    Everyone says we need a free class for recovery, so I (special kudos to @KeetyFeesh for giving me the idea) decided to design this class

    Barbarian
    •Iron Helmet
    •Leather Tunic (team color)
    •Chain Leggings
    •Chain Boots


    Slot 1: Barbarian Axe (Iron Axe)
    Sharpness II, x7 axes

    Slot 2: Barbarian steak x4

    Slot 3: Rage (Blaze Powder)

    Slot 8: Class Selector

    Slot 9: Compass


    Abilities:

    Passively takes 1/2 damage from ranged attacks,
    gains 1 steak for every kill maxing at 5

    Barbarian Axe: right clicking throws the axe a maximum distance of 10 blocks, does 2 to 3 hearts of damage and 1 heart of true damage, can be held down to keep throwing them, at the cost of losing your melee weapon.
    (Regenerates an axe every 7 seconds)


    Rage: right click to activate, Barbarian receives Strength II (0:05), Resistance I (0:05) and instantly breaks all placed structures within a 4 block radius, the Barbarian also becomes immune to headshots and Assassination during the duration of the ability (20 second recharge time, cannot be regained by medic heal)



    Don't freak out about the spammable axes, they leave the Barbarian totally exposed with no melee attack once their all gone, and they have to wait the duration of a mage healing spell recharge to get one single axe back.

    This class also hard counters engi due to its passive resistance to the turret and ability to break all of its structures very quickly. It would also be decent against mages due to its ranged attack and resistance to them. It is countered by assassin and tankier classes than itself.

    I don't think this class fits into the game well. Since this is a recovery class, you need to think of how it would counter some (not all) of the main capping classes (heavy, soldier, medic, chemist).

    I agree with @SoCool21. If it's a recovery class, then it needs to be able to counter Heavy, Soldier, Chemist, etc. You said it got countered by tank classes, so it wouldn't be able to recover off of the main capping classes (see his reply).

    This is an interesting idea, but I think it would be a little ridiculous if the barbarian repeatedly fought/killed Ninjas. I do like the 1/2 damage from ranged attacks, but would an Archer shooting it with an arrow from 5 blocks away be classified as "ranged"? That would need to be a little more defined.

    I mean with the ranged attacks as "any attack that isn't melee, however A bowspamming archer might as well melee if that's what your going for there.
    I can see where your coming from with the whole rage thing. I was thinking of just making it the axes and passives to keep it simple but felt it would be kind of weak. Plus Engineers need some sort of counter to there stupid indoor spots.
    This rework was more "on the fly" then most of mine so I didn't think it all the way through. I'll see what I can do to fix that issue.

    Those are some strong axes for melee combat you got there. 7.5 damage, but I'm more worried about the strength. You just might be able to one-shot a ninja if done a critical hit. But I like the concept, it's simple but a bit overly strong. I recommend to wait 'till things have settled down with CTF before class ideas so you can get better feedback from higher ranked peeps.
