How about Brawl adds a class that's as fast as ninja? Better yet, replace ninja with two classes that are just as fast and have ender pearls but different sets of abilities that are more appropriate to defense and offense?

 

So let's make some classes than can literally outrun (or generally out-speed) every other class in the game, and give them more armor than ninja and some decent abilities, while ninja has its armor removed to compensate for its tremendous mobility in order to not make it OP? Great idea!

 

Your proposed class idea isn't very balanced so I'll propose the one I had in mind.
Defensive Ninja:
• Golden Cap
• Sword that heals but doesnt restore. Cool down per player of 3 seconds.
• Ender pearl that is limited through the use of a 5 second cool down
• Regular Medic Regeneration
• Stack of Sugar that will buff the player with Speed 2 when it's on hand only. Disabled for 3 seconds when you steal the flag.
• 5 Flash Bombs
• No redstone (Basically becomes obsolete for offensive use)

Offensive ninja:
• Regular Sword
• Ender Pearl with 5 second cool down
• Half a stack of Redstone. (Forces player to use it wisely)
• 1 Sugar that temporarily gives speed boost for 5 - 10 seconds. Can only be restored through medic heal. When you get the flag, it's disabled for 3 seconds. (Will prevent players from activating it before pearling out of the room.)
• No Flash Bombs (They cause me nausea IRL)
• No Regeneration

My idea is still raw but it's workable from my private testing. Will need to host a match with the appropriate changes in order to fully test it out but i have confidence in my idea.

However, a solution to this, and something I do often, if I see a ninja on the flag post, I usually pearl into them. Not only does it distract them it often knocks them off guard, and puts you right on their front door hopefully giving you a chance to recover.

 

I get the impression that you saw none of the sarcasm in my post.

That's if you're playing ninja tho ;-; classes like heavy or even sometimes pyro can't reach them so well.

 

But they can deal a hell lot of damage in flagroom. And like 7/10 times i steal i pearl straight into a heavy or archer at mid

 

Ye, it's quite often really difficult to do, but as I said earlier, the way in which it's done is what drives people crazy.

 

just knock them off before they cap xd
