without engineer, ninja would be completely overpowered, just walk around the turret or teleport over it. not really that difficult if one engineer is guarding one of many entrances you rarely see more then 1 engineer on a team

Gotta love it when ghost cappers complain about engineer because they cant ghost cap it cause an engineer is blocking the entrance :arghh:. Seriously, Engineer turrets are now supposed to do this and shouldnt get nerfed until ninja gets nerfed again. Ghost cappings weaknesses are engineer turrets, lucky ninja recoverers, some pyros, and dwarves. Sorry to say, but engineers ghost detecting turret is not its problem, its actually more of a perk.

I agree with this. Would engineer not be able to target ninjas, the purpose of engineer would be greatly reduced. Looking at the main role of engineer, we see that it isn't necessarily to kill farm, but rather to create a type of wall that reduces the number of paths the enemy can take. The role of a ninja is to use stealth and cunning to move behind enemy ranks and steal/recover/capture the flag. These two classes, though very different, are actually created to be this way. The simple solution to this problem is, as a ninja, to scout out the general map and create a less travelled path. This should take them around behind turrets and allows them to avoid many of the enemy team. Engineers, though op, are generally vulnerable due to the entire enemy team attempting to take them down. This is why I believe the two classes actually balance out.

I remember the good old Days where engineers would line up their turrets creating a wall. </3

Which, like spawn blocking, was actually quite broken and thus patched.
    sadly

Tbh. I think broken classes are more fun then "balanced" because it makes them a challenge. Now, Engineer on that waterfall map was completely different
