Chemist archer damage

Im a pretty experienced chemist and I think the counter is over the top on damage now. You say its easy to strafe have you tried strafing an archer before under the conditions I have to? Litearly one mistake is all it takes and its game. One misstep or slowdown for even half a second and the archer has a arrow combo on you and there goes all your health pots. Its part of the reason why I gave up trying to use chemist, Now even a noob who has no earthly clue how to play archer can just casually walk up and take me out at his earliest convenience. No im not saying the counter needs to be removed, What im saying is tone it down. As is right now even the lightest hit from an archer requires an instant heal cause they can follow up with a fully charged shot that will drop you right on the next hit. Its so insanely powerful that even the most experienced chemists can now be dropped like they are lambs to the slaughter by entry level archers. That doesn't really make the game fun that just makes it infuriating and not worth playing.

 

@blackfurrykitty that's fair enough, but chemist is good in every melee matchup except against archer, and archer is bad in every melee matchup except against chemist. Combine that with the fact that archer-chemist matchups are rare and generally occur in places that are disadvantageous to the archer (where there's loads of other enemies) and it doesn't really feel unbalanced at all.

 

You say its rare but not with a strategically playing archer in a match (given specific maps). Players actually pass archers quite often both in and out of their headshot range. But even if it is rare, it shouldn't be unbalanced when it comes up.
