It was easy to tell it was a joke. Srsly if u thought they were serious then u have never experienced the internet on April fools. Stop being butthurt cuz mcpvp is ded for a reason. Brawl is doing a solid B job. I dont think the joke is too soon cuz its been MONTHS ppl. Learn to adapt

Tho I dont like how brawl has handled some things (classes, moderating, flag delay, )
But as long as ctf isnt total **** i find that idrc too much about the base server. We are the strongest community and i think brawl needs to listen more. We need reforms in how ctf is run. But all that being said Im happy with some things they did tho (stats, nerfs, forums).

@LordChaos_92 (I think you're the one who mentioned this lol) For some reason I have hardly even considered the fact that Brawl is the one keeping CTF alive in the first place. I have been grateful that CTF didn't end up dying sooner than it eventually will (and am I the only one who doesn't mind the nerfs [though I kind of agree with some chemist complaints]?), but now I realize I can intentionally thank Brawl for it.

 

Guys let's just take a deep breath, relax, and not get into meaningless message board wars that will inevitably destroy this community from the inside out.

Honestly, this community should have been obliterated years ago if arguments like this could tear us apart xD

True, you could have played in beta, but let's not also forget the state of ctf has also changed in beta and so you still wouldn't know about the current ctf environment. I would still argue you don't know much about ctf whether you did or didn't play in beta.

I've considered this, but then it depends on how much of a responsibility the owner of wool CTF (@KirbysDreamLand???) is willing to take on. Having owned a small server before, I know it's hard to get players online, but occasionally when an unprepared-for amount of players are suddenly online all at once, games can get out of control, the minimal staff is not enough to moderate the players (which was often myself alone), and the server's resources get sucked up pretty quickly and lag takes over. So pretty much, more players is much more expensive in almost every way, and that requires upgrading fast enough to start making some good profit. When it comes to an entire CTF community--even what's left of it--migrating over to a server, things could possibly get out of hand if he's not ready.

 

Oh look another soap opera, but this one is between old mcpvper's and brawlers instead of CTFer's and some ducky guy. Time to grab the popcorn

Honestly, i'm on both sides. While i agree sometimes brawl hasn't been cooperative with the reworks, but i'm I'm still grateful i can hop on to CTF because of brawl.
But honestly, why would you spend weeks planning an april fools joke while necro or dwarf could be fixed?

 

Tbh it probably took 2 hours max. But still, point agreed.
