This would mean people would switch to the winning team before the game ends, which is something we're trying to avoid.

Also it is worth noting that these numbers are not final. We ran some tests with credits before, players already earned credits and they were stored by Nom. It showed that on average, players earned ~5,000 credits a week, 9,000 at a high level and very few players reached 18,000 a week. Due to this, the cost of classes was set to 30,000 credits, which means playing CTF for a bit more than a month to buy one class. This excludes brawl boosters that would increase credit income for all on the server and additional ways of gaining credits we haven't implemented yet.

So we will let this run for a bit and see how much people earn in a certain timeframe, and might alter the class price according to that. As you buy the classes permanently, the time you spend playing until you can buy a class should not be too low, or you will have all classes very soon and the situation will be similar to Free Fridays/dreaded free ELITE "week".

What if we paid for those classes? Are we keeping them or are you just taking our money...

You still get to keep your classes.

Like everyone else is saying, lower class costs (my suggestion is 7.5k credits each)

In that case I've already earned like two classes, while it's been barely a month since the credits were put in place, and I don't no-life ctf very much these days. Number's gotta be higher, js. :stuck_out_tongue:

But what if someone can't buy things online (don't have a card, don't have the money, some other sort of restriction?)

No. You can only buy them with in-game credits.

I have just joined again (last time was few years ago) and I was happy to see a change to this new system, but it is impossible for me to get 30k for a new class... really hope it will be lowered.

The first class is 10k credits, unless you've already unlocked one before.

Because there are already 4 free classes to choose from. All of them can be used very effectively on any map.

Do we at least have the "all classes free" day weekly like it was when I last played?
