The problem right now is that there are these lower staff members who are trying really hard to help their server. They're answering every idea/suggestion thread and they're sharing a lot more with people who are close to them. But there's only so much they can do. We need devs, simple as that, and these staff members that have been trying for so long, get tired of feeling helpless and useless while waiting for the few devs we have to be able to do things for their server. But that's not the only issue. These new staff members are gung-ho about their job and they're answering every idea/suggestion like it's a good one, to try to keep the community interested. The problem is that not every idea/suggestion is a good one. You can't please the entire community, so trying to add every single idea would be a very, very bad idea. If the lower staff went through and read through their server's entire ideas section, weeding out bad ideas and writing down the good ones, they'd probably see a pattern of changes most people want added arise. Those are the ideas you add, not some unique idea that (granted) is unique, but it isn't good for the server.

Basically we have a lack of devs to implement changes, the staff members are getting bored and frustrated at waiting for changes, and all ideas are being treated as equal when they're not and should be separated by quality.

Yes. Only Putty, Yin, and the devs get money. Most of the money, however, would likely go into server management and general upkeeping.

 

Now I've been playing brawl for at least 2 years and played Wild West around the time it was released publicly. I think a lot of people don't like the staff teams or more specifically the high staffs lack of communication about stuff going on. I think most if not all the hate towards the higher staff would be alleviated if the players were told what was going on. A good example of this is why /cosm /cosmetics is down at this very moment. I've asked at least 2 smods and they claim to not know why it is. They could be telling the truth or not. Either way the staff team could make a announcement saying its down due to them adding in more stuff or they're reworking it or trying to figure out why its not working.

Understandably they might want to keep some stuff a secret which is fine, but some stuff should be announced so the players aren't left in the dark without a light. Now I understand ChickenPutty has a lot to do and thus is busy a lot, but the admins could be told of the problem and they could make a announcement to the players. Although this only covers a seemingly small portion of the problems that lay before brawl, but I believe this will help the most if it is taken care of.

Now I don't know if Randomcitizen1 is doing everything he can to make Wild West a lot more fun, interesting and fulfilling to play. I believe he is and he has put out a lot of decent ideas with is "Game Plan" and "Focus threads". My fear is that the admins don't have the same passion for the server as he does. I hope to be wrong about this and the admins are also doing everything they can to help out to.

All in all I think brawls lack of communication to its player base on updates and problems that's going on is the biggest problem. I really do love brawl and I hope it can polish itself and become something great.

I didn't want this post to feel like a rant, but more of a voice of concern for Brawl and its staff team.

I get your outrage and stuff, but you can't really say all sheriffs are mean to you guys and target you :X You've made a hasty generalization... Personally I think that team caps would benefit the server, but I have understood why it is a bad idea. The only reason you were part of such a big team is because you have a bunch of people you have shared experiences with. Is it really such a bad thing to be friends with many people? I certainly get some hate on WarZ for "team hopping" because there are so many perm banned players on there and I am friends with a lot of the community so I just hop around teams playing with whoever wants *cough * feels like tolerating :x *cough* me.
I understand your concerns with the server not updating as much as it should be, but there are currently issues with some of the developers. It takes a long time to install most of these updates and you can't forget that there are basically 3 or 4 devs working on all of the servers at the same time, as well as the forums. The biggest issue at the current time is that we do not have enough developers to handle the amount of updates being requested.
If you really are leaving forever, I'm sorry that it had to be on a sour note. I hope that you come on discord some times with the mafias and talk some still. Regardless of your recent actions I have always considered you to have an amazing heart and you do what you believe to be best.
