Oneshot classes

Honestly, this sounds much better than the current archer, although I doubt it would ever be implemented or even play tested.
It gets to a point where a one shot kill is just... boring; a little too easy. Now this isn't me attempting to bolster my ego here, it's just the way it is; anybody can play archer, getting a headshot is not hard. There's no challenge, no drawbacks, no strings attached. The only downside is the inevitable targeting that will occur because archer is one of, if not the most, annoying classes on ctf. It's really bad when I can't even play a class without feeling sorry for everybody else.

 

There is something OP about it, but then you have underground, cover, a class that can make the long range one shots long range one shots on the other team.

 

There's a big difference between casual and competitive gameplay. Archers in a casual game can end up being everywhere and make it hard to move around freely. In matches, however, it is typically limited and used to hamper the other team without an overwhelming amount of spam. At this point staff has to keep both casual and competitive matches in mind when coming up with changes for a class, which can make it extremely difficult since no one wants to have to adapt to a completely different game.
