    We all know Engineer needs a rework
    (And we all know its not getting removed. Lugia put the chair down!) so i took the liberty to throw out some ideas that will probably get ignored anyways, but to hell with it lets do this.


    REWORK #1 (Turret Stuff. Pandering)

    Normal engineer armor

    Engineer Pickaxe
    (Sharpness 1)

    Engineer Manuel Override

    Entry Teleporter (4 second charge)

    Exit Teleporter (4 second charge)

    Turret: Now heres where it gets different, right-clicking the turret with the wooden sword will bring up a menu similar to the "Do you like this map" screen. There are four choices to choose from;

    Cobblestone Block (Basic mode)
    Normal turret functioning
    (Change 3 shots=1 turret health to 2 shots)

    Lapis lazuli Block (Long ranged mode)
    Shoots at 1/3 of normal turret speed, 20 block range, +1.5 damage, 1 shot=1 turret health

    Gold Block (Rapid fire mode)
    Shoots at double normal turret speed, 2 hearts base damage, 3 shots=1 turret health

    Diamond Block (Piercing mode)
    Shoots at 75% normal turret speed, 2 hearts true damage, 1 shot=1 turret health

    Turret must be destroyed before you can change the mode again. Block type changes bottom block of turret (normally wool color that nobody cares about)

    Regenerator (change regen 5 to regen 3)

    4 Engineer steaks


    This rework Nerfs the regenerator, teleporters and also slightly nerfs the base turret, while giving a few different options for the turret to be specialized for different situations

    REWORK #2 (Structure Priority)

    Normal Engineer armor

    Engineer Pickaxe

    (Sharpness 1)

    Entry&Exit Teleporters:left clicking "prioritizes" the teleporters, boosting their functions while weakening the turret and regenerator. (Becomes gold pressure plates)

    when prioritized the teleporters are changed to a 2 second recharge time, and can be accessed both ways. (Teleporters will not function for flagholders) when another structure is prioritized, the teleporters have a 6 second recharge time.

    Turret: Left-clicking the turret "prioritizes" it, boosting its abilities while the other two structures are weakened. The Turrets range is boosted by 5 blocks and its health is boosted to 20.

    (Has nether fence when prioritized) When another structure is prioritized, the turret has 10 health, .75 fire rate, and cannot see invisible ninjas
    [ [][][][][] ]

    Regenerator (base regen changed to 4) right-clicking the regenerator "prioritizes" it, boosting its abilities while weakening the other structures. Prioritized regenerators restock items and gives regeneration 5 for 3 seconds. (changes glass to pink stained glass for red team, light blue for blue team) When another structure is prioritized the regenerator gives regeneration 3, and regens cake at half the normal rate.

    4 Engineer Steak


    (Note; only 1 structure type can be prioritized at a time, all structures must be in your inventory in order to change priority)


    This rework focuses on making engineer more strategic, allowing it to focus on what a team needs at the moment, while self nerfing its other structures at the same time.



    Bothe reworks are made off of my own thoughts about engineers and public opinion on reworks and nerfs that should be made. Please don't be afraid to ask questions, suggestions, or provide feedback.

    I like both of them. I can't decide which one I like more. Maybe the first one?

    They both have some interesting concepts. The first one seems a tad complicated, but both have some interesting ideas. Nice job ^^
