Why are a lot of mage mains salty

Dual wielding spells won't help.

 

Basically a lot of people need to stop hating on mage just because they get killed by one. I killed like two people and they both started raging at me and calling me names (which isn't funny at all) but its just because they are very mad.

 

I laugh at ragers. They're pitiful little people.

 

Yeah. Best thing to do when you get pissed off of to just cool down. If you get mad, you'll just tilt and play worse. Not to mention people will think you're an idiot.

The only Issue I have against Mage is that there are no free counters to it. Archer can arguably kill a Mage at long range, but with proper dodging skills it shouldn't be an issue for the Mage unless it gets caught off guard. When I had no premium classes, Mages were nightmares. Now that I have classes like Ninja, Assassin, and Elf, Mages aren't a huge issue for me anymore, but I can imagine how all the free players must hate them.

The mage nerf makes some sense I think the damage spell range reduction was smart because it was too long (this is coming from someone who has recently been maining mage). I dont think damage reduction on the damage spell makes sense though at all. Nerfing the damage by as much as I've seen proposed is absurd and mage would basically deal no damage. A smaller nerf would make sense. People get mad because they think mage is just a class where you backpedal and spell spam. While I agree some people do that there is also a strategy to it of comboing your spells to stay alive and deal damage in many situations. People are getting salty because they cant just spell spam for archer-like range and backpedal anymore because you have to be closer to hit spells. Simple as that imo.

 

I sorta agree. Pick one, Nom: damage or distance.

I agree. I play Mage a lot, and I get called a spell spammer a lot. It's not spamming spells when you're using all 5 spells to deal damage. Sure, there are times where I backpedal and use a bunch of damage spell; those are the times where I'm super low on health and there's a Ninja after me. ._.

P.S. Damage spell's damage was reduced, but it was unintended. I've already told nom and he's working on reverting it to it's old values but he's traveling at the moment so expect it within a few days I'd assume along with some other fixes.
