opponents on fire long enough for pyro to deal with more then one opponent, unless they are all really grouped, but still. I would prefer this to deal fire damage over time, but until pyro is reworked, this would have to do)

    It took me 2:01 to learn how to assassin someone properly.

    Class Overview:
    I like how you said and implemented that it shouldn't have the snowball effect or the permanent slow, but I want to see more of the defensive side of it. Dwarf was originally created to be a defensive class and in order to avoid people from running away from the flagroom they added Slowness.

    So I think that the dwarf should still keep the Slowness.

    Weapon and Armor:
    It's fine.

    Passive Abilities:

    None

    Active Abilities:
    Dwarven Fury: If you don't want to add Slowness 1, the 3 seconds of use should be increased, maybe to 5 seconds, close to one speed boost of an assassin.

    Fire Smash: This ability is fine, an alternative to fire could be poison. But I guess adding fire can contribute to more of a team-based game. Dwarf and Pyro

    :smile: gj

    Allright, I just updated the main post with changes, so look at those.

    Well, I wanted to get dwarf away from it's defensive aspect. It's still extremely effective as a defensive class, due to it being able to knock people away from the flag, and light them on fire. In addition, it does nice damage, has a power boost, and is pretty tanky. We don't want to discourage players from leaving the flagroom with slowness, in fact, this dwarf should leave the flagroom and play a more active role anywhere the player wants it too.

    I think 3 seconds is enough based on the 10 second cooldown. It's not meant for mobility, it's meant to do extra damage on someone.

    I fixed the pyro problem, check main post.

    Thanks for da feedback.
