Player Strike Appeals

Sup CTF community! After much planning and discussion, we, the CTF Team committee are proud to show you the player strike appeals form. In this thread we will be discussing how it works, and hopefully be able to solve any of your questions/concerns in the process.

The Form

To appeal a strike, you will be required to fill out the strike appeal form! Please, only appeal one strike at a time, as it allows the committee to look into each and every strike individually and be able to handle them easier on a case-to-case basis. It's also easier for us to hold on to. You can find the actual appeal form here. The format is very basic, requiring you to fill out information about your strike, reason for said strike, date, and more. Feel free to check it out. If filling out the form to appeal a strike, please read the questions accordingly and make sure to answer them to the best of your ability; it makes it easier on both you and the committee.

Filling Out

As explained earlier, please take caution and read each and every question carefully. Make sure to answer it to the best of your ability truthfully as as accurate as possible. We understand that some strikes may have occurred a long time ago, so don't feel afraid if you don't remember something. Just try your best!

Unstrike Reasons

As you can see in the form, we ask "Why should you be unstriked". Please answer this to your belief and in honesty. Take in consideration why you were striked in the first place. Remember, if your appeal is denied, you will need to wait 3 months before re-appealing that specific strike,so make sure that your claim is correct. Involving "Personal Improvement", this applies to those who have made grim mistakes, and are sincerely sorry for their actions. The committee will be very picky with this category, so make sure that you have truly improved. This includes mentality, actions, etc. If you are positive that you have improved, then good luck! Be warned though, for those appealing for self-improvement, if you are given another chance and waste this chance, there will be no more. Be considerate of your actions.

Unstrike Explanation

When explaining why you should be unstriked, please be courteous to all members of the community, including the committee. Rudeness will get you nowhere. Be honest in your explanation, as the committee will be reviewing all information needed to review your appeal.

After Appealing

After you appeal, please be patient. The committee is most commonly active on the weekends, and with that the weekends are most likely when your appeal will be discussed. Obviously due to school and real life issues, not every weekend may be a good opening for the committee to discuss your strikes as a group, so keep that in mind when appealing that we might not be able to handle your appeal(s) at lightning speeds. It will take some time, so please do not bug committee members while your appeal is in motion.
