Resignation chickenputty has to go!

Brawl officially died today.

 

I haven't played on brawl is so long this is probably the 2 or 3rd server I ever joined , I've know you or of you since the beginning. But I heard from a friend your retiring and that's crazy! I start playing before this website was a thing , probably about end of 2012 is was 12 or 13 and now I'm 17 so just wow, I don't even know if you remember me , you probably remember my brother (dwarfiest was a mod for short time) factions was lit , i mean the best thing in my opinion and everyone in Navy United , TTTT , CIA , and PonyWaffen (shout-out to you guys who might or might not see this) would agree , that brawl ever had.And for anyone else who was around back then it was amazing, anyways its sad to see you go but I wish you good luck in life dude! #throwback

 

I didn't know you as well as some of the other staff members, but when ever I would talk to you on team speak, or need you for anything, you were always there. I did in fact see this coming, as your activity slowly declined, but I kept telling myself "he can't leave yet, not yet". Anyways you're getting older now and Brawl is not a way to make money. Wherever you may go, I hope it ends well.

I was looking through Forums and looking at recent posts then I saw this. I truely have no words to say to this except for the fact that it's horrible to see you go. You were amazing. You've done a lot to Brawl and I think a ton of us are going to miss you more than ever. Stay cool, and I hope you make good choices in life.

I don't know what to say. For so long you have been here. For so long whenever I've thought of Brawl it always been Putty and Chap appearing on my mind. I would like to say a massive thank you for everything you have done for Brawl, and for me. You are one of the most influental persons I have ever met, and a person I have always looked up to. A person which kindness and his will to listen is the reason to Brawl's success, and his will to give people chances. If you never would have given people chances I certainly wouldn't be here today, and so many others. I am extremely grateful for the chance you gave me back then, 2 years ago. Since then you have just continued to prove how great of an administrator you are - it is a real talent you have, keep that in mind. Whenever I had an idea, you were there to listen, to give advice, and whether you wanted to use it or not, you still listened. And for all the times I have got to talk to you on TS during these two years, thank you. You can be serious about things but also laugh, which is important, especially when managing a network like this. I remember I once said for myself "when Putty leaves I will leave". I said it because I really wouldn't have any connection anymore to this community after you would have left. I will also never forget how happy I was after you told me that my maps were amazing. You are a wonderful person Putty, never forget that.

You came here, you developed, and you succeeded. But I guess times change - and so do we. It's a battle against the clock. I can feel that Brawl has had its glory days, years 2013 and 2014 is really where it's at. I completely understand and respect your decision to move on, we all must some day. Because when it has come to the point that one can no longer develop by working on a certain project, we know our time has come. Whatever you will be up to in the future, I wish you best of luck.

Brawl was an awesome community. During its days in glory I believe that everyone, and I really mean everyone, up to this day appreciate Brawl and what you did for it. Although we saw all these negative threads, I'm sure that they deep in their hearts appreciated that they could play on a Minecraft community called Brawl.

You are right about Eula killing Minecraft. Since the banning period the number of players has dropped considerably.

If this server is so hard up it can't pay an admin then it means that 2.0 development will stall out and die and the server will cease to bring in revenue.

Stick to your principles that your time is worth compensation.

You are an adult now and you should be paid.

One of your biggest fans for the last couple of years. You've done an amazing job with the resources, budget, and time that you had.

My hope is that @Chap develops a plan to gain more players or this server is going under.
