Wild West seems to be competing against WarZ and KitBrawl in toxicity :x

KitBrawl's and WarZ's in-game community is winning, though Wild West's rant/community threads win by a mile.

Granted you were going to the right direction first c:

 

False, Wild West actually has one of the best communities in my opinion, and this is backed up by how many great staff members have come from Wild West. It's unfortunate that a few players make our community look so bad, and it is really disappointing to be honest.

 

I agree with all/most off what @enderdragon3615, @SoCool21 and you @TheTrogs have said, but to be perfectly honest, i have seen aspect in how the sheriffs play which might lower the playercount. I can see @Carcano has a point here.

I am trying to come up with ideas to fix this, but it isnt easy.

You'll meet some of the nicest people on brawl on ww. It is sad that just a handfull off individuals make it look so bad.

 

The player count earlier:
I think this list has gotten s high that game is finally getting balanced. Instead of players being pushed away by joker trying to destroy ww, people are staying for drop parties (@Muuminpappa ) and peaceful processing events (me and @JustFamouz ) People are wanting to stay because they feel they are thriving rather than being destroyed by constantly dying. I promised Kommune after the drop party that I wouldn't kill them. I did this because I don't want people getting annoyed because they felt like they were thriving but they end up with nothing.

Sheriffs may be inactive, but as it has been stated many times, sheriffs can't just make money without people on. If a sheriff was alone on the server, I don't really know how much you make from mining, but let's just say it's around 10k. If you left a bandit alone at Wildgrass they would make around 30k. Sheriffs aren't going to want to make this little money an hour.

So obviously, a sheriffs' job is to arrest people doing illegal activity. What if there is no illegal activity happening? You expect a sheriff to sit in HQ for half an hour waiting for rogue; OFC!

When I was a sheriff, I nearly always typed in chat 'gg' or 'gf' or something along those lines. I sometimes sparked up a conversation during the waiting period. I sometimes never got a reply, and I thought that to be okay. Maybe they thought it wasn't a good fight. I rarely ever got toxic comments.

Now, balancing a game is always going to be difficult with such a scattered player count. Sometimes the player count is 5, and sometimes as showed up there, 50. Balancing gear is going to be difficult. You need to have some distinction between the 2 teams so it will always be difficult.

Toxicity with sheriffs is firstly: Not a problem. Everyone has a tipping point. I would generally call myself a happy person, but when I got banned, I got angry. I got a little toxic. No one can be perfect and everyone has flaws. It is just a part of life.

Sheriffs getting free gear. WTF DO YOU EXPECT? Police irl are well known for having to buy their clothing and batons. What if the sheriffs ran out of money? Are they no longer sheriffs? Do they just run into the battlefield naked?

Calling backup. (Another one of these...) WTF DO YOU EXPECT?Generally, let's say bandit teams come in around 4... 4v1, I gotta admit, I'm not liking the sheriff's odds here.
