Team matches are pointless

I would like this idea, but as stated it would be difficult. I do think there should be a distinction between the league games and officials:

Leagues should have more strict rules and also a strict schedual (mabye not one every week, but mabye one every two weeks or in a set amount of time). This also effects mabye a seed in a tourney or something.

Officials should stay the same, and shold be considered as important as the league games, just not be counted towards seeds.

The matches for league for a team probably shouldn't be every weekend because of difficulty getting players and what not, so that's why I suggest more of a period of time to do x amount of matches.

 

Ctf matches have become rather bland, although it is my favorite part of ctf im slowly growing bored of it. There is too much parody, the good teams will always be the good teams unless there is a fair way to prove they are better. Too many of the "good" teams pray off of lesser teams. By doing that how does that make them better than other teams that challenge themself in matches against "good teams" and narrowly lose. Too much today u see the teams with the best records not going against other top teams. A league would introduce a new element of competition which is lacking today. Some sort of prize similar to ctf team tourney would be nice. But this would b an accurate judge of team power. All teams play eachother with same rules, sizes, and a select pool of maps voted on by the reps themselves. This ofc would only work for officials. unofficials will and always will be trainwrecks. Some teams are starting to not play many unoffs anymore because lesser teams with really good mercs will get the mercs to carry and having it be an unoff means rules arent really enforced and limits are easily disregarded. It is stupid and it wont change. But there is still hope for official matches. League = Competition and Something new. Continue with nonsence today and u have a downhill trend of ctf match quality.
