    Lol when did I say compasses cant be used to follow someone? Do you have any idea how fast a horse is too? And I think it makes sense to assume things if you don't do something in detail.

    So you're saying that the horseman class can 1-shot a heavy? Plus the armor is the same as the medic and the damage is slightly more powerful than the heavy's sword.
    I like the class, there could be some tweaks with it as well. I do have to agree with @Pat_The_Trick about the speed of the horse, but there could probably be a time limit for how long you can use the horse, like 8 seconds or something. I had the same concept of this idea and I had an perk for the horse. While riding the horse, you can run over enemies to deal damage to them. +0.88

    The speed can be limited to 6 blocks a second, players run at 4 blocks a second. Ninjas are waaay faster than that. Again, all of your arguments are based off assumptions which you shouldn't make if you don't have the detail.

    What does it take for people to actually read man, it says in the description that the speed is limited and you're talking about not knowing how fast a horse is, cmon man.

    I like the running over idea, but for that to be effective you'd need a horse faster than 6 blocks a second, a Ninja could just strafe and wreck.

    This is defintly worth testing. It'd serve as a unique class for CTF and would really push it torwards the more recent updates in 1.8+ Plus, it'd be pretty fun I imagine and would attract the newer players.

    It just needs testing and a few tweaks. Good job.

    It's definitely an interesting concept that can easily become a well-crafted class idea, however there are some key elements missing from the concept that keep it in such a stage.

    First, there is no intended niche for this class to fill. While it is an interesting class idea, the fact that it doesn't fill a role at present leaves the class in a precarious situation. It can still develop from a concept into an idea, but without a niche, there is little hope that it will be effective or viable in the current CTF game. If you want your class concepts to become viable ideas, ensure that they fill a specific niche not currently filled in CTF. For example, this class could be used as a recovery class, because of its speed, however the abilities of the class doesn't allow for this class to be used in this way effectively, meaning it is meant to fill some unspecified and currently unneeded niche.

    Second, good job about thinking your horse ability through to include specifics about its health, speed, jump height, and if it can be respawned, however, there are still a few issues with this ability. Are you still able to grab the flag while mounted? Can you summon your horse if you already have the flag? Can the horse be headshotted? Will turrets target you or your horse first? Will zombies targed you or your horse first? Can you actually dismount your horse, as you said "there is no way of getting off your horse?" Every detail, no matter how small, matters.

    There are a few minor details that could be fixed with the concept, including the addition of the compass to the hotbar of the Horseman. Overall, it is a good concept and as I have previously mentioned, it can be easily turned into a full idea with a little work. Focus on all the little aspects of your concept that may seem trivial, but they are very important. When you read a class idea, it should read like a description of a class already in the game that you have fought against, and as such, it should sound more factual and serious. Keep your tone serious and less colloquial, and you'll have a much better idea. Overall, +1 for creativity.

    Thank you so much for your feedback, well said. I never thought about a specific niche to fill. I saw this class as a class that wasn't insanely great at offense due to the difficulty of horse PvP, but was also a big target for fast classes or ranged classes, making me think it was literally a class made for sitting in the middle of the map warding off opponents or at least slowing them down due to it's speed, rather than going straight for a flag or sitting at home. Yes, they are still vulnerable to sniping in the middle of the map but I think the class works best in the middle. Less versatile than an elf I guess, but more heavy.

    I was under the impression that having the flag disables major class abilities already, but its a good point to raise. If you have the flag, Cavalry Mode is disabled, escapes would be too easy. No you can't dismount the horse period. Now targeting is another thing which I will have to take more time to think about but thank you for bringing these questions to the table.
