Can ya help a noob out?

I was tag what you need? Chemist assistance? I can hook you up anytime my boy! Anyway, just a word of advice, please don't go and download a ghost client, they're for people who can't accept the fact they're bad at pvp so they need to pay to get a hacked client that is essentially undetectable. Anyway, about what Ironic said, I have now actually switched from my sprint being "Q" to now "Caps Lock" since it is a lot easier to strafe with, but yea, the last time back on MCPvP I was strafing only to one side sprinting, and the other side non sprinting. So kind of a mix, but it really was just one side being effective.

 

I used to be very bad at pvp because I would play in a couch with my chromebook sitting in my lap and my mouse on the cushion next to me. One day, I got a desk. My skill went from 0 to a little below average in a few days. Now, I am pretty good at pvp. You just gotta keep working at it. The thing that drove me to become better at pvp was the fact that Defiance needed a heavy. I still haven't played heavy in any matches, though.

I find that getting good at scrolling is pretty helpful (kitpvp is good practice) but having a hotkey to 1 is what will help you the most if you don't already. Many cheap mice have 1 or 2 buttons near your thumb, which is what I use (though I did have to take it apart and fix it once but you get what you pay for, and it works just fine now). I got mine at best buy for like $15.
Also holding down sprint is helpful for getting combos, I just curl my pinkie and use control but there are probably a ton of better ways to do this.
That's about all I use, though R is my change perspective button because I get scurred of assassins and the boogieman. It won't really help you play classes like chemist without practicing but it does the job.

As some other people said, archer just takes lots of practice to master. I used to have such a laggy computer a few years ago. That's why I picked up archer before. Also, f3+b is a great way to clearly see where you missed.

I may have my own opinion, but hitboxes seem to be a huge distraction for me when I shoot.

 

Um, practice practice, annnnnnd practice
Honestly, it's not that bad to learn how to hotkey. Just start out with steaking and 1-2
Then try medic with webs so 1-2-3
Then you can Pyro / Ninja with 1-2-3-4
Then you can mage to your 5 slot for heal, and mage is a good class to learn how to kotkey up to 5 consistently
Chemist is a good class to learn how to use all of your keyboard. I started with hotkeying to 6, then slowly increased it. Although I can't hotkey to 9 (my fingers are too small) I can hotkey well 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8
Another good exercise that I was told from a friend is this
Press the keys with your hotkeying fingers in this order
1-2-1-3-1-4-1-5-1-6-1-7-1-8-1-9
Anyways, that's what I did (with a ton of practice)
