Most embarrasing CTF noob moments.

I thought to heal as ninja you had to crouch AND block until the end of like 2013 when someone asked in the chat how to heal as ninja and the answer was crouch.

 

I was alone in a game, no teammates, no opponents and I tried to find out how to play the game objectively. It took me 5 tries until I managed to get my first capture ever. Before that I tried to take the flag into spawn, throw it into spawn, destroy it by throwing it into the void, and throwing it at the flagpost (waiting until the 15 second reset timer had run out).
I also went killwhoring with soldier, coming up with a fighting style where I spent 90% of the time leaping up with my wall-climbing ability, hoping to take less hits that way.

 

sorry for double posting i completely forgot about this one:

i thought for the insta kill axe you just had to hit people and they'd die, so i didn't play pyro for the longest time and i'd rage that i couldn't kill them. people then told me i was actually ****ing stupid and i had to use the fire...c:

 

What... what else could it mean?

well that "joke" wasn't really funny. I'm pretty sure he was being serious. This could just be another noob moment for me 2 then...

Yep another one of those moments.... seems like you have a lot of them.

 

I didn't know that the pyro arrow had to be fully pulled back to set people on fire
I would try and cap a flag and then realize you never picked up the flag (still happens)
Attacking someone on my team

 

There was a time that it didn't... Those were the good times : )

 

I've been ghost capping on flagrooms when the flag was already stolen for 4 years now.

Ha same unfortunately, but tbh, I don't remember dying to assassins that much back then.

A friend told me about the game when I joined so I didn't have as much trouble with noob moments even though I was a noob :^ )
